Ritsuka, trying to reassure the group, smiled and said, "Plus, it's not like I've really changed. Nothing significant has happened."
Almost as if the universe was waiting for the perfect moment to prove him wrong, Ritsuka let out a small burp. To everyone's surprise, a tiny stream of fire escaped his mouth.
Kadoc stared at Ritsuka in disbelief before chuckling. "Well, talk about timing."
The group burst into laughter, the tension easing as they shared the moment. Ritsuka scratched the back of his head, looking sheepish. "Okay, maybe *a few* things have changed."
Kama smirked, "Just a few, huh? Next time, let's see if you can burp out lightning."
Ritsuka shook his head, laughing along with the others. "I'll try to keep it to just fire, thanks."
With the mood lightened, the group continued their meal, the shared laughter reminding them of the camaraderie that kept them strong.
The next day arrived, as Kadoc was the first to wake up as he saw Ritsuka training as he was sending his black flames Amateurs to a few trea.
Ritsuka pulled his arm back as the black fire in the tips of his finger turned into a black fire arrows. Surya Arrow.
He shot thr arrow and destroyed a tree, Kadoc saw this and went to him..
Kadoc looked at Ritsuka. "Normally you would train with Sun mage crafts or your god shift".
Ritsuka sighed looked at him. "Yeah but I really don't want to do, to use sun mage craft I must observe the energy of the sun constantly, but remeber what happened when I did in this lost belt".
Kadoc nodded, recalling the incident. "Yeah, you almost overloaded your body with too much solar energy. It's understandable why you'd want to avoid that here."
Ritsuka looked at the remnants of the tree he had just destroyed, the black flames still smoldering on the ground. "Exactly. This Lostbelt's sun is… different. I don't want to take any unnecessary risks. Besides, focusing on Amaterasu and my other abilities will keep me sharp without the risk of destabilizing things."
Kadoc observed the dark fire as it consumed what was left of the tree. "I get it. But it's still strange to see you relying on other powers more than your Sun Magecraft. It's like watching a master swordsman using a bow instead."
Ritsuka smiled faintly. "It's all about adaptation. Every Lostbelt is different, and so are the challenges. I need to be prepared for anything, even if it means using abilities I'm less familiar with."
Kadoc folded his arms. "Makes sense. Just don't push yourself too hard. We're all in this together, and we need you at your best."
Ritsuka nodded appreciatively. "Thanks, Kadoc. I'll be careful." He then glanced at the horizon where the sun was beginning to rise. "But I have to admit, it's hard not to rely on the power I know best."
Kadoc patted Ritsuka on the shoulder. "We'll get through this. Just remember, it's not just about power—it's about strategy and teamwork. And you've got plenty of that."
With a renewed sense of resolve, Ritsuka extinguished the remaining flames with a wave of his hand. "You're right. Let's get ready for whatever's coming next."
Ritsuka then pointed at his arm where the 7 heavenly crystals that fused to his arm. Plus I have these crystals and it's elemental powers, not just that but I also my Rune Mage craft, my Shadow manipulation, my Ten shadows, my umbrel summons, plus the new energy minuplation Draco gave me and.....that sword".
Kadoc just looked at him. "Yeah let's talk about that sword, you starte to say shit then your crystal Glow, the world went gray then it broke as a light like sword came out and then you took down the fantasy tree of the French Lostbelt and then what you called 'End Time's' like what was all of that".
Ritsuka sighed, feeling the weight of Kadoc's question. "Yeah... that sword is something else. It's not just any weapon; it's like the embodiment of all the powers I've accumulated and something beyond that. When I activated it, it felt like I was channeling not just my abilities but the essence of the world itself—or maybe even something more."
He flexed his arm where the crystals were embedded. "The seven heavenly crystals, they resonate with the sword. They feed it power, not just elemental energy but something deeper. The world going gray… I think that was the manifestation of some kind of reality-altering force, something tied to the concept of 'End Times.' When I used it, it felt like I was rewriting the rules of the world, if only for a moment."
Kadoc nodded, still trying to wrap his head around it. "And the sword broke after you took down the Fantasy Tree. Why? What does that mean?"
Ritsuka hesitated, clearly still grappling with the experience himself. "I think... the sword isn't meant to be used lightly. It's like a failsafe, something that only activates in the most desperate situations. When I used it, it drew on everything I had—my crystals, my magecraft, my very life force. It's not something I can just wield whenever I want. It's more like a last resort, a weapon that's only meant to be used when there's no other option."
Kadoc's expression grew more serious. "So, you're saying that sword might come at a cost? Like, if you use it again…"
Ritsuka looked at him, eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation. "Exactly. I don't know what the full cost is, but I'm sure it's not something trivial. That's why I'm hesitant to rely on it, even though it's incredibly powerful. It's a double-edged sword, literally and figuratively."
Kadoc crossed his arms, concern evident on his face. "Well, just be careful with it. We've got a lot of battles ahead, and we can't afford to lose you."
Ritsuka nodded. "I'll be cautious. We've come too far to let anything happen now. But if the time comes, and there's no other choice… well, at least I know I have it."
The two stood in silence for a moment, the weight of Ritsuka's words hanging in the air. Then, with a deep breath, Ritsuka shook off the somber mood and managed a small smile. "But let's not dwell on it too much. We've got work to do, and I've got plenty of other tricks up my sleeve."
Kadoc smiled back, a bit more relaxed. "Yeah, let's focus on what we can control. And who knows, maybe we won't even need that sword."
"Let's hope so," Ritsuka said, his voice filled with both hope and determination.
"maybe it is because you summond for the first time, you fell like that because you just unlocked it that time"
Kadoc and Ritsuka saw it was Arjuna who and spoke, he had woken up and Hurd what Kadoc and Ritsuka was saying as they both just looked at him.
Arjuna looked at them and spoke. "Why didn't it try it again, try to summon it again and then make it go away".
Ritsuka just looked at Arjuna, he was right it was Theory worth testing out, Ritsuka took a deep breath before he started to chant. "To the will of the universe, to the protector of everything, to I who am his champion, I say to them all, give me the strength so I may summon the sword of the universe."
Everyone watched in astonishment as the world around them shifted to shades of gray. A bright light emanated from the gem in Ritsuka's arm, causing the ground to crack and tremble. As the light intensified, a sword of pure, radiant energy materialized in Ritsuka's hands.
The sword shimmered with an otherworldly brilliance, its very presence radiating immense power. Ritsuka, feeling a surge of strength and clarity, took a deep breath and swung the sword with all his might.
Ritsuka looked at the sword as word's came to his mind. "This is End Times, the sword or the universe"
Kadoc looked confused. "Wouldn't that be Excalibur".
Ritsuka held the sword in his hand, feeling the immense power surging through him. The name "End Times" resonated with him, as if the sword itself was whispering its purpose. It wasn't just a weapon; it was a force of nature, something that transcended the concepts of good and evil, hero and villain.
He looked over at Kadoc, who was clearly perplexed by the name. "Excalibur is a legendary sword, but it's tied to a specific story, a specific myth. End Times… this is something different. It's not bound to any one legend or world. It's a culmination of everything I've been through, everything I've learned and inherited."
Arjuna, observing the sword closely, nodded thoughtfully. "End Times isn't just a weapon. It's a manifestation of your journey, your trials, and your victories. It carries the weight of the universe, just as you do. But it's not something to be wielded carelessly."
Ritsuka looked at the blade, the light from it reflecting in his eyes. "I think you're right, Arjuna. This sword… it's not just about power. It's about responsibility. I'm not just wielding a weapon; I'm carrying the weight of everything I've fought for."
Arjuna crossed his arms, deep in thought. "That's why you need to be careful when you use it. It's a tool, yes, but it's also a burden. You must understand its true nature and respect it."
Ritsuka nodded, understanding the gravity of Arjuna's words. "I'll keep that in mind. This sword… it's a last resort, a tool to protect what matters most. But I'll only use it when there's no other choice."
With that, Ritsuka focused, and with a deep breath, he willed the sword to disappear. The world around them slowly returned to its normal colors, the oppressive energy fading away as the sword dematerialized into light and vanished.
Kadoc let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Well, that was something. At least now we know you can summon it and dismiss it at will."
Ritsuka smiled faintly. "Yeah, but I think we've proven it's not something to be taken lightly."
Arjuna nodded in agreement. "Indeed. It's a power you should wield only when absolutely necessary. But at least you've taken the first step in mastering it."
Ritsuka nodded, feeling a bit more at ease now that he had some control over the sword. "Thanks, Arjuna. I'll remember that."
Meanwhile in heaven 7 people no 7 angel were watching him, these were the 7 arc angels, with them was Zelretch as he was lapping the angel looked proud.
As the seven Archangels observed Ritsuka from their celestial vantage point, their expressions were a mix of awe and contemplation. Each of them felt the significance of what had just transpired, knowing the weight of the power Ritsuka had summoned.
Gabriel nodded with a serene smile. "He has indeed summoned the sword, 'End Times.' It is a rare and powerful artifact, a true testament to his worthiness as God's Champion."
Michael, always the strategist, furrowed his brow slightly. "Yes, but the question remains—how long can he maintain that power? The strain on his mortal body must be immense. Even for one chosen by the heavens, wielding such a force is no small feat."
Azrael, the Angel of Death, crossed his arms and gazed thoughtfully at the scene below. "He has summoned our Father's sword, a weapon of divine might. It is no surprise that he bears the title of God's Champion. But I wonder… if he can wield this sword, could he also be capable of wielding the spear? Or will that still remain in Artoria's possession?"
Zelretch, who had been quietly observing, chuckled softly, his mischievous grin as evident as ever. "Ah, the Spear of Destiny… A weapon of great renown, but different from 'End Times.' Artoria has claimed Excalibur, and she may indeed be fit to hold the spear, but Ritsuka… he's full of surprises, isn't he? Perhaps he'll find a way to prove himself worthy of both, or perhaps there's another path altogether."
Raphael, ever the healer, looked at Zelretch with curiosity. "You seem quite entertained by all of this, Zelretch. Do you think he's up to the challenge? Balancing such powers, wielding them without succumbing to their influence?"
Zelretch leaned back with a relaxed demeanor, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Oh, I'm quite sure he'll manage. He's resourceful, and more importantly, he's got a strong sense of purpose. He's not the type to be easily swayed by power. If anything, I'd wager that he'll find a way to master both the sword and the spear, if that's where his path leads him."
Uriel, the Angel of Wisdom, added quietly, "It's not just about strength or endurance. It's about wisdom and the purity of heart. Ritsuka has shown that he can harness this power without losing himself to it. That's the true test."
The Archangels fell silent for a moment, each pondering the potential of the young man below. The power of 'End Times' was not just a weapon; it was a reflection of the wielder's soul, their determination, and their commitment to the cause they fought for.
Zelretch finally broke the silence with a playful smirk. "Well, whether he wields one divine artifact or two, the real fun will be seeing how he uses them. After all, the road ahead is still full of challenges… and opportunities."
Gabriel nodded, her voice soft but firm. "Indeed. We shall watch over him and see how he rises to the trials ahead. He is, after all, not just our Father's Champion but also a beacon of hope for the world below."
With that, the Archangels and Zelretch returned to their silent vigil, each lost in their thoughts, contemplating the future and the role Ritsuka would play in it. The path before him was fraught with danger, but also with the potential for greatness. And in the heavens, they would be watching closely, ready to intervene if necessary, but also eager to see just how far Ritsuka's journey would take him.
