Chapter 118 - My sides ?

As Ritsuka was sleeping he was having dreams, not normal dream but instead memorys of the servant in Chaldea, so he was at this point had a hard time rembering all of them, as then the Memorys broke like glass as now Ritsuka was in forest, where standing in from of him was Olga no to was the Alien God using the form of Olga again, as she went tnad hugged Ritsuka and Hug was nice, Soft, gentle, warm and scary enough to Ritsuka it fekt comferthing.

Ritsuka felt a strange mix of emotions as the Alien God, wearing Olga's form, embraced him. The hug was unexpectedly soothing, filling him with a warmth that was disconcertingly pleasant.

The Alien God tilted his face up, her smile both gentle and unsettling. "So, how did you like my surprise?" she asked, her voice soft.

Ritsuka took a moment to compose himself. "It was... something," he replied cautiously.

The Alien God's smile widened. "Good. Now, let's talk."

As she released him, the forest around them seemed to grow more vivid, the colors and sounds sharpening. Ritsuka could feel the weight of her presence, a constant reminder of her power and influence.

"What do you want to talk about?" he asked, trying to keep his tone neutral.

The Alien God gestured for him to sit on a fallen log, and she joined him. "I want to discuss our arrangement, Ritsuka. You see, I have great plans for you and your companions. But those plans require cooperation and understanding."

Ritsuka frowned, trying to read her intentions. "What kind of plans?"

The Alien God leaned closer, her eyes glinting with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. "Plans that will change the very fabric of this world. You are a key player in these plans, Ritsuka. Your role is crucial, and I need you to understand the gravity of the situation."

Ritsuka's mind raced as he considered her words. "And what if I refuse to cooperate?"

The Alien God chuckled softly. "Oh, Ritsuka, you misunderstand. This isn't about coercion. It's about mutual benefit. You want to save humanity, don't you? To protect those you care about? I can help you achieve that."

Ritsuka's resolve hardened. "And what do you get out of it?"

Her smile turned enigmatic. "Power, influence, control—call it what you will. But know this: our goals align more than you might think. Together, we can reshape this world into something greater."

Ritsuka looked into her eyes, searching for any hint of deception. "And what if I still choose to oppose you?"

The Alien God's expression softened, almost sad. "Then you will find that the path of resistance is fraught with peril. But I believe in your wisdom, Ritsuka. I believe you will make the right choice."

Ritsuka stood up, feeling the weight of her words. "I'll think about it," he said, his voice firm.

The Alien God nodded, her smile returning. "That's all I ask. Remember, Ritsuka, the future is not set in stone. It is shaped by the choices we make."

The Aline god just kept Looking at him, as she grabbed his head and put it in her lap, as Ritsuka didn't know how to feel about, in all honesty he didn't know much about the real Alien God, before the reset when they finally meet her she already fused with Olga and became U-Olga Marie so a lot of the thing about her he knew was just a mix of her and Olga.

The aline god just gently played with Ritsuka hair. Tell me Ritsuka what do you think of Humanity.

Ritsuka lay in the Alien God's lap, feeling an odd mixture of comfort and unease as she gently played with his hair. Her question lingered in the air, probing the depths of his thoughts.

"Tell me, Ritsuka, what do you think of humanity?" she repeated softly.

Ritsuka took a deep breath, choosing his words carefully. "It's funny. When I look at humanity, I see a bunch of people who will sacrifice anyone for their goals. They'll do anything, no matter the cost. In that sense, I hate them. But that's not the whole picture. Humans are also capable of immense good. There are people who will do anything to save their loved ones, no matter what it takes. In a twisted way, I love them for that."

The Alien God studied him intently, her fingers still threading through his hair. "So, you see humanity the same way a Beast does," she observed.

Ritsuka frowned, trying to grasp her meaning. "A Beast?"

She nodded. "Beasts are entities that embody aspects of humanity, often its darkest traits. They see humanity in a similar dual light—capable of great evil but also of profound goodness. It's a complex, contradictory view."

Ritsuka considered this. "I guess I never thought about it that way. But I don't want to be like a Beast. I want to believe in the potential for good, to fight for a future where that goodness can flourish."

The Alien God smiled, a strange mixture of warmth and something darker. "And that, Ritsuka, is why you are so special. You embody both the light and the darkness of humanity, and that balance is what makes you a force to be reckoned with."

Ritsuka felt a shiver run down his spine at her words. "What are you trying to say?"

She leaned closer, her gaze piercing. "I'm saying that you have the power to shape the future, to lead humanity down a path of your choosing. Whether that path is one of salvation or destruction depends on you."

Ritsuka's resolve hardened. "I will fight for humanity, for the good that I believe in. I won't let the darkness consume us."

The Alien God chuckled softly. "I look forward to seeing how you achieve that, Ritsuka. Remember, our fates are intertwined. Use the power I have given you wisely."

As the dream began to dissolve, Ritsuka felt a sense of urgency and determination. He knew that the choices he made from now on would be critical, not just for him but for everyone who depended on him. With a final, lingering look from the Alien God, he woke up, ready to face the challenges ahead with renewed purpose.

The Alien God looked deeply into Ritsuka's eyes, her expression unreadable. "Before I leave, I want to say something," she began, her voice soft yet commanding. "Look inside yourself, very deep. Once you do, you will get an answer. After all, you're very interesting to me. You have the mindset of a Beast without being one. You're so different, so unique."

Ritsuka felt a mix of confusion and curiosity at her words, wondering what she meant and what answer he was supposed to find within himself.

She continued, her smile widening. "Also, I'll be taking a small part of you with me until we meet again."

Before Ritsuka could respond, the Alien God leaned down and kissed him. The kiss was brief but intense, and when she pulled back, she licked her lips and smiled, a knowing glint in her eyes. Then, just as suddenly as she had appeared, she was gone, and the dream ended.

Ritsuka woke with a start, the memory of her words and the kiss lingering in his mind. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and trying to shake off the remnants of the dream. The Alien God's message echoed in his thoughts, urging him to look within and find the answers she spoke of.

Determined to understand, Ritsuka got out of bed and began his day, resolved to uncover the truth she hinted at and to face whatever challenges lay ahead with the strength and clarity he needed.

Later that day, Ritsuka approached Romani, seeking advice on meditation techniques. Romani, who often connected with Goetia, shared a few methods he found effective. Armed with this knowledge, Ritsuka settled down in a quiet room, taking deep breaths to center himself. For the next hour, he sat in silence, focusing on his breathing and trying to clear his mind.

Just as he began to doubt the effectiveness of the meditation, he felt a shift within himself. Suddenly, he found himself in a different place, a void that felt both infinite and intimate. Before him stood two thrones: one gleaming gold, radiant like the sun, and the other a pitch-black void, as dark as the abyss.

Sitting on the golden throne was a figure clad in royal golden armor, holding a sword, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Ritsuka. On the black throne sat another Ritsuka, but this one was different. His armor was dark, his eyes glowed a piercing yellow, and several masks adorned his armor.

Above the golden throne, an inscription read "Ruler Ritsuka," while the dark throne bore the title "Pretender Ritsuka."

Ritsuka stood between the two thrones, feeling a strange sense of connection to both figures. The golden-armored Ruler Ritsuka looked at him with a serene, regal expression, while the dark-armored Pretender Ritsuka eyed him with a mix of curiosity and a hint of malevolence.

Ruler Ritsuka spoke first, his voice calm and authoritative. "Welcome, Ritsuka. You have finally found your way here. I am the embodiment of your potential as a ruler, the light within you that seeks justice, truth, and harmony."

Pretender Ritsuka leaned forward, his eyes gleaming. "And I am the part of you that thrives in the shadows, the cunning strategist who does whatever it takes to achieve our goals. The darkness that you cannot deny."

Ritsuka looked between the two, realizing that these figures represented the duality within him: the noble leader and the ruthless survivor. Both aspects were integral to who he was, and understanding them was crucial to his journey.

"So," Ritsuka began, his voice echoing in the void, "what am I supposed to learn from this? What does it mean for me?"

Ruler Ritsuka smiled. "You must find balance, Ritsuka. Embrace both the light and the dark within you. Only then will you truly understand your potential and be able to face the challenges ahead."

Pretender Ritsuka nodded in agreement, a rare moment of accord between the two. "Remember, strength comes from understanding and accepting all parts of yourself. Do not fear the darkness, but do not let it consume you either."

Ritsuka gazed at his other selves, contemplating their roles and what they represented. Finally, he posed the question that weighed heavily on his mind.

"Which one of you loves humanity, and which one hates it?"

Pretender Ritsuka, with his piercing yellow eyes and dark armor, was the first to answer. "I am the one who loves humanity. Ruler over there hates it."

Ruler Ritsuka, sitting serenely on his golden throne, nodded slightly but did not contradict the statement. Instead, he spoke with a calm authority. "It is not so simple, Ritsuka. I do not hate humanity in the way you might think. My role is to judge and lead, to hold humanity to its highest standards. My disdain comes from seeing how often they fall short, how they squander their potential."

Pretender Ritsuka leaned forward, his expression intense. "I love humanity for all its flaws and imperfections. I see their struggle, their capacity for both great good and terrible evil. It's their resilience and potential for growth that I cherish. While Ruler sees their failures, I see their triumphs, no matter how small."

Ritsuka took a deep breath, trying to process their words. This dichotomy reflected the complex relationship he had with humanity. Both sides held truth, and both were necessary for him to understand his place and purpose.

"So, what am I supposed to do with this understanding?" Ritsuka asked.

Ruler Ritsuka's voice was calm and steady. "You must integrate both perspectives. Recognize humanity's flaws, but also their potential. Judge fairly, but with compassion."

Pretender Ritsuka nodded. "Embrace their darkness, but also their light. Love them for who they are and who they can become. Only then will you be able to guide them and yourself effectively."

Ritsuka felt a sense of resolution. The path ahead was clearer now, even if still fraught with challenges. He understood that he needed both the light and the dark within him to navigate the complexities of his mission.

As he left the void and returned to his meditative state, Ritsuka felt more centered. The wisdom of his two other selves lingered in his mind, guiding him forward with a newfound clarity and balance.

Ritsuka opened his eyes from his meditation, seeing the concerned faces of the Divine Dogs, White and Black, along with Edmond. He took a deep breath, still processing his encounter with his Ruler and Pretender selves.

White, the Divine Dog, stepped forward, his eyes filled with concern. "We are sorry, Master. My brother and I tried our best."

Black nodded in agreement. "Yes, we tried, Master."

Edmond, with his usual calm demeanor, added, "The others tried as well, but we couldn't find the place where you spoke to your... what did you call it? Ruler and Pretender selves."

Ritsuka smiled reassuringly at them. "It's alright. That place was a deeply personal and internal space, something unique to my mind and soul. I didn't expect anyone else to be able to access it."

White looked relieved but still curious. "What did you learn from them, Master?"

Ritsuka pondered for a moment before answering. "I learned that within me are two perspectives: one that judges humanity harshly, seeing their flaws and failures, and another that loves them for their potential and resilience. I need to integrate both to lead and guide effectively."

Edmond nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense. Balancing those perspectives will make you stronger and more understanding of the complexities of the world and the people in it."

Ritsuka stood up, feeling more grounded and determined. "Exactly. It's not just about the battles we fight, but understanding why we fight them and for whom."

Black wagged his tail happily. "We're with you, Master, no matter what."

White barked in agreement. "Yes, we'll always be by your side."

Ritsuka felt a wave of gratitude towards his companions. "Thank you. All of you. Let's keep moving forward, together."

With that, Ritsuka and his companions left the meditation room, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them, armed with a deeper understanding of himself and his mission.
