She activated it before the [Sleep(II)] hit her and because it was only basic it didn't dispell the debuff and merely reduced it to 1 second instead of 4.

Make no mistake 4 seconds is more than enough for a monster like this to wipe them all out. The only reason they got away unscathed the first time it used this skill is because the monster was attacking Allan who woke up instead of everyone else and the leader was woken up quickly by the Mage.
Insania's quick thinking, might have just save all of them from an inevitable party wipe. After the second passed she inwardly chanted. 'I did not choose the support life... The support life chose me'
She threw both her swords as if they were spears, one aimed at Rez and another aimed at Xerca... After releasing them from the [Sleep(II)] Both were fast enough to react to the Acid Belch heading their direction and avoid getting melted. Without a dedicated skill, throwing a weapon at someone does negligible damage but it's enough to wake the two up from certain doom. Insania also kicked a pebble towards Juli which landed accurately on his forehead. He instantly activated a skill after waking. "Shield Dome! "
[Shield Dome]: Using the shield as a conduit, the user is able to create a magical barrier that could ward of all attacks for 2 seconds+(0.5% MaGi Po)

Juli was able to shrug off lethal damage and Rez and Xerca were both able to dodge. While all of that was happening, Insania sprinted with all her might and tackled Allan out of the way. Which woke him up instantly.
"Aaaaaargh" A person screamed in pain.
Insania tried her best to save those she can that she forgot all of them were attacked at the same time. Due to her sheer speed the world acted in slow motion and she was able to save 4 of the people near the monster... But one man who was too far away from her was currently bathed and melting from the Acid Belch. It was none other than the Fencer Russ.
Although equipped with a body dispell like Insania he was the one in closest proximity to the monster and the one the monster fired it's skill first. Insania couldn't bear to look at the mans direction because of his agonized screams.
"Thanks Insania, are you all right? " Allan softly said. "You're pretty indifferent at what's happening right now" Insania muttered. Standing up, Allan brought Insania to her feet and nodded. "You get used to it, everyone who goes on quests like these are prepared for the worse that they might die along the way."
Insania didn't reply and just made eye contact with Allan for a second before looking away. She inwardly screamed, 'AM I GEH? The heck was that moment we just had? No! no, I might be the only one overthinking it.' The sound of Juli's plea for help broke both of them out of the strange mood. "NEED A LIL HELP HERE! "
Juli from what Insania could tell about him from observation was a man of few words, perhaps this is the first time she's heard him shout and make a coherent sentence. She focused on the battle again and scanned the monster.

It might not seem that the backlines haven't done anything but that's far from the truth, had Lainey and Mal not slowed the monster down to crawl they'd have died the second they all got hit by the Sleep Inducing roar. Hetir also took on a huge burden of supplying not only HP to Juli but also buffs to the rest of the mercenaries. None of the 3 did damage but they've splendidly fulfilled their roles.
"Poison! Dam Im off my game today... First I forget about my skills then I forget I have a Poison pot that would've made this fight end faster" Insania smacked her head and pulled out 3 of the Zwifruit Poison Pot. She grabbed at Allan's shoulder and gave one to him.
"Pretty potent stuff you got there, Wish you'd pulled it out sooner" Allan remarked with slight frustration.
"I'm sorry, I've been so out of sorts ever since this whole fight started."
Allan said no more, accepted the Poison Pot and applied it to his sword. Insania went to fetch both her swords and sheathed the other, in the entire fight she has never deigned to dual wield her blades. Why? Because doing so could get her killed. Why would you dual wield in front of a monster that is 220 levels above you when you aren't even an expert at fighting with one?
She poured the contents of the Poison pot on her sword, reducing it's already dwindling durability then she threw one at Xerca. "Use it... It's much potent compared to the one you're using" Insania could easily tell who was responsible for which debuff and who else could inflict [Poison] than a Rouge class.
The monsters body glowed with that familiar light and Insania realized it used it's Body dispell again, checking to make sure she confirmed all Status debuffs got removed. Insania pointed an index finger and fire [Zap]. "Bang" and accompanied by it getting [Shock] for the umpteenth time this fight a blazing scorching spell hit it square on it's open face.
"So that's what he's been waiting for all this time" Insania could only marvel in awe at the Mage's skill, he knew exactly when to fire his spells that he has not missed a single shot. He alone has shaved 50k of the monsters Hitpoints and this time it's a much much stronger spell compared to the last one he fired.
"5k left huh?" Insania scrutinized the monster and couldn't help but flinch. The monster was scorched absolutely singed(burnt) to the very last fur on it's body, it's face mouth open wide and bleeding for the entire world to see, it's eyes oozing bloodlust and hatred at all of them.
It screeched and roared and spat curses at all of them with an Acid Belch on the side. Then it turned around, preparing to leave and lick its wounds, realizing it has bitten off more than it could chew. "Like hell I'd let you walk away! " Insania lunged at the monster with a rope in hand, she hurriedly tied the rope to her sword with the strongest knot she could remember and stabbed the monsters exposed side. Her eyes exuded grim malice and those who saw her fiendish grin couldn't help but shudder. All of them were more than happy to let the monster go, they were all dead tired from the fight and they still have to grieve their fallen so none of them chased after the monster.
The Mage from the back saw Insania tying up the monsters feet and giggled. "Ok, I'll help you out just this once" he conjured a spell much weaker to the spells he fired but that much faster. Wind coalesced into his staff and he formed an 8 ft long wind spear that was quite visible due to the undulations and erratic movement of the wind contained inside the spell.
Insania grappled and pulled at the monster as if her life depended on it. The bloody thing gave them so much trouble that it will never be selfish of her to want to taste the sweet nectar of victory and the oh so juicy experience this monster could give her... Lippo alone gave her 16 levels despite it having a lower level than this one. Just imagining the experience a level 240 monster could give to someone like her fueled her with the strength and in fact more strength than her body is currently capable of to pull the monster taut despite it's refusal to budge.
Insania made deep grooves on the ground, she felt like she was pulling a moving train with a rope. The good thing is though, the rope was expertly tied to it's whole body so unless the monster suddenly gains immense strength, it wouldn't snap as easily. 'What's taking them so long?' Insania glanced back and realized none of the Mercenaries nor Allan came forward to help her pull on the rope she tied to the monster. All of them just stared at her with incredulity and a slight apprehension.
Finally after 10 seconds of Insania being dragged by the monsters retreating form a [Wind Lance] spell connected with it's back and it screamed in Fury.
"ARIGATOU GOZAI MASU!" Insania shouted with unbridled joy. The monster realizing it has less than 300 HP left, made a deep squat as if preparing itself for a long jump. But Insania was quicker she hurriedly glanced at her stats and currently, she had full Hitpoints and 400 Manapoints. Why full hitpoints you ask? Because Hetir topped her back to full after almost dying to the monster.
A wide victorious grin was plastered on her face when she was at arms length from the monster. "You're DEAD! [DIS-CHARGEEE]!!!" An electrical field expanded from Insania's body outwards and engulfed her and the monster.
