Chapter 22 - Unexpected attack
After telling Thyrrhane everything he needed to know, including numerous other stuff, Vaertha asked, "When would you guys move to abduct her for our goal?"
"Very soon. Let's just study her first. After very thorough examinations and observations, we would move to capture her." Thyrrhane said while Vaertha nodded his head, pleased with what he heard.
Thyrrhane spoke further, "Since we would need more hands in overwhelming the assemblage of Blessed protectors that move around with her, I will personally request for more hands from three other groups. We will unite for the actualization of this goal, we just have to. Because this is our easiest path to great wealth, one that would enable us to have our own large area of lands in the numerous nations. Haha."
Once Thyrrhane said that, Vaertha nodded his head.
Then he stood to his feet and said, "I will be leaving now. Please, remember to work on this as soon as possible."
"Definitely. I assure you." Thyrrhane said while Vaertha nodded his head. Then he left the place to return home, a great smile etched on his lips that whispered nothing but venom and chaos. He was a really malevolent individual who will do anything to accomplish his goals.
...
"Glade, about to leave for your training?" Thorrhia immediately asked once she came to the sitting room and saw Glade heading towards the door.
"Yes, sis. I am about to." Glade said with a smile on his face.
"So, no morning embrace? Come here at once you brat." Thorrhia said while Glade smiled. He then pivoted and walked towards his sister who had a smirk expression on her face.
After embracing her with Thorrhia lovingly kissing his forehead, she asked with a false serious look on her face, "So, aren't you going to pay me for crafting a well-delivered and received speech? You know, mom didn't reprimand you or anything like that yesterday. That was all me. The greatest statement crafter and deliverer."
Glade grinned and said, "Alright. How much do want, big sis? Don't ask anything below a trillion. I am hundred times worth that."
Once Glade said that, Thorrhia's eyes gleamed. She then playfully roughened his hair and said, sisterly affection exuding from her angelic voice, "Look at you. Broke ass."
Glade burst into laughter.
"Alright. Don't let me delay you any further. Your training is very important." Thorrhia said while Glade nodded his head.
"See you later in the evening, sis." Glade said while Thorrhia winked and blew a kiss at him. Then she went off to do something she had in mind. While Glade who had left through the magnificently-crafted, thick golden door to their towering, enormous mansion, reached the large and solid, pure-silver gate twenty minutes later and immediately headed out, walking into the street to find a passing vehicle that would convey him to a new location for training.
Since he had destroyed the first place that he went to for training, he could only opt for another place. A fresh new place.
After walking for sometime, in ordinary clothes, a vehicle finally stopped in front of him, after being waved down by Glade.
"Where to, young sir?" The driver asked once Glade got in.
"To the Redsilk valley." Glade answered.
"Alright, young sir." The driver said and immediately started the journey.
...
About two hours forty-five minutes later, they finally arrived at the Redsilk Valley.
Glade paid the driver who thanked him for his shocking generousness and went off. While Glade who was ready for a new day of training, beamed a smile on his face. But when he recalled how wild and seemingly untamable the Blessings he wanted to control were, he couldn't help but shake his head in frustration.
After walking for sometime, going deeper into the silent valley covered with Redsilk flowers that covered the bare brown earth in this region, he suddenly came across a group of students who were training.
'Who the fuck are these fellows? Ugh!' Glade said immediately within himself. He was truly not happy seeing them.
As for the group of students—which consisted of seven males and four girls, immediately they saw Glade, they produced angry looks on their faces.
"Hey, what do you want, peasant? Turn around immediately and get out of here." The leader of the group said furiously, while Glade simply beamed a smile on his face.
"It's funny how I was just about to tell you the same thing. So, guys, get out of this place." Glade calmly and confidently said, after being rudely spoken to. He simply took their words and used it against them. As for the students, after hearing that, their eyes immediately shone with intensely blazing fury. The excessive pride in them, as they were Blessed students from a prestigious academy, caused the now-burning flame of fury within them to burn even more so, and in a more fierce manner.
"Do you know who we are?" The leader of the group, Ghilrone, asked with a cold, mean and really wrathful look on his face.
"Yes, a group of boring, good-for-nothing students from some academy." Glade who wasn't going to let anyone insult him—as they had called him peasant, stood his ground and retaliated with his words.
"HOW DARE YOU?!!!" Ghilrone shouted at the top of his lungs and suddenly aimed his two palms at Glade, unleashing a destructively potent, swirling blast of white-grey fire that struck into him and knocked him flying for dozens of meters.
Immediately he lashed out with that attack, he looked at his team members and said with a cold tone in his voice, "None of you should tell any of our instructors that I used my Blessing to hurt someone. Or you will leave to regret it."
"Why would we do that, Ghilrone? We even want you to teach that fool a lesson. And if he's dead, that's on him. He brought it upon himself and so fully deserves it."
"But I hope he is dead, because if not, I will behead him or slice him apart using my energy-sword-generation Blessing, or unleash series of attacks at him, turning him to countless bloody fragments."
"He totally deserves a really vicious death for audaciously talking to us Priests' favorite in such a careless, and rather condescending manner. How dare he?"
