Chapter 1 - Prologue

In this world, all living beings are bound by their fate and story. Their karma decides the kind of life they live—good deeds bring a good life, while bad deeds bring suffering. But how they choose to live is left to them.

All beings have free will, and some decide to live however they want. These individuals discover ways to use their spiritual energy and perform supernatural acts. They manipulate the laws of the world through magic. They are called mages—beings who break free from the rules that govern the world.

One such being lives far away, in a different universe, outside our space and time. This universe is on the verge of collapse—its realms have already fallen apart, and now everything is shrinking toward a single point. It is a universe that has reached the end of its life.

In that universe, a grand palace floats in the empty void. Five tall towers surround the palace, arranged like the points of a five-pointed star, with the palace resting at the center.

Inside the palace, a deep voice echoed:

"Queen, the preparations are complete. Everything is ready."

The speaker was a tall man with brown hair and deep blue eyes. His right eye, hidden under his hair, carried a strange, mysterious symbol.

In the palace's throne room, a large formation was laid out on the floor. A big circle, drawn with blood, surrounded two smaller circles. At the centre of the pattern was a five-pointed star, each of its points aimed at one of the five towers outside.

At the end of every point, smaller circles overlapped the outer circle, and within each circle was a symbol of the five attributes of natural elements—Prithvi (Earth), Jala (Water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air), and Akasha (Space). Each element glimmered faintly, waiting for the ritual to begin.

On the throne sat a woman, her golden hair shining under the dim light. Her deep blue eyes carried sorrow and determination. She wore a tall witch's hat and held a staff that seemed to twist the air around it as if warping reality itself.

"The time has come... to protect my home," she whispered to herself, placing a hand on her chest. Her heart raced with nervousness, but mixed with it was a strange joy—and hidden behind both, a trace of guilt.

"Let's begin," she said calmly.

The tall man nodded. "Yes, Mother..."

With a flick of his wrist, a knife appeared in his hand. He sliced his left palm, and the blood dripped onto the formation. The crimson liquid flowed into the lines, lighting up the circles and star with a glowing red aura.

The Queen stood, raising her staff high above her head. A bright red light burst from its tip, spreading through the palace. She chanted:

"He vidheḥ vṛkṣaḥ, he niyamasya vṛkṣaḥ, he jīvana-vṛkṣaḥ. Mama abhilāṣaṁ pūraya!"

(O Tree of Creation, Tree of Law, Tree of Life. Full-fill my desire!)

The five elements stirred to life. Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space began to move in a perfect circle, spinning clockwise around the formation. They completed seven circles, faster with each turn, before settling in their proper places.

Outside, the five towers hummed with energy, their ancient symbols glowing brightly. In the empty space between the towers, a massive formation of light appeared, hanging like a web in the void. At the centre of the formation, energy began to gather—chaotic and raw, made from the very laws that govern existence.

Suddenly, the energy burst upward from the formation in the throne room, tearing through the fabric of space-time. The universe trembled as cracks began to spread across reality itself. Space twisted, time shattered, and the very foundation of existence wavered on the edge of collapse.

The Queen floated upward, rising from the palace to the top of the highest tower. Her golden hair glimmered against the dark sky, but her expression was calm and focused.

"As expected..." she whispered, her eyes steady.

Raising her left fist, she released a pulse of powerful energy. The cracks in space-time stopped spreading, and the shattered pieces of reality slowly began to mend. One by one, the broken fragments knit back together, stabilizing the infinite universe.

The tension in the air eased, and the storm of collapsing realities came to a halt, leaving behind a strange silence.

The Queen looked out into the vast emptiness and gave a small nod.

"It has begun."
