The bustling center of Eichwald shrunk in the rearview mirror as the hover car zoomed past the street. Soon, it seamlessly transitioned onto the highway, accelerating effortlessly along the smooth, unburdened path.
Julian pressed one hand against the car window, watching the passing scenery blur into a kaleidoscope of yellow, dark blue, and black colors.
"I don't think that we are going to any restaurant or hotel," he slowly said.
Maximillian pulled him onto his lap and buried his face in the crook of the omega's neck.
"Relax, Baby," he crooned. "Just enjoy the ride."
Julian's lips curved into a smile.
"Why so mysterious?" He whispered.
"It's not."
Maximillian's hand snaked upward, his touch lingering on Julian's chin before dipping down. His lips followed, trailing a heated path along the slender column of Julian's neck.
"I just want to enjoy our time together, just you and me."
