Julian stared at the television screen.
"Witnesses reported a chaotic scene at Equity Bank today, describing what appeared to be an otherworldly phenomenon. Bank employees were reportedly thrown about by an unseen force, and a high-pitched shriek shattered all the glass within the building. Authorities are currently investigating the incident."
It was no doubt the work of those who bought and ingested Drug Y from the Black Market.
"Can we go there???" Dunham asked, his eyes round from excitement.
"No," Maximillian answered after he ended the call. He slid a hand to Julian's back and spoke to him in an urgent voice, "Dear, I have to go. I will ask for a car from the Bureau to take the both of you back home."
"No need," Julian answered. "I can take Dunham and myself home on my own. No worries."
