Florian Seebach was literally a bundle of nerves. It had been three years since he last stepped foot in this compound.
He thought he would never return.
But here he was, standing in front of Maximillian's house, his entry barred by a child android who looked up at him in suspicion.
"Eugene, hi..." Florian flashed Eugene a bright smile. "May I enter?"
"Excuse me, Sir, I do not recognize you," Eugene answered without batting an eyelid.
"..."
Florian was speechless.
"But I... I used to come visit several times," he tried to convince the android.
"Three years ago," he added. "Not this house, but you know me. We met."
Maximillian earned himself this bigger house several months after their separation, after he was promoted to the chief position.
Eugene remained unmoved.
