What exactly was the Fallen Race?

Naturally, using the basic connection skills he possessed, Melchior couldn't help but connect the Fallen Race to the Fallen Angel Space that he had access to.
'Are the Fallen Race and the Fallen Angel Race related somehow?'
Elgross was a planet filled with all manners of beings and species. There were the obvious ones that everyone had interacted with at least once in their lives. Those were the Spirits and Spirit Beasts.
However, there were also slightly less common ones that were depicted in books like elves, dwarves and the like.
