Two boys sat at the edge of the forest.
"That dude's gone now, y'know."
"I know."
The first boy laughed cheerfully, "So you don't have to worry anymore."
Andy snorted, standing up. "Only weaklings think like that, Clyde. If I had to be worried about him, then it just shows what kind of person I am. What kind of person we are."
His thin friend shrugged, following after as they walked on the forest trail.
"He kept his word and didn't out us," Clyde added.
"And my father is now locked up because of him. What's your point?"
There was a small pause upon the mention of Elias. Clyde jumped in front of Andy before the larger boy could keep walking.
"Why do you care so much about it?" he pointed. "You complained all the time about the stuff he did to you. Why do you care so much now?"
Andy didn't stop moving. He extended a hand to push Clyde out of the way, but the monkey-like boy dodged his hand with ease.
