Chapter 123 - Winner

'I want to fight him again,'

That was the only thought on Melchior's mind at the moment. It was nothing short of an unsatisfying victory. That wasn't the best of his ability, and it clearly wasn't the best of Maru's ability.

Another fight would be ideal. He wanted to settle it once and for all, he wasn't satisfied with that mediocre ending.

But from how everything looked, it seemed like that wouldn't be happening. Not now at least.

He returned his hands to beneath his coat, assessing the surroundings carefully.

The sand was wet, as an effect of the large wave he'd unleashed just minutes beforehand. The crowd of people that watched also stood, silently and stunned compared to how they were before.

Mel grunted, scanning the extras until he eventually landed on a familiar masked figure. He couldn't sense what she thought from under her mask, which was a little sad if he had to be honest.

'Well, whatever.'
