There's someone in the surveillance room, someone alive.
He raised his hands, kept his mouth shut, and glared at the intruder in silence.
The living person pretending to be dead was much more arrogant than the rabbit pretending to be dead. Ichijō Mirai looked at him for a few moments, then stepped back and dragged the receptionist in.
He picked up the pen and paper he had brought in, tore off three sheets, and quickly wrote: [Cause of death: Mechanical asphyxiation.]
After a moment's thought, he added an extra sentence: [All killed in three seconds.]
When he was done, he slapped his backhand to the two living men who were glaring at the intruder, "Hold it up."
Then he slapped another one on the lying staff member, explaining to Furuya Rei why the staff member was really unconscious, "I didn't stop for a moment."
No, he did, or else the staff member would have sprouted wings and gone to God instead of a coma.
Furuya Rei stared at the staff member on the floor for a few seconds and nodded hesitantly, "Uh-huh."
"I've got the elevator card," He said nothing more, silently holding up a card he'd fished out of the surveillance officer's possession, "Going straight down later?"
Most of the cash was on the negative floor, and the only way to get to the negative floor was through the elevator, which had no restrictions, any guest could get on the elevator at will on the first floor, and on the second floor, but to get to the negative floor you had to swipe the card.
"Wait," Ichijō Mirai briefly demurred, "Depending on the current state of the negative and third floors, wait for a signal from Matsuda-san and the others."
Robbing a bank is a skilled job.
For various reasons, they were divided into groups, and Ichijō Mirai chose Furuya Rei to work with him in the first line of attack.
The reason was simple: Furuya Rei was too conspicuous.
So conspicuous that as soon as he waltzed into the lobby of the bank's first floor, it would take no more than two minutes for the bank's supervisor to get a call: 'Report, a young dark-skinned customer, suspected to be the dark-skinned police cadet from the robbers!'
There's no way that the distinctive Furuya Rei can't be seen by any of the staff until the operation is exposed.
The same goes for Matsuda Jinpei:''Report! There's a curly-haired monster! Isn't it the curly-haired tsundere from the police academy?!''
And Date Wataru: 'It looks fierce, is it a robber? It's definitely a robber!'
Even Ichijō Mirai himself.
With his red eyes, and being the leading scourge, the bank was on high alert, and he was almost certain that as soon as he appeared in the sights of the staff, the police would start arresting him without a second thought.
That's the beauty of catching a thief before he catches a king.
Kenji Hagiwara and Morofushi Hiromitsu, who were less distinctive and more gentle, were the most suitable people to step in.
One of them was on a stakeout outside, and after clearing a line inside, they disguised themselves as staff members, and the other as customers, waiting patiently on chairs in the bank lobby like ordinary people in the queue for their numbers.
Ichijō Mirai and Furuya Rei infiltrated through the back door, while Matsuda Jinpei and the others infiltrated through the third floor.
The third floor is a special place.
Special because many of the bank's top executives have offices on the third floor.
In the surveillance video, there's little activity in the corridors on the third floor, and on the first and second floors, the bank requires that all offices be open except for a few, and during patrols, the security guards go into each office and walk around.
On the third floor, however, the office doors were closed whether or not anyone was there, and the security guards' patrols did not include knocking on doors and entering to check, they just wandered around the corridors, meaningfully checking the floors for stains.
If they don't hear anything strange, like a cry for help or a panicked lurker, they leave after 30 seconds.
Right now, the security cameras in the second floor surveillance room are showing the team entering the hallway, checking it out, and then leaving.
Within seconds, Ichijō Mirai heard Matsuda Jinpei's voice coming out of his headset, "Ready, requesting action."
He replied briefly, "Approved."
"Be careful not to accidentally detonate the bomb."
Matsuda Jinpei: "Roger."
Two furtive figures appeared on the third-floor monitor, leaping in through the window at the end of the corridor, both guarding their stomachs with some difficulty.
The sneaky figure in front of them wore a hat, covering their most distinctive features, and as soon as they tumbled into the corridor, they immediately squatted halfway against the corner and scanned the surrounding rooms with closed doors vigilantly.
The sneaky figure behind him was wearing two black masks, also covering his most distinctive features, and when he rolled in, he squeezed twice before he could barely fit himself into the corridor.
As soon as he landed, he crouched into another corner and alertly tapped his earpiece with his finger, signaling: infiltrated.
It was now nine o'clock in the morning.
Ichijō Mirai had already multiplied the video of the third floor from the 7:00 to 9:00 phase, knew which offices were occupied, and commanded, "The second office on the Matsuda side, and the third office on the Wataru side."
"Enter."
And adjusting his headset, he gestured to Furuya Rei without looking back.
Furuya Rei took the elevator card and went out, glancing at the staff version of Kenji Hagiwara, who had just appeared a few seconds before, almost exactly like Ichijō Mirai, and who had risen from under the desk as if nothing had happened, and walked quickly to the elevator and swiped his card to go down.
Ichijō Mirai, on the other hand, had turned the camera to the lobby.
In the lobby, Morofushi Hiromitsu was already in line for an appointment, sitting in a chair and waiting.
On his left is an elderly man, and on his right is a woman with a six- or seven-year-old child.
Spreading out a little further, there are a few middle-aged men and young men who are seated and looking around warily.
At regular intervals, these men are called to go to the processing window.
There are five windows in all, and almost every round of customers has a vigilant male, who leaves the bank with his head down, then returns a few moments later to change his clothes.
The stock of clothes was a bit thin, though, and Ichijō Mirai had already seen no less than ten people wearing a pair of pink pants by the time he'd doubled up on them.
He looked around a bit more and said to Morofushi Hiromitsu, "Two meters at three o'clock, five meters at six o'clock, four meters at eight o'clock."
"It's the three plainclothes police closest to you, so pay attention."
"Hold the child hostage if necessary."
And again, "Are you ready?"
Morofushi Hiromitsu, feigning impatience with the wait, half-rose and glanced toward the processing window, moving his mouth in a smooth motion, "Ready."
"I've customized the business cards for each cause of death in advance, and I have thirteen business cards for [cause of death: gunshot wound] in my pocket alone."
Adding, "On the back is a sketch of a fox with red eyes."
"It's quite a card, isn't it?"
Ichijō Mirai: "..."
Even if there's a hostage situation and there's a death later, he didn't 'kill' him, did he? Why do you keep his card!
...Wait, it's not his card!
"I'm watching you," He said quietly, "so be careful what you say."
"You don't want revenge from the unforgiving Messiah-sama, do you, Morofushi-san?"
"Don't worry, Messiah-sama is not at all careful or vindictive, and wouldn't dangle a bullet and ask you to do something typical of gamer behavior."
It's the other way around.
Morofushi Hiromitsu immediately said, "It seems a bit bad to give the 'dead' a business card, if I have the opportunity, I'd better find a pen and paper to write one, it's just a pity that Matsuda-san's suggestion."
He resumed his seat on the bank, maintaining his impatient look as he crossed his leg, which was still shaking, while he happened to glance down at the officer at three o'clock, quickly locking on.
Six o'clock and eight o'clock are behind him, one is directly behind, to turn his head to see, the movement is too large, he can not turn his head to see, can only be as if he heard the children's movement of the side of the head, quickly scanned a few eight o'clock direction of the police officers.
Ichijō Mirai is quickly reviewing all the surveillance and is on the mike, "We have an armed and plainclothes entry, be on the lookout."
On the third floor, Matsuda Jinpei and Date Wataru have taken two bank executives hostage in their offices.
On the second floor, Kenji Hagiwara was smiling as he answered a customer's question, not like a novice who had just joined the bank a few minutes earlier, but like a good employee.
On the first floor, Furuya Rei had already taken care of the three men and invited them into an office near the elevator, while he closed the door, half crouched down, pressed his headset, and under the murderous glares of the three guards, reported, "We've cleared the first section."
He looked up and smiled at the three guards, "Can't help it, you'll be searched individually, and you'll give the hostages a chance to tip them off."
Ichijō Mirai pressed his headset and tuned in to Matsuda Jinpei, "Just one person will suffice for the face-swipe barrier on the negative floor, you guys look in the mood to silence one of you, bring him up to the second floor, have Kenji watch him, and take the one who's alive down the elevator to the negative floor."
"Lay half of the bombs on the third floor and keep half to lay on the negative floor."
He looked at Morofushi Hiromitsu again.
It was Morofushi Hiromitsu's turn to check in, and instead of actually doing so, he expressed his bewilderment at not having all his papers with him, like a college student with a clear-cut stupidity.
When he finally left the window, he didn't go out, but sat down in the same place, holding up his cell phone as if he were calling someone else, complaining, and telling them how to look through things to find their documents and give their address.
Ichijō Mirai said, "Attention, there will be the sound of a bomb going off, the people on the second floor will be escorted to the first floor by Kenji, until they reach the first floor, you must maintain order on the first floor."
"I'll give you a signal ahead of time and turn on the radio to assist you."
It was a difficult task for one person to clear the entire hall with a number of plainclothes police among the guests, and with a time limit.
Morofushi Hiromitsu, however, agreed without hesitation: "OK."
Ichijō Mirai wouldn't give him a task that was too far beyond his ability to accomplish, so if that's the case, then there's a probability of accomplishing it, and the probability isn't low.
Then how to quickly clean up the entire first floor hall in a very short period of time?
Scanning the lobby without a trace, Morofushi Hiromitsu's eyes flickered a few times as they landed on the check-in window.
Ichijō Mirai averted his eyes and looked at the negative floor.
On the lower level, Matsuda Jinpei and Date Wataru had already descended the elevator with the top bank executive and the Human Key, and had joined Furuya Rei, who had separated the bombs and changed into security uniforms.
"Attention," Ichijō Mirai tapped his headset, "threat."
As soon as he said it, Date Wataru sank down and looked at the bank executive, "No small moves,"
"It's a drill, but," he pulled his gun from the back of his waist and looked at the bomb again, his eyebrows twitched and pressed downward, making the look on his face even more menacing, "do you guess if I'm holding a real gun, or a fake one?"
The heartbeat of the bank executives skipped a beat.
Date Wataru quickly smiled again, as if he was trying to coax a child, and his tone was gentle, "Good boy, you won't die if you don't mess around, thinking that it's a fake gun anyway, and winking at the others as a warning."
"Come on."
They headed deeper into the lower level.
Ichijō Mirai called up the security cameras and said, "Kenji, when the second team of security guards arrives, we'll attack from both sides."
Only seven or eight minutes have passed.
The security patrols were to leave every ten minutes, and since each patrol had to take a break, and since that rule had just morphed into a bit of a laxity, no one had realized that one of the guards had disappeared yet.
The next team of security guards didn't even realize it. They stopped in a group of three in front of the surveillance room and casually knocked on the door.
While knocking, they chatted, saying sad things like 'what a pain in the ass', 'I'm exhausted', 'I'm working late at night and I don't get paid for it', and then 10 seconds later, they got sadder.
After ten seconds, they crouched in the corner of the surveillance room and received the angry glares from their seniors and glared back at them.
They glared at each other, and also glared at Ichijō Mirai.
Ichijō Mirai casually slapped them in the face with a few more death notices and focused on the situation on the negative floor, "The second batch has been resolved, in five to ten minutes, the bank will notice the anomaly,"
"Report progress."
He was relieved to find that Date Wataru had already mastered the essence of creating Inuo: the bank executives were very good, they didn't move much from start to finish, and when they encountered other staff members, they offered to help get rid of them.
They made their way to the vault almost unimpeded.
The vault is keyed, not just by facial recognition of one of the executives, but by a number of cumbersome procedures that require the entire bank to unlock it, the first of which requires the cooperation of the surveillance room.
There is a program on the computer in the surveillance room, which is connected to the combination lock, and the combination is automatically generated every day, which can be viewed on the computer and entered into the combination lock on the negative floor.
Ichijō Mirai glances at it, passes the code over, and adds, "The last code requires the president's face and fingerprints, but he's not at the bank right now."
He gave the order, "Three minutes. Blow it up."
Another order to Kenji Hagiwara and Morofushi Hiromitsu, "Bomb laying has begun, countdown to three minutes, prepare to take over the bank."
"I will help you."
The way to help is: "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen."
As the two minutes ticked away, Ichijō Mirai pressed the radio and let his voice carry throughout the bank, "It's a nice day, I'm having fun, let's play a little game, shall we?"
"One, two, three woodies."
He snapped his fingers, "Let's hear the signal to start the game."
On the negative floor, there was the sound of a bomb going off, the whole bank shook vaguely, "Boom!"
