Chapter 7 - Let's retry Next time

We see Akuro and Hiro looking at Maxwell as he is practicing his punch. His punches were extremely strong and steady, he never felt this strong. Wulmar wasn't someone to take fun of and it shown by the amazing

Akuro chuckled as he looked at the impressive movement of Maxwell. "Are you sure you gonna fight him…?" he said to Hiro.

Hiro looks down at Akuro and laughs "I literally fought you once and I won easily, taking him won't be a problem."

Akuro chuckled again "Because I was just not in my right mood for a fight…and of course…not my strongest form." He ended with one eye open looking at Hiro with a smirk.

Hiro: Oh..getting cocky aren't we? When is your lifetime transformation?

Akuro laughs "Getting excited mh? Well, you better be patient." he put himself into a sleeping position "For now focus on our student."

Hiro looks at the now sleeping cat, "Tch, You better soon enough!" He walks back to the arena to see Maxwell.

Meanwhile, we see Akuro looking at the delinquent cat "Someone eager huh…?" he chuckled to himself.

"Alright fighter that's enough punching for now."

Maxwell abruptly stopped as his breath was heavy, he had never been this good before in his life! His tails wag slowly behind.

Hiro could feel the monster's excitement "I can see that you happy!"

Maxwell: Y-yes sensei! It was amazing..!

Hiro chuckled again, "You have made good progress so far, Now is time to learn about dodging attacks." He sits down and Maxwell does the same.

"Alright, let's get started," Hiro said, his voice firm yet encouraging. "Dodging attacks is all about speed, agility, and anticipation. You've got to stay one step ahead of your opponent at all times."

Maxwell listened intently as Hiro explained the basics of dodging, his eyes focused and his mind sharp. He absorbed every word, eager to put his newfound knowledge into practice.

"First, we'll start with some simple drills," Hiro continued, gesturing for Maxwell to stand up. "I'll throw some punches, and you'll practice dodging them. Remember, timing is everything."

Maxwell nodded "Yes sensei!" his tail fast in anticipation.

Hiro got up "Alright, try to make the first move."

Maxwell got up and made a fighting position, ready to make the first fist to Hiro. The delinquent cat smirks as he stays for it.

Maxwell clenched his fist and ran at Hiro ready to blow the fist when suddenly Hiro missed the attack with ease making Maxwell fall.

Hiro: I didn't say it was easy!

Maxwell got up and decided to retry but this time being more patient, as he slowly looked at Hiro. Hiro nodded at him. 'He seems to have understood…' he thought.

He continues his attack as Hiro succinctly dodges them. Hiro was extremely fast, he seemed to know every attack that Maxwell would put.

–Hours later

Maxwell even in his monster form felt a little tired "Damn…damn it…" he whisper. He looked up and saw the tireless cat who was looking at him with a amused look on his face.

Hiro: Don't get fed up kid, all this was just some type of warm-up.

He sat down on the floor, Maxwell looked at him and sighed, and he slowly turned back to his human form. He looked down at the floor as he walked to Hiro and sat down.

Hiro could see the disappointment in Maxwell. He didn't know why but he felt a tone of nostalgia when he saw Maxwell's feelings. He slowly put His paw into Maxwell's head "Hey there boy, no need to get so tense up, that was just beginning…"

Maxwell looks up and smiles at Hiro, "Thanks sensei…Is just…I never felt so powerful before…well, I was just a human…but this is the first time I felt like this."

Hiro nodded "That's the power of the bracelet, the more you use it, the more monster you use, the stronger you will become."

Maxwell nodded listening to Hiro's explanation "So…how did I do it?"

Hiro thought for a moment "Well…it was passable, not the best but you did good, you didn't manage to hit me but like I said, this was just a fresh start."

Maxwell sighed as he looked at his hand, getting strong was way harder than he thought, even if he had Wulmar who is extremely fast, it seemed like Hiro was way stronger. Suddenly the delinquent scratched Maxwell's head, he looked up and saw his smile of Hiro.

"Don't focus on your failures, learn from them." He said.

Maxwell's eyes lit up and he smiled, suddenly he felt something in his arm, it was Sensei Akuro as he was sitting in front of Maxwell "Hiro is right, I mean… I was the one who taught him all this." he said proudly

Hiro growled and rolled his eyes "Ya sure idiot cat… besides you being stubborn and stupid."

Akuro: Hmph…how rude, you are a cat as well…and as much as an idiot as me.

Maxwell looks at the two cats' banter, it seems like they are more rivals than friends. Maxwell chuckled as the two of them continued their fight. Strangely, Maxwell felt at home.
