The day after the destruction of the World Government.

The world was busy.

Dak had no idea what kind of turmoil was happening across the sea, but he was sure the world was definitely busy.

Because.

The Red Line had split.

Mariejois was destroyed.

The world couldn't not be busy.

Dak was confident that whether the world was in chaos today depended on the Pokémon Alliance.

Sure enough, Dak was woken up early in the morning by Smoochum.

"Smooch!" Smoochum stood by Dak's bedside, patting his shoulder with its little hand.

"Uh, is Bon calling me? Got it, I'll be right there," Dak said, understanding Smoochum's message perfectly, probably because they had been together for a while.

Smoochum nodded, jumped off the bed, and tumbled to the floor.

Dak sighed and, with practiced ease, reached down to scoop Smoochum up.

Too practiced.

He didn't want to be this skilled at such a thing.

Even before opening his eyes, Dak felt something lick his face.

That big tongue could only belong to one Pokémon.

"Lapras!" Dak reluctantly got out of bed.

One lick from Lapras instantly woke him up, as its tongue was very wet and cold.

"Lapras," Lapras greeted warmly, nodding its head.

"Got it," Dak said, washing up and getting dressed under Lapras's urging, then slowly walking out of the bedroom.

Lapras acted like a gentle nanny, just as it probably took care of its offspring in its own species.

Upon stepping out of his bedroom, Dak saw three different groups waiting for him.

Representing Fish-Man Island were Neptune, Jinbe, and the Right Minister.

Representing Germa were Judge, Reiju, and a secretary.

Representing the News Corporation was Morgans and two of his editorial staff.

Dak k had some guesses about the purposes of their visits but wasn't entirely certain.

No wonder Bon had felt the need to wake him up; usually, only significant issues would prompt Bon to call him out of his sleep.

"This isn't the place for a discussion. Come with me," Dak said, scratching his head, leading the group towards Pokémon Island.

Unlike before, the Pokémon Alliance now had its own base, so it made sense to conduct such discussions in the base's reception hall.

Besides, the height of the nursery wasn't suitable for Neptune, who was 11 meters tall, while the nursery's ceiling was only 10 meters high, making it uncomfortable for him.

The three groups exchanged glances, temporarily suppressing their thoughts.

Neptune and Judge were curious to see what the legendary Pokémon Island was like.

Morgans, on the other hand, intended to assess the current state of Pokémon Island. Based on his investigation, he had discovered that quite a few familiar faces had disappeared from Water 7 overnight.

About three minutes later.

Walking through the streets of Alliance City, looking at the still somewhat sparse shops on either side, the group was visibly stunned.

Feeling the sunshine from the sky and the breeze on their faces, they couldn't believe another world truly existed.

And this world belonged to the Pokémon Alliance.

They could clearly feel their powers being suppressed to a very minimal level, with Morgans almost losing the ability to maintain his bird form.

"How astonishing. Shirahoshi was right about everything," Neptune said, a large bubble floating around his waist—an essential tool for merfolk to move on land; otherwise, they would have to hop around.

"Indeed. This city seems to have started developing not long ago. The population isn't large, and many areas remain undeveloped," Jinbe observed, walking on land.

His eyes were filled with wonder at what he saw on Pokémon Island, a place he had never imagined.

As a fish-man, he could clearly feel that the people living in Alliance City were not hostile. Their gazes were more curious than disdainful or contemptuous.

This change was brought about by Pokémon and, of course, thanks to Dak's efforts.

The residents of Alliance City, or rather the people of Water 7, had seen many different types of Pokémon, developing a strong level of acceptance. Seeing Neptune and his group wasn't surprising.

The key factor was.

Dak was leading the way.

Those with a bit of insight knew these guests were with Dak, likely to discuss some matters, so naturally, they wouldn't cause trouble.

"The ruler of a world," Judge's eyes were filled with fervor.

He was a man with a high desire for power and prestige, dreaming of helping the Germa Kingdom reclaim the North Blue and constantly striving for this goal.

Initially, Judge didn't think much of Pokémon Island, but after witnessing its existence and everything within it, many ideas inevitably began to form in his mind.

Of course, he wasn't arrogant enough to think about seizing this world or anything like that.

Judge never intended to oppose the Pokémon Alliance because he knew Germa couldn't afford to provoke such a force.

He was merely considering how to gain a position on Pokémon Island through some trade-off.

Reiju, the 13-year-old girl, had no such ambitions. She was merely curious, admiring the people and Pokémon around her with a hint of envy.

She longed for such freedom.

And the companionship one could trust.

Everything about Pokémon Island seemed almost too good to be true for her.

As for Morgans.

He wasted no time, constantly clicking the shutter on his trusty camera to capture everything he saw.

He had guessed correctly; wherever the Pokémon Alliance was, there would be headline news.

He understood the concept of 'traffic' all too well.

Walking at the front, Dak observed the group's reactions. He had deliberately led them from the center of Alliance City towards the Alliance Base.

He wanted these people to see the development of Alliance City.

After all, Dak had his plans for the three individuals behind him, hoping to extract something valuable from them.

When they reached the long bridge leading to the front of the Alliance Base, the group was once again taken aback.

The most excited was undoubtedly Neptune.

He seemed to have found a suitable place for the residents of Fish-Man Island. This must be the vast sea area Shirahoshi had mentioned, and it indeed looked large enough for the Fish-Man Island population.

"King Neptune seems to like this sea?" Dak asked, noticing Neptune nodding and smiling.

"Yes," Neptune openly admitted, not hiding his thoughts.

This caused Judge and Morgans to glance at Neptune. Considering the current state of Fish-Man Island, they could guess Neptune's purpose for coming.

Dak, however, did not continue the conversation.

He did have the idea of relocating all of Fish-Man Island to become a city on Pokémon Island, but he wouldn't bring it up himself.

He would wait for Neptune to propose it.

That way, Dak could set more conditions.

The three groups followed Dak into a building deep within the Alliance Base, where Robin had prepared everything.

A large conference table and milk coffee were ready.

The milk coffee was made from Moo Moo Milk and cocoa beans from the Pokémon world, a unique beverage not found in the pirate world.

"Now, tell me your purposes for coming here. Morgans, why don't you start?" Dak opened the discussion, addressing Morgans.

He guessed Morgans came to ask about the Red Line splitting incident, thinking it related to the Pokémon Alliance.

That's why he let Morgans speak first.

To show Neptune and Judge the power and dominance of the Pokémon Alliance, prompting them to carefully consider their next words.

"Alliance Leader, my subordinates reported that the Red Line split a few days ago, and they saw many World Government members' bodies floating in the sea," Morgans cautiously asked.

"Yes, that's correct. Our Pokémon Alliance did it. You must have seen the recent World Government bounties and notices.

While our alliance doesn't seek trouble, we don't fear it either. So, we took action and destroyed Mariejois yesterday. However, Giratina might have gone a bit overboard and accidentally cracked the Red Line," Dark said nonchalantly, his words causing everyone present to gulp, "But this is good news for you, right? It'll be less troublesome to reach the New World from now on."

"Alliance Leader is wise and mighty!" Morgans immediately stood up and applauded, knowing how to read the room.

"Mariejois?!" Neptune's eyes widened, looking at Dak as if to confirm something, but he didn't dare mention the word in front of the others.

"And the Celestial Dragons?!" Jinbe, lacking the same restraint, asked directly, having not yet learned to think as deeply as Fisher Tiger.

Judge and Morgans couldn't help but raise their eyebrows. They had thought about this question but hadn't dared to ask. Jinbe's inquiry, however, was beneficial to them.

If they could get the information from Dak, they wouldn't have to risk angering the World Government by investigating.

"The Celestial Dragons? Let me think. There should be about a dozen left. Not many," Dak replied casually.

"..." The room seemed to freeze.

Everyone, including Neptune and Judge, broke out in a cold sweat, their pupils trembling.

What were they about to say?

Damn, they forgot!
