Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Bad Dates

Chapter 3: Bad Dates

Thinking she was about to get attacked, she became at alert but then she saw that it was a fellow omega and relaxed wondering why she was even there.

"Shhh!" Stella said to her and entered her room closing the door after they entered.

"What are you doing here Stella?" Emily couldn't help but ask.

Stella then opened her zipped pocket in her clothes and brought out a nylon filled with good food. She took the clean plate she saw by the side of Emily's bed and poured the food inside.

"Let's eat together. I am sure this will be enough for us." Stella told her and Emily froze.

"You mean you brought this food for you and me? Isn't it supposed to be yours? What would you eat if we ate this." she asked her in concern.

"Are you worried about me? Why would you even be worried about me? Okay! I heard the Alpha asked you not to touch any food and that's why I am here. You are alive and have to eat okay." she told her and urged her to eat well. After eating, Stella sneakily left her room without anyone catching her.

Red Moon Pack

"Alpha Drake, you are going to be clocking twenty-eight in a few days. Do you need me to make arrangements on your behalf?" Beta Ryan asked competently as he stood respectfully at the front of his Alpha.

Alpha Drake waved at him, giving him the signal that he should let him be for a while.

He was a bit pissed as he looked at himself in the mirror at his front. He has the urge to reflect on his very being as he recalls what happened the night before. He has agreed to go on a date just like his father had queried and arranged for him. He got to the restaurant that was booked and he waited like a gentleman for the she-wolf to appear. It took ages but finally, she had made an appearance. He ensured she was being served well even though he could already tell that he had no connection to her at all. The strange thing was that just like every other shewolf he had gone on a date with, this particular one just couldn't look him in the eyes to speak to him.

At first, he thought he had done something wrong or his security had harassed her but after his investigation, he found out that she was only scared of his aura.

He swore to himself that he was less dressed than he used to be but that shit didn't itself from happening to him yet again.

After the last date, he promised himself that he wasn't going to let anyone or any she-wolf influence how he carried himself. He believed that the right shewolf for him would locate him and they would be a perfect match.

He felt his table buzzed and he looked down. His phone was ringing and it was his father. He knew what it meant so he adjusted his hair and suit and stood up, leaving the room with grace.

Beta Ryan saw his Alpha walking out of the mansion and towards his garage. He knew what to do and quickly ran to the front seat of the car and drove off immediately Alpha Drake got balanced.

"My father's house," he said to his beta, and Beta Ryan understood and drove to the palace of the current Alpha of Red Moon Pack.

Immediately he got into his father's garage, he stepped down from the car, and walked into the house. He met some omegas at the four that were there to welcome him.

"Where is my father," he asked them.

"He is in his study room." one of them replied him and he rushed up to his father's study room.

Alpha Richard was already getting pissed that he had no choice but to go through documents that he wasn't really interested in going through. He cursed at the papers that scattered all over the table as he stood up and started arranging them. Maybe if his son had at least found a mate, he would not have to go through all this unnecessary stress.

"You are going to have to take things easy you know that right?" Alpha Drake said with one hand in his pocket as he walked in gently and smirked having to see his father get pissed at some documents that wouldn't stop flying around.

He then bent down and helped him pick up some of them while he handled the rest. He went through some of the documents and his father sorted some parts of it.

"This is one of the reasons I can't wait to assist you get a luna. You can't rule without a mate. I am tired of having to read documents I don't want to read. It is really frustrating." Alpha Richard muttered and sat leaving the papers to do all they wanted.

Alpha Drake chuckled at his father's reaction and closed down all of the files. "I saw your call and assumed you needed to see me," he said to him.

"Isn't it obvious? You are right though. How was the date yesterday?" he asked his son.

"Unsuccessful!" he answered and saw the disappointment that appeared on his father's face.

"It's fate, not me."

"I am not sad you couldn't get her to be your mate. I expected it. I had always expected your dates to fail. It doesn't surprise me. And you are right. Fate has a lot in stuck for you my son. I guess I will have to let the will of the moon goddess come to pass." Alpha Richard said to his son as he got lost in his thoughts.

"what do you mean father? Is there anything I need to know?" he asked his father. He had noticed some weird things when it had to do with him going on different dates trying to get a mate.
