With a long bang sound , Sian , our female protagonist fell on something. It was hard and not pleasant to sit on.
With a groan she got up , looking back to see it was a pile of broken wood , her hands were scratched by it and now were bleeding.
For a second she had to process her thoughts together because of the bright light she had seen before.
It was so bright that she felt like she'd go blind by it.
Looking here and there , a scene of a very unfamiliar place came into picture, it felt like she was in a movie that she had seen before .
Everyone who passed by her, were staring at her, old people were mumbling about how indecent younger's are these days while mothers of some kids were telling them not to stare or point fingers at her .
Everything like every single thing was weird to her and to the people looking at her.
Then suddenly she heard some people running toward her calling her name .
" Madam Yi Sian !!! " One was a little younger boy and on the other side was another young girl but older than the boy .
They came toward her huffing for air .
" Huff Huff , miss what are you doing here , we were searching for you everywhere . And-- omg are you hurt !! "The girl said that while hurriedly going to her side and ripping her clothes to use as a bandage .
The younger boy was also panicked by seeing the wound so he went to her side to help her stand up .
The girl wrapped Sian's wound carefully and noticed the black leather bag beside her .
" Miss, is this bag yours? "
While saying that she held the bag pointing toward her .
Sian, who didn't speak until now, was processing her thoughts, these people , her background and the book's magical appearance. She was not an inexperienced person in this field . In fact , when she was little she always had a plan prepared for when she transmigrated to another world, what she would do and what she should prepare.
Always going outside with her backpack filled with her important things .
She would have been very excited if she was a kid but now she was 19 yrs old, she had a lot of things to do and being transmigrated was not a thing that came to her mind .
But one thing she was sure about is that she has transmigrated in her little sister's favourite novel.
And how she knew, that was simple . 'Yi Sian' was a character in the novel . She often got teased by her sister for this . Her name and this character name had Sian in it .
There was not much about 'Yi Sian ' in the book . Yi Sian was the daughter of a governor official who had a lower post . Aside from her, she had three older brothers, two older sisters and two younger ones . She was the daughter of a concubine which was not favoured by her father. So no one paid too much attention to her , her skills were below average and she was not a beauty .
Most people ignored her the same way as her father . When her father got assigned into a higher position he shifted into the capital with everyone into a bigger house leaving behind Yi Sian and her two servants , who later went away to their hometown.
She was left alone . The main role in the book was to let Main leads stay in her house , to save them from trouble.
Aside from there being side characters too , she hosted all of them for a while .
After that there was nothing mentioned about her .
Looking at these servants calling her by that name , she thought that she might have transmigrated as a 'Yi Sian ' character.
Sian broke the silence when the young girl touched her bag .
" Don't touch that!!" she said that quite loudly.
Both the servants were now looking at her with disbelief.
Sensing the atmosphere she quickly added, " i-i mean don't touch it because in it I caught a dangerous u-uh S-Snake , yeah a snake ."
"Ahh , what the-- " the young servant quickly threw the bag from her hand with a yelp and took some steps away .
Sian quickly caught the bag .
The younger boy added , " But miss , why did you catch a snake ? Don't you hate these things ."
Sian , trying to keep her calmness alive quickly added " I-Its because I wanted to do some research, i-i r-read it somewhere in the book so i wanted to try this ."
" But miss , didn't you run away because you were sad about the decision your father made to punish you?" The girl servant said while erasing the trace of goosebumps she got .
" T-that , u-hh i-i w-was but I thought that I shouldn't let these little things get in the way of my life. Look at me , I am not a kid anymore , that's why I thought , let the past begin and let's try something new . That's when I saw this bag and caught a snake . "
" But, what would you do with it ? " the younger boy asked , looking curious.
" That you will know later ." Sian quickly added " Well , why don't we return back , look at all the people who are staring at us ."
" Ok let's go , Miss, do you need help? " The younger boy offered,even though he might not be able to lift her .
Sian smiled , patting his head, " No, I am fine ."
" Okk"
Yi Sian had a close relationship with these two siblings. They were assigned to her at a young age so they gradually became friends.
Walking in a slow pack because of her injuries , she looked around her surroundings.
People were wearing traditional dress , you can see streets blooming with small and big businesses.
Sian was in those clothes too , but she had her bag with her which she was glad about .
Her bag was made for her to carry her things during missions. Weapons, gadgets and documents had many useful things in it and It was comfortable to carry with them .
Then the younger boy said , " Miss , you must take care of yourself even when we are not with you. Look at how much you got hurt , I don't like seeing you injured."
" Sorry , I got careless. "
Now that she looked at her clothes , they were dusty and scratched all over . She has no idea how she fell on those piles of wood .
Nothing was mentioned in the story either .
Sian thought there might be two possibilities, first , she was being chased after or second might be that she was careless.
Whatever the reason may be , she was hurting all over .
Her legs , arms and back were throbbing and cuts were hurting.
Sian thought that she didn't deserve this , if she were to transmigrate at least let it be side characters but why such a noob character with such a short entry .
Though this character is not bad either but these wounds were .
In the story , Yi Sian was not an extroverted type so it was easy for her to get into it without any suspicion and acting about forgetting everything.
As their walk went by , she arrived at her destination. The house of the Yi family, as the siblings mentioned Yi Sian's father , she quickly knew that the story time was before the character started living alone .
And that means now she has to face the Yi Sian family, which is a big problem.
Yi Sian didn't have a great relationship with them , everyday bullying, being ignored and of course , the punishment she suffers from the father because of her siblings.
Sian really wanted to run away from there, she likes a peaceful life way more than these soap operas .
