Chapter 36 - Or Do You Need Help?

[KIYOMI]

Life for Kiyomi had been simple before Sakura Watanabe, and now with Saki in it, she wasn't sure if she missed her previous life or if she wanted the thrill of being caught up in the crazies that came with the woman she had fallen for.

She was ready to do whatever it took to prove to Saki that she didn't love her, but there was only so much Kiyomi could do before she eventually, no? Or maybe this was a fight that would never end for her, but was that what she wanted?

"Why are you really here, Sakura? Are there no lives that you could fuck up that you decided to show up in this goddamn place two months later? Or did you decide to come for the pet you forced a contract marriage on?

"How do you want me? Bent? Straightened? Naked? Clothed? Leaking? Dry? Any preferences, Your Highness?" Kiyomi asked, her voice getting angrier with the second like she hated this, or maybe she really did.

She hated that there was a possibility that there was never going to be anything more between her and the mad woman who kept fucking with her life. She despised that reality and yet at the same time, she wished she could rely on it. Was it possible though?

While Kiyomi was trying to rile up Sakura, the Lycan queen was alert and readying herself for anything that could happen. It was like she already knew that Bogdan Lycan would send more people to try and neutralize Kiyomi.

Sakura wouldn't let that happen, she knew it and with every word that came off of her Erasthai's lips, she was certain about it, she would be damned before she let anyone lay hands on her again, but she wasn't going to let her know that.

"How about a strip show? You have been going to the clubs for attention. Now that I'm here, perhaps a private strip show would be nice. Let me see what you were so desperate to showcase to people in the club, petal," Sakura said even though she was cringing at herself.

She wanted to tell Kiyomi that she would always be safe and that Sakura wasn't going anywhere. She wanted to tell Kiyomi that she was the one person that no one would ever hurt, as long as Sakura lived, but she couldn't.

She couldn't be that open with Kiyomi, because frankly, Sakura wasn't sure of what her life with Kiyomi would be like, if she didn't rile the woman up or make her want to feel like killing her. It was not exactly fun for her, but she had to do it, no?

"A strip show?" Kiyomi asked, humiliation written all over her face. She couldn't believe she had mourned her love for this woman. She had gone through enough shit because of her and Sakura was looking at her like that?

What the fuck did Sakura even think of her? It was confusing for Kiyomi, and she wanted to scream at Sakura. She wanted to make the women understand her pain, but even then, she wasn't sure Sakura Watanabe was capable of emotions.

That was a possible reality, but who was to tell the good doctor that this psycho would do whatever it took to make sure she was happy? That she didn't have trouble with her world and that the Lycans hunting her would be dead if they touched her again?

"Yeah. Isn't that what people go to watch in clubs? You have a perfect silhouette, the mounds on your chest are perfect for a show, and you smell so damn good, it would take a bastard not to like you.

"So yeah, a good strip show from a hot stuff like you would make my day better, while we wait for your killers," Sakura said carelessly.

Kiyomi let out a laugh at that, instead of reacting like Sakura had expected, and that got the wild woman wondering what in the world was wrong with her erasthai. Had the good doctor lost her mind? Damn, that would be a shame, no?

"Is this how you start your show?" Sakura asked, but Kiyomi simply walked over to her, a smile on her face as if she had truly gone bonkers. Perhaps she had.

Or maybe staying around Sakura had gotten her to the point that she wasn't sure what the hell she needed to even do anymore because this wild woman was insanity humanized, right?

"Thank you for the petals, Saki... I loved them. And your dress is beautiful, with or without the blood stains," Kiyomi complimented in earnest as she looked at the wild psycho in her presence.

"You're crazy," Sakura said as she stepped back from Kiyomi. She wasn't sure what the fuck she needed to do and she wanted to make Kiyomi hate her even more. However, a part of her was curious to see what would happen to the both of them.

"I missed you too, so much. I… I couldn't breathe without you. My life was empty and lonely without you. We may be terrible for each other, but you kept me going, and I'm sorry about the club earlier. I didn't mean to blurt it out like that.

"I was just desperate. I wanted to see you so badly and be with you that maybe I might have done things that I never would have done on a normal day. And you coming to find me means everything to me, Saki; so, thank you," Kiyomi said as she walked to Sakura.

The wild queen was adamant about her extension from Kiyomi that she hadn't even realized that she was against the wall, something that Sakura Watanabe wouldn't even be caught doing on a normal day.

"I don't care. You can do whatever you want. My work here is done either way. If you want to be smacked by the Lycans, that's your call. I won't be here waiting for you," Sakura said and Kiyomi just smiled at her, again.

Sakura was defiant, just like Kiyomi and the goddess must have been high on shit by pairing them together, because that was either the craziest thing she had done, or the goddess wanted to see how the world could hold the two, no?

"We don't always have to fight, Saki. It's tiring, and frankly, you coming here to check on me doesn't make you a soft queen or someone who can be manipulated. You know that, right?" Kiyomi said as she unshackled herself, with ease.

Sakura didn't mind the chains falling off of her erasthai, because she knew Kiyomi wouldn't be held by those chains. As long as her Kiyomi was alive, as long as her petal was her erasthai and hers to protect nothing would hold her back.

"You could have done that earlier with the chains and Lycans who came for you, and saved yourself yet you don't. You let them have you as a weak one, which isn't nice, you know that too, yeah?" Sakura asked as she looked everywhere but at Kiyomi.

It was almost like she didn't want to see her and at the same time, she wanted to see her.

Poor thing.

"Yeah… I could have," Kiyomi breathed, and Sakura stared at her like this woman was insane. She should have saved herself from the madness and gotten away and she stayed for something?

"What?"

"Then again, if I saved myself, I wouldn't have gotten the pleasure of watching you kill them on my behalf like they hadn't touched your precious one. You even ruined your pretty dress while at it, Saki," Kiyomi whispered in Sakura's face.

The queen was sure her erasthai had lost her mind. The good doctor she knew was never one to do this, but did Sakura even know her erasthai that well, or was this just some game for them?

"You're crazy," Sakura said, making Kiyomi let out a soft chuckle. It is like everything was normal for the both of them and they hadn't had the craziest of days, perhaps that was how the days were meant to be or this just was them being them?

"Well, it's your fault. I went crazy missing you, yearning for you, looking for you in everyone. I did shit that was meant to get you to come back, but you didn't. You abandoned me like I didn't matter, Saki. Was it fun?" Kiyomi asked honestly as she stared into those daring eyes.

"Maybe…"

"For a terrible liar, you sure are hot as hell."

"You—"

"Need you… now. "

"What?"

"Strip, Saki," Kiyomi commanded.

"What?"

"You heard me… or do you need help?"
