How can one ask forgiveness,
For something they had done?
If these words only drown you
The truth be told--
And it might sound cold
Saying sorry just makes things worse;
If it's said dishonestly!
How do one beg for mercy?
If the mere though rips you apart
Forgive and forget
Isn't that what your elders say?
Giving way to both is almost impossible to do,
When actions drills holes through the heart.
Sorry is just a word on every pair lips
A synchronized saying;
That nobody understands
Yet we use it so often without any meaning.
