Chapter 48 - Tartarus

After Cha Yeon Woo selected his treasure, he entered the 11th floor, where he had to nurture an egg. But with the Azure Clan and the Red Dragon Clan making chaos in the tower, it wasn't going to be easy. So, for now, he decided to focus on growing the egg and testing the power of the Black King, gradually getting used to it.

Meanwhile, Theo entered the 30th floor, completely unbothered by anyone. Even Persephone, though she couldn't do anything because theo is powerfull she didnt make him enemies of olympians. After all, Hermes had informed the Olympians about Theo, and they had seen him emerge from the shadow of ten million powerful soldiers. If what Theo said was true, that number was small for him, which was enough to terrify all the gods.

So, when Theo reached the 30th floor, Persephone didn't interfere; she merely observed the events.

Theo immediately approached the bronze gate, which led to Tartarus. He was here for one thing: to read Hades' memory and recreate Kynee to give it as a gift to Cha Yeon Woo. This might seem like an excessive gift, but after helping him complete the set, Theo planned to absorb the demonic within Cha Yeon Woo. Thus, by completing the set, he would be able to absorb him, there by gaining the power of the Black King.

Theo opened the door and began to ascend a steep path on a mountain. Then he heard a voice.

?????: "What are you doing here, god?"

Theo's eyes widened as he realized that what he was walking on was not a mountain but the back of a titan. The titan was enormous and seemed to be resting here. Theo felt a surge of excitement because now he wanted to fight and devour the titan.

Theo didn't say anything. Instead, he retrieved a weapon perfectly suited for this task from his inventory.

[name: Blade of Olympus]

[type: Blade]

[note: Immeasurable!!!!]

[description: Contains the energy of Zeus and Kratos (from god of war), and was used by Zeus in the Titanomachia against his father and his titan army.]

Theo didn't say much. He grabbed the blade and place the Blade of Chaos to his back for additional utility. Theo could have easily devoured the titan right away, but he hadn't fought in a long time, and the titan would be a good punching bag.

Theo remained silent and began to climb. The titan, in the meantime, tried to rise from its prone position. Theo increased his speed and managed to climb up to its nape. He then took out the Blade of Chaos, used its chains to reach the highest point of the titan's head, and plunged it into the center of his head. The titan roared in pain.

Titan: "Damn you, insect! Stay still. You won't get away with this. Lord Typhon will avenge me."

Theo didn't bother responding. He used the chains to descend and wrap the titan's entire body, binding its hands and feet securely. Then Theo jumped down and, drawing power from the ground Theo delivered a flying kick to its chest, and the titan fell in to ground.

Theo now drew the Blade of Olympus for the first time. He stood in the forhead of the titan's , smiling like crazy bastard.

Theo: "Hahahahahhahaa, how does it feel to be humiliated by an insect?"

Titan: "I will never stop pursuing you even after dead. I have informed Lord Typhon about you via telepathy. He will do everything to kill you."

Theo: "Oh, he will kill me? how?"

Titan: "He has many followers. You don't stand a chance against him."

Theo: "I've seen a few. I'll send they corpes to his doorstep with special delivery service."

Theo then stopped talking and injected energy from the heavens into the Blade of Olympus. The surroundings filled with lightning, all converging on the sword like serpents. Theo, using his power, thrust the sword into the center of the titan's forehead.

The titan died in excruciating pain, and Theo absorbed its negative emotions. He also amplified its pain using his ability to increase agony, a much stronger version than what he gave Cha Yeon Woo. Now the titan was dead in extreme agony. Theo extracted 10 liters of blood from the corpse to send to Cha Yeon Woo later.

Theo then devoured the remaining titan, now containing its blood within himself. Currently, Theo possessed the pure blood of a demon and a god, and now he needed the pure blood of a titan. And who better than Typhon, the titan lord, for his next meal?

Theo continued his work, seeing some observers from a distance, but he didn't care. He effortlessly killed any titans in his path. His precise spear controlled by telekinesis pierced the foreheads of the titans before him. Theo didn't dwell on it, consuming everything except their heads. Some titans were composed of fire, some of lightning, and other elements.

Theo took the heads of the devoured titans and created wooden stakes, each 100 meters tall, corresponding to the number of titans he killed. He placed the heads of twenty titans killed by him on these stakes, this a great humiliation to the enemy.

From afar, Dis pluto observed Theo. Considering how Theo had slain all the titans before him, Dis pluto thought he might be a useful ally. Who knows, maybe he could help Lord Hades?
