Chapter 213 - Chapter 166:The Convergence (1)

Somewhere on Another Universe Planet

Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Rocket the Raccoon, Groot, and Agent Phil Coulson found themselves in a frantic escape from the relentless pursuit of Sakaaran Mercenaries. The mercenaries, led by Loko the Bald Man, were hot on their trail, firing shots and closing in fast.

Agent Phil Coulson, keeping pace with the group, fired back at their pursuers. "Shit, they're still chasing us!"

Peter Quill glanced over his shoulder, his expression tense with urgency. "We need to run faster and avoid their attacks at all costs!"

Rocket the Raccoon, ever confident in his abilities, declared, "Don't worry, I got this!" He launched a missile towards the Sakaaran Mercenaries, causing chaos and casualties among their ranks.

The mercenaries screamed in pain and fury, some falling to the ground as explosions rocked the battlefield.

"Loko, the leader and commander of his comrades, bellowed, 'Chase them down!'"

His comrades echoed his sentiment with determined shouts of agreement, their pursuit intensifying.

Peter Quill turned to Rocket with a mix of gratitude and sarcastic. "Rocket, thanks for blowing up so many of them, but you've also made them angrier and more determined to kill us."

Rocket gulped nervously, realizing the gravity of the situation.

Gamora shook her head disapprovingly, her focus on keeping up with the group's pace.

Drax, panting heavily but ready for combat, growled, "We are too tired to fight so many."

Phil Coulson nodded in agreement. "He's right. We can't take them all on."

Peter Quill weighed their options quickly. "That's why I'm suggesting... we run as fast as we can!"

With renewed determination, the group pushed forward, their footsteps pounding against the rugged terrain as they sprinted away from the pursuing mercenaries. The sound of gunfire and shouts echoed behind them, urging them to move faster.

As they ran, Peter Quill glanced back once more, his mind racing with thoughts of survival and escape. The convergence of events had led them into this dangerous situation, and now their only hope was to outrun their relentless pursuers and find a way to turn the tide in their favor.

....

Meanwhile, on a desolate and barren planet, Ronan the Accuser and Nebula stood amidst the rugged terrain, frustration evident on their faces as they searched for any trace of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

"It looks like they're not here, Nebula," Ronan said, sounding annoyed that their targets were nowhere to be found.

Nebula, arms crossed and eyes scanning the horizon, nodded in agreement. "Those pests. Where did they go?"

Just as they were pondering their next move, a sleek, intimidating spaceship descended from the sky, stirring up clouds of dust as it landed precisely before them. The hatch opened gradually, revealing Korath the Pursuer, who stepped out and promptly saluted Ronan and Nebula.

"Sir, Ma'am," Korath said formally, "we've located the ones who stole the power stone on another planet."

Ronan's eyes narrowed with interest. "Really?"

Korath affirmed with a nod. "Yes, we're currently chasing them down."

Nebula's expression turned stern. "So, what are we waiting for? Let's go and capture them!"

With determined steps, Ronan, Nebula, and Korath boarded their spaceship. The engines roared to life as they lifted off from the barren planet's surface. Their goal was straightforward: find the Guardians of the Galaxy and retrieve the stolen power stone by any means necessary.

As their ship soared into the vast darkness of space, their pursuit began in earnest. They were resolute and unwavering in their determination to face down their enemies and reclaim what was rightfully theirs.

....

[Michael Wilson POV]

As Michael Wilson, aka the legendary Spider-Man, I stood alongside Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man Red, Mark Taylor, aka Nightwing, Mark's wife Emily Taylor, aka Lady Vamp, and Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Jemma Simmons. We had just arrived in another universe to aid the Guardians of the Galaxy and Phil Coulson. The environment was starkly different from our own—an alien landscape that was both intriguing and daunting.

Peter looked at me with amazement, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Man, can you believe it?" he exclaimed, unable to contain his enthusiasm.

I chuckled at his wide-eyed wonder. "You're really happy, huh, Spider-Man Red?"

Peter nodded vigorously. "I mean, are you kidding me? We are in another universe! This place..." He gestured broadly at the surrounding alien terrain. "This is another universe, Captain. I mean, look at this... wow!"

I looked at the planet, which seemed like it had been attacked recently. Peter, however, saw it as something amazing. Who wouldn't, right? Peter is still 15 years old and a total nerd, so I kind of expected him to react like Bill Nye the Science Guy discovering something new.

Mark Taylor, aka Nightwing, then looked at me with concern etched across his face. "Spider-Man, what are we going to do now? This place..." He glanced around at the chaos and devastation. "There are people dying here, and there's no sign of those Guardians of something or Agent Phil Coulson."

Jemma Simmons, ever the professional despite the circumstances, interjected, "Actually, it's the Guardians of the Galaxy."

We all turned to look at her, momentarily distracted by the correction.

Jemma chuckled nervously. "Just saying, hehehe. Continue your conversation."

I sighed, acknowledging the gravity of our situation, and turned back to the group. "Jemma, do you have any means to track them?"

Jemma looked apologetic as she shook her head. "I don't have something like that, sir... sorry."

I gave her a reassuring smile. "It's okay. And don't call me 'sir.' Just call me Spider-Man."

Peter Parker chimed in, trying to lighten the mood. "And call me Red, or Spider-Man Red, or Red Spider-Man. Whatever you want."

Jemma nodded, still looking a bit flustered. "O-okay."

I took another look around, assessing our surroundings. The battlefield was chaotic, with sporadic explosions and the cries of those caught in the crossfire. Smoke and debris filled the air, making it difficult to see far ahead. We needed a plan to find the Guardians and Phil Coulson.

I mentally queried the Spider-Man System for an update on my status.

"System, show me my status," I commanded.

"Affirmative, host. Initiating... ding," the system responded.

A translucent window materialized before me, displaying the following information:

I examined my status with a sense of satisfaction, marveling at how strong I had become and the points I had accumulated over time.

Turning my focus back to the Spider-Man System, I gave another command. "System, find me a device that can track people using their footprints or even a strand of their hair. It needs to be subtle but effective."

"Affirmative, host. Initiating... ding," the system confirmed.

A holographic image materialized before me, detailing the See Tracker device:

See Tracker:

A handheld device that tracks individuals using their footsteps or a strand of their hair, etc.... Guiding the user with glowing spectral cues directly to the target.

Price: 2 million points

With everything in place, I nodded in approval, ready to utilize this new tool in our mission ahead.

After that The device appeared in my hand after I bought it.

With the See Tracker device firmly in my hand, I addressed the team with a determined expression. "Alright, team," I began, looking at each of them in turn—Peter Parker, Mark Taylor, Emily Taylor, and Jemma Simmons. "We have a tool to help us find the Guardians and Phil. Let's move quickly and stay alert."

Mark glanced at me with a hint of admiration mixed with envy. "Damn, every time you use that power to summon things out of thin air, like a pocket dimension or something, it makes me feel a little jealous again."

Emily chimed in playfully, nudging Mark with her elbow. "Yeah, if I had that power, I could have put all my shopping in there, right, babe?"

Peter grinned widely, looking at me with admiration. "Right, my teacher is amazing."

Jemma, still processing the new information, looked bewildered. "Power? Summoning things out of thin air? What are you talking about?"

Peter jumped in eagerly to explain. "Oh, you didn't know? Captain can summon something out of thin air. It's like an inventory where he stores things in another dimension."

Jemma's eyes widened in surprise. "Wh-what? That's incredible!"

I chuckled softly, trying to refocus their attention. "Come on, team. We don't have time for this. Let's use the See Tracker and find our allies."

With that, we activated the See Tracker device and followed its glowing spectral cues through the chaotic battlefield. Our mission to locate the Guardians of the Galaxy and Phil Coulson was now fueled by renewed determination and the assistance of this advanced technology. As we navigated the tumultuous landscape, I kept our team focused, ready to provide support and assistance wherever needed.

....

Meanwhile

Peter Quill, still catching his breath, stood alongside his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy: Rocket the Raccoon, Drax the Destroyer, Groot, Gamora, and Agent Phil Coulson from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Rocket's frustration was palpable as he glared at Phil. "Where is she? How long do we have to wait?"

Phil, also winded from the chase, replied between breaths, "I don't know, but she might be here soon. I'm sure of it."

Peter Quill, growing impatient, interjected, "She's late! We need backup as soon as possible. We can't just stay here and hide forever."

Rocket shot back with his trademark sarcasm, "If it weren't for your stubbornness, we could have gained more backup by now. You and your ego, thinking you can handle this all so easily, blah, blah..."

Peter Quill clenched his fists, his frustration boiling over. "You're one to talk, Rocket! Always quick to point fingers but never to come up with a real plan!"

Gamora, ever the voice of reason, stepped in firmly. "Enough!"

Her authoritative tone caused both Peter and Rocket to cease their bickering immediately. They exchanged glares but remained silent.

Turning to Phil Coulson, Gamora continued, her voice steady and composed despite the tension. "We can't afford to wait for them to overwhelm us. We need to strategize before reinforcements arrive."

Groot, standing quietly beside Rocket, gently patted his friend's shoulder, a silent gesture of support. "I am Groot," he murmured reassuringly.

Everyone nodded in agreement, acknowledging the urgency of their situation. The battlefield around them remained tumultuous, with explosions echoing in the distance and the threat of pursuit ever looming.

Together, they huddled closer, their minds racing with possibilities as they prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead. Each member of the group brought their unique skills and perspectives, united in their goal to protect the power stone and evade the relentless pursuit of Ronan and his forces.

The silence that followed was filled with unspoken determination and the unshakable resolve to overcome the odds stacked against them.

With a renewed sense of urgency, the group moved swiftly across the rocky terrain, seeking refuge and planning their next move. Each step was fraught with tension and uncertainty, but their determination to survive and protect one another kept them moving forward.

....

Meanwhile

Loko, the leader of the Sakaaran Mercenaries, scanned the rough landscape with a determined expression. His soldiers spread out, searching every corner for any sign of their targets.

"Search everywhere," Loko commanded firmly. "They can't have gone far."

His soldiers obeyed without question, moving quickly and quietly, ready to react to any sign of movement. Each step they took was deliberate, eyes sharp for any clue that might reveal where their quarry had hidden.

As the search continued, Loko's resolve only strengthened. He knew the stakes were high; failure was not an option. His pride and reputation as a formidable commander were on the line. More importantly, capturing or eliminating their targets meant securing favor with their boss and advancing their own goals

"I won't rest until they're found," Loko muttered under his breath, his expression a mix of determination and grim satisfaction. "I'll either kill them or meet my end trying."

With a determined glare, Loko led his mercenaries deeper into the rugged terrain, fully focused on the task ahead. The chase was far from over, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, along with Phil Coulson, remained in grave danger as they sought refuge and waited for reinforcements.
