Chapter 206 - Chapter 162: Spider-Verse (12)

With adrenaline coursing through their veins, Peter B, Miles, and Spider-Gwen launched into action against Dr. Octopus. The tentacles lashed out with deadly precision, but the trio moved in perfect sync, dodging and weaving.

Peter B took the lead, using his agility and quick reflexes to stay one step ahead of Dr. Octopus's tentacles. He swung around her, aiming strategic web shots to distract and disarm. "Gwen, look out!" he shouted, alerting her to an incoming strike.

Spider-Gwen flipped over a tentacle, countering with swift kicks and punches. Her combat training and heightened senses allowed her to anticipate Dr. Octopus's moves, giving her an edge in the intense battle.

Meanwhile, Miles made full use of his newfound ability to turn invisible. He phased in and out of visibility with practiced ease, using the element of surprise to his advantage against Dr. Octopus.

"Can't catch what you can't see!" he taunted, his voice filled with determination as he darted around Dr. Octopus's flailing tentacles.

Invisible one moment, visible the next, Miles struck swiftly and precisely, landing punches and kicks on Dr. Octopus from unexpected angles. His movements were agile and unpredictable, keeping Dr. Octopus off balance as she struggled to anticipate his attacks.

Dr. Octopus, frustrated by Miles's elusive tactics, swung her tentacles furiously in an attempt to catch him. But each time she thought she had him cornered, Miles would vanish from sight, only to reappear elsewhere in the blink of an eye.

Dr. Octopus, unfazed by their synchronized tactics, escalated her assault. Her tentacles moved with blinding speed, creating a whirlwind of danger. "You can't run from me!" she shouted, her voice echoing with malicious glee.

Peter B glanced again at the unstable collider, its ominous hum growing louder. "We need to end this fast," he urged, his voice tense with urgency.

Miles nodded, his determination unwavering. "Got it," he replied, refocusing on the fight.

Spider-Gwen saw an opening and seized the opportunity. With a series of acrobatic maneuvers, she maneuvered closer to Dr. Octopus, delivering a powerful kick that sent the villain staggering backwards. "Take that!" she exclaimed, landing gracefully on the ground.

Dr. Octopus regained her balance, her eyes narrowing with fury. "You pests!" she spat, regrouping for another assault.

Peter B shot a glance at Miles and Spider-Gwen, their unspoken communication conveying their next moves. They circled Dr. Octopus, ready to strike from all angles. "Together," Peter B called out, his voice a rallying cry.

Peter B and Spider-Gwen coordinated seamlessly in their attack against Dr. Octopus. Peter B focused his strength on punching and disabling the tentacles that lashed out towards them, while Gwen skillfully targeted the others with precise strikes. Their combined efforts created openings in Dr. Octopus's defenses, forcing her to defend from multiple angles.

While, Miles activated his invisibility power, he became unseen to Dr. Octopus and her allies. With his heightened senses and newfound control over his abilities, he positioned himself strategically. Timing his move perfectly, Miles emerged from the invisibility cloak and delivered a powerful punch to Dr. Octopus's jawline.

The sudden strike caught Dr. Octopus off guard. She still hadn't anticipated an invisible assailant within her midst. The impact of Miles' blow was significant, causing Dr. Octopus to stagger backward, momentarily stunned by the unexpected attack. Her grip on her mechanical tentacles loosened momentarily.

The heroes saw their chance and acted together smoothly. Peter B, Spider-Gwen, and Miles teamed up, using their experience to target Dr. Octopus's weak spots. Every punch and kick they landed brought them closer to beating the villain.

...

Noir Side

Meanwhile, as Peter B, Miles, and Spider-Gwen engaged Dr. Octopus, Spider-Man Noir found himself locked in combat with Tombstone. The air crackled with tension as the two adversaries circled each other, each seeking an advantage on one another.

As Spider-Man Noir and Tombstone continued their intense duel, the air crackled with tension and the sound of blows echoing through their sides. Tombstone, a formidable guy, swung his fist towards Spider-Man Noir, aiming to catch him off guard. With a swift sidestep, Noir evaded the blow, his movements agile and precise.

"You're tougher huh," Tombstone growled, his voice low and gravelly.

Spider-Man Noir maintained his focus, his movements fluid and precise. "You haven't seen anything yet," he retorted

Then In a smooth and rapid sequence, Spider-Man Noir shifted into a series of quick kicks aimed at Tombstone's legs. His goal was clear: to destabilize Tombstone by targeting his stance. Tombstone winced as each blow landed, the strain evident on his face as he absorbed the impact.

Reacting swiftly, Tombstone swung back with a powerful backhand swipe, aiming to catch Spider-Man Noir off guard. With remarkable agility, Noir ducked under the incoming blow, moving with the grace and speed of a cat. This evasive maneuver allowed him to avoid the strike completely, maintaining his balance and readiness for the ongoing battle.

With a quick and forceful spinning kick, Spider-Man Noir aimed directly at Tombstone's chest. The impact was powerful enough to briefly stagger the crime mob, interrupting his attack and throwing him off balance.

"You know, I'm just playing around. I haven't even gone all out yet," Noir joked lightly, teasing Tombstone to provoke him further.

Infuriated, Tombstone charged at Spider-Man Noir, aiming to overpower him with sheer brute force. However, Noir skillfully dodged Tombstone's attacks by swiftly moving out of the way and using his agility to evade each blow.

"Is that all you've got? You gonna fight or just bump gums?" Noir taunted, his voice laced with confidence as he continued to evade Tombstone's onslaught.

This only heightened Tombstone's frustration, fueling his determination to land a decisive blow.

In a sudden burst of speed, Noir delivered a swift kick to Tombstone's midsection, followed by a powerful punch to his jawline. The impact reverberated through Tombstone's frame, staggering him backward. The crime mob grunted in pain, momentarily stunned by Noir's powerful punch. Follow up by many punch causing him even more pain.

These combination of blows proved too much for Tombstone to withstand. With a final, resounding strike, Noir delivered a decisive blow that sent Tombstone crashing to the ground, knocked out cold.

"You hard-boiled turtle slapper!" Noir exclaimed with a smirk

.....

Peter Porker, known as Spider-Ham, engaged in a fierce battle with the armed terrorists surrounding him. Using his agility and webs, he swiftly disarmed each one, rendering their firearms useless against him.

One of the terrorists, filled with rage, aimed his rifle directly at Porker. "'Die, you pig!'"

Without hesitation, Porker webbed the rifle out of his hands and swiftly covered the terrorist's mouth with his webbing.

"Watch your mouth, young man," Porker quipped with a smirk, emphasizing his warning.

With expert precision, Porker incapacitated the remaining terrorists with his webs, knocking them out cold. Amidst the chaos of battle, he couldn't help but reflect on his longing for home.

"I'm getting hot dogs after this fight," Porker sighed wistfully. "I miss my home already."

Just as Porker geared up for another round, another terrorist charged at him. Undeterred, Porker braced himself, ready to face them head-on.

"Let's do this! Beat them all!" Porker exclaimed with determination, his focus unwavering as he prepared for the next wave of adversaries.

.....

[Peni side]

Peni Parker piloted her SP//dr robot with expert precision, engaging in a fierce battle against the formidable Scorpion.

Scorpion sneered at her, his voice dripping with disdain. "La niña dentro de un robot debería llamar a alguien 'papá'." (A little girl inside some robot should call her 'Papa'.)

Peni, not understanding his words but catching his mocking tone, retorted in Japanese, "Nani o itteru no ka wakaranai, hage atama." (I don't understand what you're talking about, bald head.)

She launched a powerful punch with her SP//dr, but Scorpion evaded it effortlessly. "Die!" he snarled, lunging his tail at her.

Peni managed to defend herself, but a sudden glitch caused her to clutch her chest in agony, leaving her vulnerable. Scorpion seized the opportunity, his powerful attack breaking through SP//dr's chest armor. The damage fueled Peni's anger, her resolve hardening.

Just as Scorpion prepared to strike again, a voice cut through the chaos. "Hey!!"

Scorpion was suddenly hit by a cartoonish drawing hammer. Turning, he saw Peter Porker, aka Spider-Ham, standing defiantly.

"What are you, some kind of silly cartoon?" Scorpion chuckled, underestimating the pig-shaped hero.

"You got a problem with cartoons?" Peter Porker retorted.

Scorpion lunged his tail at Porker, who nimbly dodged and then hammered Scorpion on the head, causing cartoonish stars to spin around Scorpion's head.

Dazed, Scorpion began counting the stars, "Two... three..."

Suddenly, his tail was grabbed by Spider-Man Noir, who used his strength to hurl Scorpion towards Peni Parker. Seizing the moment, Peni grabbed her SP//dr's broken robot arm and used it to slap Scorpion hard, causing him to scream in pain.

"MAMA!" Scorpion shouted as he was hit by the giant arm, finally knocking him out cold.

Peter Porker jumped onto Spider-Man Noir's shoulder and looked down at the defeated Scorpion. "Aww... Did that feel like a cartoon? Bleh!" he mocked, sticking out his tongue in a playful yet triumphant gesture.

their side echoed with the sounds of battle, but for a moment, the trio had secured a small victory amidst the chaos. Their teamwork and resilience shone through, providing a brief respite in their relentless fight to stop the collider.

 ...

Meanwhile

[Michael Wilson]

The two adversaries squared off, each preparing for a clash that could alter the fate of the collider and the dimensions it threatened. Kingpin's powerful fists swung towards Michael, who agilely dodged, his movements fluid and precise.

"You're not getting away that easily," Kingpin growled, his frustration mounting as he missed his target.

Michael responded with a swift kick to Kingpin's side, but the massive crime lord barely flinched.

"You think that tickles?" Kingpin sneered, swinging back with even more force.

Michael dodged again, landing a punch to Kingpin's jaw. "I'm just getting started," he quipped, his confidence unwavering.

As they exchanged blows, the room shuddered with each impact, the collateral damage mounting. Sparks flew from damaged equipment, adding to the chaos.

Meanwhile, in the control room, the scientists continued their work, their fingers flying over keyboards as the collider's power levels surged. The tension was palpable, every second bringing them closer to the critical point.

Kingpin, noticing the rising power levels on a nearby screen, smirked through his struggle with Michael. "You're running out of time," he taunted, his voice laced with menace.

Michael, eyes blazing with determination, responded with a fierce uppercut. "Not if I can help it," he retorted, pushing Kingpin back.

With a sudden surge of strength, Michael flipped over Kingpin, landing behind him. He quickly webbed Kingpin's feet to the floor, temporarily immobilizing him. "Stay put, big guy," Michael said, his tone serious.

He sprinted towards the control panel, his mind racing to figure out how to stop the collider. But Kingpin, with his immense strength, ripped through the webs and charged at Michael.

"You pest! I won't let you!!!" Kingpin thundered.

Michael spun around just in time to see Kingpin's fist coming at him. He braced for impact, but then an idea struck him. He webbed the ceiling and pulled himself up, dodging the blow.

Swinging above Kingpin, Michael aimed a series of web shots at the control panel, hoping to disable it. Sparks flew as the webs hit the electronics.

Kingpin, realizing what Michael was trying to do, roared in fury. "No! You can't do this!"

Michael landed back on the ground, ready for the next round. "okay but only in your dreams," he said defiantly.

"You.....I won't let you strip away the family I've built!" Kingpin shouted, his rage palpable.

Michael's eyes narrowed. "Family? Or stealing another family?"

Kingpin's fury intensified. "What do you know?!"

"Oh, I know a lot about you, Wilson Fisk," Michael said calmly, his voice steady.

Kingpin lunged, swinging a massive fist, but Michael dodged effortlessly, countering with a powerful punch to Kingpin's jaw that forced him to kneel.

Michael continued, "Wilson Fisk, a tragic, sad big guy who killed his father because his father was abusive. He built his own family, but his evil actions terrified his wife. She left with their son, only to die in a car accident. That's the man you are, Wilson Fisk."

"Shut up!" Kingpin bellowed, launching another attack. Michael evaded and delivered a swift kick to Kingpin's chest, sending him backward.

Kingpin, stunned and kneeling, stared at Michael. "Who—who are you?"

Michael stood tall. "I am Spider-Man."

Kingpin, still in shock, screamed, "No, you are not!" He lunged again, but Michael easily dodged, delivering a decisive kick in his midsection that sent Kingpin crashing to the ground.

"Please, change, Wilson," Michael said, his voice softer. "For the sake of your family who died."

Michael turned towards the scientists, determined to stop the collider and send everyone back home. The room buzzed with tension as he approached the control panel.

"Stop what you're doing," Michael commanded, his voice firm.

The scientists, hesitant but fearful of the chaos, began the process of shutting down the collider. The machine's ominous hum started to quiet, the room filled with the sounds of a machinery.

Suddenly, Kingpin roared back to life, charging at Michael with renewed fury. "No! I won't let you!"

As Kingpin charged once more, his rage blinding him. Michael used his agility to his advantage, flipping over Kingpin and landing a powerful kick to his back, sending him sprawling.

As Kingpin struggled to rise, Michael took a deep breath. "This ends now, Wilson."

Then with one final, powerful punch, Michael knocked Kingpin out cold. The room fell silent, save for the hum of the collider winding down.

"It's over, Wilson," Michael said, his voice filled with finality.
