As they all suited up, I took charge, addressing them with a sense of purpose. "So, now that we're all suited up, the first thing we need to do is..." I glanced over at Peter B, prompting his attention.
Peter B, ever the skeptic, asked, "What?"
Leaning in, I homed in on the task ahead. "Do you happen to have an extra set of web shooters?" I asked, eyeing him closely.
Peter B hesitated, attempting to evade the question. "Nope, don't have any. None at all," he replied, a hint of defensiveness creeping into his tone.
My suspicion only grew as I maintained my gaze on him.
Sensing my skepticism, Peter B tried to divert the attention. "Hey, don't give me that look. Why don't you just give him a web shooter?"
I shook my head firmly. "Nope, I don't have one," I asserted, refusing to back down.
In order for them to believe me, I demonstrated my organic web, shooting a strand at a nearby tree. Both Peter B and Miles watched in astonishment as the web emerged from my own body.
Miles exclaimed, "Whoa, that came out of you!"
Equally puzzled, Peter B questioned, "How is that possible? Organic web?"
With a smirk, I offered an explanation. "Well, all of us are from different dimensions, so... different Spider-Man."
Peter B, though intrigued, couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. "You've got a point, but I can't help feeling a little jealous. Creating web shooters is quite the hassle."
Seeing through his reluctance, I pressed on. "So, you do have an extra set?"
Peter B tried to dodge, but eventually relented. "Alright, alright, I've got one," he admitted, tossing the web shooter towards Miles.
Miles caught the device, a wide grin spreading across his face.
Curious, Peter B questioned, "How did you even know about web shooters device anyway when you have organic web?"
I shrugged confidently. "Why wouldn't I? I mean, come on, look at me, I am Spider-Man," I replied, a hint of pride in my voice.
Peter B, conceding to the logic, nodded in agreement. "Fair point."
With that settled, I brought the focus back to the task at hand. "Anyway, let's get back on track."
Then Miles eagerly equipped the webshooters and attempted to fire them, but his first shot went astray, heading straight for Peter B's face.
Peter B's reaction was a mix of surprise and annoyance as he exclaimed, "Seriously?"
Realizing his mistake, Miles quickly apologized, saying, "Sorry."
I couldn't help but chuckle at the mishap. "Ha-ha, anyway, let's focus. The first thing we need to do is retrace Peter's steps. I mean, not your steps, but the other Peter's."
Peter B nodded in agreement. "I know, and that's a good question."
He took a moment to contemplate before declaring, "What would I do if I were me?"
Then, the scene transitioned, almost like a comic panel.
STEP ONE: I infiltrate the lab.
TWO: Find the head scientist's computer.
As we were about to continue, Miles interjected, , "That lady with the bike is the head scientist,"
Both Peter B and I turned towards Miles, our eyes fixed on him.
Miles, sensing our gaze, shifted uncomfortably, realizing the attention on him. He added awkwardly, "Um... I saw her in this documentary."
Peter B acknowledged Miles' input. "Cool. Now, let's get back to imagining comics."
I echoed his sentiment, "Yeah, let's get back to it,"
Peter B resumed, "Anyway, Step Three: I reexamine my personal biases."
Continuing with the steps, Peter B outlined, "STEP FOUR: I hack the computer."
Miles, ever the stickler for details, interrupted, "It's not technically hacking."
Peter B sighed, his train of thought momentarily derailed. "Not now. I just lost my train of thought."
Undeterred, he continued, "STEP FIVE: Download the important stuff."
Both Miles and I exchanged a puzzled glance, our eyebrows practically touching in confusion.
Sensing our doubt, Peter B maintained his confidence and declared, "Well, I'll know it when I see it."
I couldn't help but marvel at Peter B's genius. "Peter is really something, being able to remember complex codes with just a glance."
Peter B concluded with what seemed like the most anticlimactic step of all, "STEP SIX: I grab a bagel from the cafeteria and run."
I looked at him skeptically. "That's it?"
Peter B shrugged. "Yep, That's it."
Peter continued with a smirk, adding, "Also, don't underestimate the power of a good bagel. It's the fuel of champions, my friend."
I couldn't help but laugh at Peter's belief in the bagel's importance to our heroics. "Okay, Peter. If you say so."
After Peter B laid out his plan, I turned to Miles with a mix of encouragement and determination. "Okay, Miles, it's time for your showtime."
Miles gulped nervously, steeling himself for the training ahead. "I'm ready."
With a reassuring nod, I offered guidance. "Well, now, swing steady and calm. Keep calm, aim with your hips, and look where you want it to hit."
Miles nodded in understanding, then aimed at the trees. However, when he released the web, it backfired, causing him to collide with a tree.
Peter B couldn't help but laugh at the mishap. "I told you, this is a bad idea!"
I sighed, trying to maintain patience. "Miles, keep steady, focus, and try again."
Miles made another attempt, though it was still far from perfect.
"I think I get it," Miles said, a hint of frustration in his voice.
Turning to Peter B, I asked, "Do you have any tips to share?"
Peter B nodded, stepping in to offer his advice. "Fine, square your shoulders. Don't forget to follow through, and don't shoot off your back foot."
Miles swung with determination, though he struggled to keep up with all the instructions. "That's too many things!" he exclaimed, feeling overwhelmed.
Peter B, offered a straightforward solution. "Then stop listening to me!" he joked, lightening the mood with his typical humor.
"That's the best idea you've had all day!" Miles retorted as he continued to swing.
When Miles managed to avoid hitting the trees and swing more confidently, I couldn't help but smirk. "Nice, Miles!"
"I'm doin' it," Miles exclaimed, a sense of accomplishment in his voice.
"Good, you're doin' it," Peter B chimed in, offering encouragement.
Peter B then provided further guidance. "Double tap to release and thwip it out again."
"Okay," Miles replied, absorbing the instructions.
"Now, Miles, thwip and release," I reminded him.
"Thwip, release, thwip, and release," Miles repeated, trying to find his rhythm.
"You're a natural. Thwip and release!" Peter B praised him.
"Feel the rhythm" I asked, checking in with Miles.
"Thwip and release!" Miles affirmed, starting to get the hang of it.
"Good, Miles," I said, acknowledging his progress.
Miles looked at us with newfound confidence. "I gotta say, you're both amazing, man."
"Well, We're a little team!" I exclaimed proudly.
Peter B added with a grin, "Me as the teacher who could still do it."
"And you as the student who can do it, just not as good as us," Peter B teased Miles, lightening the mood.
Miles was getting better at swinging, although he wasn't an expert yet. but he showed improvement. And I knew he would get better, especially since I'd seen the movie [Into the Spider-Verse.]
With Miles showing signs of improvement in his swinging, I decided it was time to press forward with our mission. "Okay, Miles, stop what you're doing. Let's go," I directed, eager to keep the momentum going.
Peter B, chimed in with his skepticism. "What? I mean He's still not that good yet," he pointed out, voicing his doubts about Miles' abilities.
I shot Peter B a reassuring glance, empathizing with his concerns. "You know, experience in battle makes your web better. That's what we do all the time," I reminded him, trying to instill some confidence in Miles' potential.
Peter B hesitated, his uncertainty lingering, but eventually relented. "I know... but..." he trailed off, still not fully convinced.
"It's okay. Miles can do it," I assured him, picking up on the determination radiating from Miles.
Peter B hesitated for a moment, exchanging glances between Miles and me. Eventually, he relented with a resigned sigh. "Fine," he conceded, his tone reflecting a mix of skepticism and begrudging acceptance.
Miles couldn't contain his excitement, his smile widening at Peter B's agreement.
Turning his attention to Miles, Peter B took charge. "Follow us, kid. We're going to infiltrate and take the files to stop the collider," he declared with authority.
Miles nodded eagerly, his enthusiasm evident. "Yes!" he exclaimed, his eagerness to join our mission palpable.
As we swung through the city, we noticed a crowd gathering outside the Alchemax building, with Kingpin making his way inside. Swiftly, we navigated through the chaos, ensuring our movements remained hidden from view. However, Miles was still struggling with his swinging technique.
I quickly zipped Miles up with my webs, dragging him along to keep him from being spotted. "Whoa, whoa!" he exclaimed, clearly surprised by the sudden movement.
Once we reached the top of the building, I gestured for Peter B and Miles to follow me into the ventilation system. They nodded in agreement, and we made our way through the vents cautiously.
Unfortunately, Miles accidentally made a noise, causing Kingpin to pause and listen. We held our breath, hoping to remain undetected. Thankfully, Kingpin seemed to dismiss the sound, assuming it was just a rat scurrying about.
Quietly in the vent, Peter B couldn't help but voice his concern. "I told you this is a bad idea," he whispered to me.
I met his gaze, my expression unreadable behind my mask. "Maybe or maybe not," I replied cryptically, trying to remain optimistic about our chances.
Miles, determined to see this through, chimed in quietly. "I still want to go with you. Besides, I can't just sit there and let Spider-Man die without doing anything about it," he asserted, his resolve unwavering.
His words seemed to strike a chord with Peter B, who, despite wearing a mask, I could sense his surprise.
"What?" Miles asked, noticing Peter B's reaction.
Peter B chuckled softly before responding, "Most people I meet in the workplace try to kill me, so you're a nice change of pace."
Down below, I spoke up, urging them to stay focused and keep moving forward. "Let's focus, keep moving, guys," I said, prompting them to continue moving. As they moved ahead of me, I stayed behind to ensure no one followed or noticed our presence, keeping a watchful eye on our surroundings.
As we remained concealed in the vent, peering through the grates, we observed the scene unfolding in the room below. A woman with sunglasses caught our attention as she conversed with Kingpin, seemingly discussing important data displayed on a monitor.
"Mr. Fisk! Look at this data," she exclaimed confidently, adjusting her sunglasses as she spoke. "I know you can't really understand it," she continued, typing on her computer. "But these are really good numbers."
Peter B, always quick to seize an opportunity, whispered to us, "And I got the password."
I couldn't help but be impressed. "Damn, you got the password in that moment?" I whispered back incredulously.
Peter B smirked confidently. "What can I say, I am a genius," he whispered back, his tone filled with pride. Despite the tense situation, his skills were proving invaluable once again.

Meanwhile
As the events unfolded inside Alchemax, On the other side another figure entered the scene, a girl with blond hair who seemed to be on her own mission.
"Where is it?" she muttered under her breath, scanning the surroundings intently as she infiltrated the facility.
A male scientist, noticing her presence, approached cautiously. "Who are you?" he inquired, his voice tinged with suspicion.
The girl with blond hair, identifying herself as Gwennie, tried to maintain her composure. "I'm Gwennie," she replied, her tone slightly nervous.
The scientist regarded her skeptically for a moment before a realization dawned on him. "Oh, I know. You're one of the newcomers Sir Eric mentioned, huh?" he deduced, connecting the dots.
As the conversation continued, the girl with blond hair, still maintaining her facade, nervously laughed and nodded along. "Yes, yes, I am," she affirmed, her laughter sounding slightly forced.
Unbeknownst to the scientists she encountered, this seemingly ordinary girl was none other than Gwen Stacy, known in other dimensions as Spider-Gwen or Spider-Woman.
