Chapter 169 - Chapter 133 The Dawn Of Sun (1)

Michael and Peter stood in the dimly lit basement, their eyes locked on Dr. Octopus and Kraven the Hunter. The tension in the air was palpable, the silence only broken by the hum of machinery and the distant sound of dripping water. Their minds raced, trying to process the shocking revelation of Dr. Octavius's transformation and his alliance with Kraven.

Peter, still in disbelief, broke the silence. "Dr. Octavius?"

Dr. Octopus turned his gaze towards Peter, a twisted smile forming on his face. "How do you know my name, Spider-Man Red?" he sneered.

Peter, trying to keep his composure, replied, "Uh, well, through the news. You know, you've become quite famous."

Dr. Octopus's smile vanished, replaced by a mask of rage. "Is that so?" he said, his voice dripping with venom. "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be like this!" With a roar of anger, he lunged towards Peter, his mechanical tentacles whirring to life.

Kraven the Hunter, amused by the chaos, laughed heartily. "You are filled with bloodthirsty, my friend." he remarked, watching Dr. Octopus attack Spider-Man Red. He then turned his gaze to Michael Wilson, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "And I like that," he said with a smirk, before lunging towards Michael with predatory intent.

The basement erupted into a frenzy of motion. Peter barely had time to dodge as Dr. Octopus's tentacles smashed into the ground where he had been standing. "Dr.Octavius, stop! This isn't you!" Peter shouted, hoping to reach the man behind the madness.

"Shut up!" Dr. Octopus snarled, his tentacles lashing out again. "You ruined everything! My work, my life—all because of you!"

.....

[Michael side]

Meanwhile, Michael found himself dodging Kraven's relentless attacks. The hunter's agility and strength were formidable, and his every move was calculated to corner and overpower his prey. "You can't escape me, Spider-Man." Kraven taunted, his eyes wild with the thrill of the hunt.

Michael, focusing on defense, replied, "I'm not planning to escape. I'm planning to take you down." With a swift maneuver, he managed to land a solid punch on Kraven, momentarily stunning the hunter.

But the respite was brief. Kraven recovered quickly, his grin widening. "Good, very good," he said, his voice filled with approval. "Show me more, Spider-Man!"

....

[ Peter side]

Peter, still engaged with Dr. Octopus, tried to reason with him. "Doc, you need to fight this! You're not a villain!"

Dr. Octopus's response was another furious swipe of his tentacles. "You know nothing, Spider-Man! This is who I am now. Because of you Accept it!"

...

[Meanwhile Michael Pov]

"What the hell happened? Why is Kraven really here?" I thought to myself, the confusion swirling in my mind as I faced the formidable hunter.

Kraven lunged at me with two knives, his movements quick and precise. He tried to feint and thrust, but I managed to evade, my Spider-Sense guiding me. I aimed a kick at his chest, but he skillfully blocked it with his knife, forcing me to halt mid-strike. Instinctively, I twisted my body in midair, narrowly avoiding his blade, and then delivered a powerful punch to his chest, causing him to stagger backward.

Kraven, recovering quickly, let out a low, appreciative growl. "Not bad, Spider." With a predatory grin, he lunged again, his knife jabbing toward me with incredible speed. I evaded, my Spider-Sense tingling with each movement. I aimed a back kick at him, but he ducked under it, his knife slicing upward toward my jaw. I dodged the blade just in time and countered with a punch to his face, sending him reeling.

"Aargh!" Kraven grunted as he was knocked back a few steps. He quickly regained his footing, a wild look of exhilaration in his eyes. "You are not the Legendary Spider-Man for nothing," he said, sneering as he wiped the blood from his nose. He fixed his gaze on me, his expression a mix of respect and excitement. "Let's try again." he smirked, clearly relishing the challenge.

Kraven charged at me again, moving with incredible speed and precision. I braced myself, knowing this fight was going to be intense. His knives flashed in the dim light, each thrust and slash trying to find a weak spot in my defenses. But I was ready.

.....

[Meanwhile Peter Parker]

Peter dodged the tentacles, flipping backward with quick, graceful movements. More tentacles lunged at him, but he kept evading them, moving smoothly like a skilled gymnast.

"Dr. Octavius, why?" Peter called out, his voice tinged with genuine concern. "What about your family?"

For a brief moment, a look of profound sadness crossed Dr. Octopus's face. But then his expression twisted into one of rage. "I can't go back to my family, not like this!" he shouted, his voice cracking with emotion. "I've become a monster because of you!"

With a crazed fury, he lunged his tentacles at Peter, their metal limbs slicing through the air with lethal intent. "I am not Doctor Octavius anymore!" he screamed, his eyes wild with anger. "Call me Dr. Octopus!"

Peter's heart ached for the man who had once been a brilliant scientist, now reduced to this. But he knew he had to stay focused. He couldn't let Dr. Octopus's pain and anger distract him from the fight. Dodging another swipe of the tentacles, Peter prepared himself for the next onslaught, determined to find a way to reach the man trapped inside the monster.

...

[Meanwhile Loe Halloway]

In the director's office of the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, Director Loe Halloway sat at his desk, looking very serious as he read a report from his agents. The news was really bad.

"Damn it, is this really happening?" Loe muttered to himself, frustration evident in his voice. "How could Dr. Doom manage to steal vibranium from Wakanda? The most technologically advanced nation on Earth?"

His mind raced with possibilities, trying to piece together how such a brazen theft could have occurred right under their noses. But before he could delve deeper into his thoughts, a knock interrupted his musings.

"Come in." Loe called out, his tone a mixture of curiosity and annoyance.

As the door swung open, Reed Richards, the renowned scientist and leader of the Fantastic Four, stepped into the room. Loe's confusion deepened at the unexpected visit.

"Why are you here, Reed?" Loe asked, his tone tinged with confusion.

Reed's expression was grave as he replied, "I have something important to discuss."

The pieces began to fall into place as Loe realized the gravity of the situation. "Is this about your encounter with Dr. Doom?" he questioned, his voice laced with concern.

Reed agreed with a serious expression. "Yeah," he said. "After our big fight, he got away and took some vibranium from Wakanda with him. We've been trying to find him, but no luck so far."

Loe's worry deepened at the news. "There's too much chaos happening in New York." he muttered, his mind already racing with plans to contain the fallout.

Before he could dwell on the matter further, another interruption came in the form of a knock on his door.

"Come in," Loe called out, steeling himself for whatever new crisis awaited him.

Agent Maria Hill, one of S.H.I.E.L.D's most trusted operatives, stepped into the room, her expression grave.

"Sir, it appears that the traitor John Garrett and his men are causing havoc in New York." she reported, her voice urgent.

Loe's frustration boiled over as he slammed his fist on the table. "That bastard," he growled, his anger barely contained.

Quickly regaining his composure, he turned his attention back to Maria. "Have you dispatched some agents to the scene?" he demanded, his voice commanding.

Maria nodded, her gaze unwavering. "Yes, sir. Agents Phil Coulson and Agent Al MacKenzie are en route as we speak." she confirmed.

As Reed Richards observed the scene unfolding before him in Director Loe Halloway's office, his mind buzzed with a lot of thoughts and calculations. He couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency and responsibility weighing heavily upon him.

Then Loe's expression softened slightly at the news. "Good," he replied, a sense of relief washing over him. "Is there anything else?"

Maria shook her head. "No, sir. That's all for now." she answered, her tone respectful.

Loe nodded, dismissing her with a wave of his hand. "You're excused," he said, his attention already returning to Reed Richards. "Sorry about that,"

Reed Richard nodded in understanding, his gaze meeting Loe's. "No problem," he replied calmly. "It's a hectic time for all of us."

...

[Meanwhile Michael Wilson side]

As I continued to dodge Kraven's relentless barrage of attacks, frustration began to simmer within me. This guy was proving to be more formidable than I had anticipated, and his confidence was only fueling his aggression.

"I've been waiting for an equal!!" he shouted, his voice filled with exhilaration. "Now that I have one, I can fight to the fullest of my ability!!"

His words were like a challenge, driving me to push myself even harder. But as he unleashed a series of attacks with his arsenal of weapons, I found myself struggling to keep up. Dodging his bolas, spear, and whip was no easy feat, and I could feel the strain of the battle wearing me down.

With a quick maneuver, I narrowly avoided his knife thrust, feeling the rush of air as it sliced past me. But then, to my dismay, I realized that Kraven had set his sights on a different target—the vulnerability of my abdomen.

"Gah!" I grunted as I dodged to the left, narrowly avoiding his blade. But Kraven's smirk told me that he had anticipated my move.

"I finally got you." he taunted, his voice dripping with satisfaction.

Refusing to be outdone, I quickly shot a web line towards him, hoping to catch him off guard and gain the upper hand. But before I could celebrate my success, Kraven swiftly cut through the webs with his knife, showcasing his incredible strength and agility.

"I have the blood of a lion in me," he boasted, his demeanor akin to that of a predator toying with its prey. "That's why your webs won't hold me. I'm too strong—I can just tear through them like they're nothing."

"His origin story doesn't add up," I mused silently, trying to make sense of Kraven's seemingly superhuman abilities. The idea that he derived his strength and agility from the blood of a lion sounded like something straight out of a comic book. But right now, as I dodged his attacks, I didn't have time to puzzle it out. I just knew I had to stay focused and keep fighting.

As Kraven charged at me with fierce strength, I couldn't help but wonder how someone could possess such incredible power. Was it some kind of genetic mutation? A result of experimental enhancements? Or perhaps there was more to Kraven's past than met the eye.

Regardless of the answer, one thing was clear—underestimating Kraven would be a grave mistake. His lion-like prowess was not to be taken lightly.

Dodging Kraven's attacks left and right, I realized I needed some intel to even the odds. So, I asked my Spider-Man system for info. It's like having a super-smart assistant in my head. I just think about what I need, and it gets to work.

"System, show me his status," I requested silently, my focus split between dodging Kraven's attacks and awaiting the system's response.

Seconds later, the familiar voice of the system echoed in my mind, acknowledging my command. "Affirmative, host," it replied, signaling that it was processing the request and gathering the necessary information.

As I continued to maneuver around Kraven's strikes, I anxiously awaited the system's report, hoping it would shed some light on the enigmatic foe I was facing. With each passing moment, the tension in the air mounted, heightening the urgency of the situation.
