Chapter 158 - Chapter 125– New Arc?

Timeline: November 7, 1995

In the bustling streets of New York City, The Legendary Spider-Man and Spider-Man Red swung into action, their iconic suits catching the sunlight as they confronted a notorious criminal organization.

"Red, get ready," I called out to Peter, my voice echoing through the bustling streets as adrenaline surged through my veins. This wasn't our first rodeo, but every battle brought its own set of challenges.

Peter flashed me a grin, his eyes bright with a mix of excitement and nervous thing. "Ready as I'll ever be, Captain," he replied, his voice tinged with anticipation.

As the criminals laid eyes on the two Spider-Men, confusion and fear flashed across their faces. "Two Spider-Men?" one of them exclaimed, his voice trembling with disbelief.

Without hesitation, the criminals opened fire with their laser beams, aiming to take us down. But I and Spider-Man Red were too quick, Our Spider-Senses alerting us to the imminent danger.

Peter and I moved in sync, our Spider-Senses alerting us to the imminent danger. "Remember the strategy, Red," I reminded him, my voice firm yet encouraging. "You take that side, while I handle this."

As we jumped into the fight, I couldn't help but find the situation a bit funny. Imagine, two dudes in tight superhero suits, facing off against a bunch of bad guys with fancy guns. It was like something out of a comic book, And It is a comic world. So yeah Just another day in New York City, right?

As I found myself surrounded by a swarm of adversaries, my senses kicked into overdrive. Peter, still getting the hang of things, was dealing with a smaller group, which was probably for the best given his newbie status.

As a bad guy charged at me shooting his gun everywhere, I dodged his bullets by moving around quickly. Then, I kicked him in the stomach, which made him stumble back all confused. That's when I shot some web at his gun and pulled it away from him. With his gun out of the picture, I use another strand of webbing, I pulled him toward me, delivering a satisfying punch that sent him crashing to the ground with a groan of pain.

Just when I thought the fight was done, five more bad guys popped up, shooting at me like crazy. But I was quick on my feet. I shot out my web and caught their bullets, sending them flying off course.

With the immediate threat neutralized, I sprang into action, launching myself toward the group of attackers. Every move I made was carefully planned, each hit right on target. I kicked two of them in the stomach, then punched another in the side. Spinning around, I caught a fourth guy by surprise with a kick to his side. And to finish things off, I gave the last one a quick one-inch punch that sent him crashing down.

[ Peter Side]

As Peter found himself facing off against the trio of baddies, he couldn't help but crack a joke to ease the tension.

"Alright, fellas, who's ready for a dance-off?" Peter quipped with a grin, his trademark sense of humor never far behind.

With a swift back kick, he sent one of the bad guys flying, eliciting a pained "Aurg!" as the thug hit the ground with a thud. Peter couldn't resist a cheeky comment. "Hope you've got good insurance for those landings!"

Next up was an elbow strike to the left side, causing another foe to buckle and kneel. "You know," Peter remarked, "I hear kneel workouts are all the rage. You should thank me for the free lesson!"

Finally, a knee strike to the abdomen had the last adversary gasping for breath and lying helpless on the ground. "Looks like someone's lost their appetite for a fight," Peter joked as he glanced around at the defeated foes.

With a flourish, Peter delivered a series of knockout punches, ensuring that the trio wouldn't be getting up anytime soon. "Nighty-night, fellas. Sweet dreams of a less criminal career path," he quipped, his comedic stun shining even in the midst of battle.

With the last of the criminals incapacitated, Michael Wilson and Peter Parker exchanged a nod of satisfaction, their partnership proving once again to be a winning formula against crime.

"Great job out there, Pete," Michael said, clapping Peter on the back as they took stock of their surroundings.

Peter grinned, feeling a surge of pride at his mentor's praise. "Thanks, Mike. I mean it, But I still have a long way to go, but because of you, I feel like I'm getting stronger every day."

Michael chuckled. "Hey, I just provide the wisdom. You're the one with the acrobatic moves and those quick reflexes."

Peter rolled his eyes playfully. "Yeah, yeah, keep flattering me and I might start thinking I'm the real hero here."

Michael raised an eyebrow. "Oh, is that so? Well, I suppose I'll just have to retire and let you take over as the Legendary Spider-Man."

Peter gasped dramatically. "Me? The Legendary Spider-Man? I don't know if the city is ready for that much sarcasm."

They both laughed, the bond between mentor and disciple stronger than ever.

"But seriously, Mike," Peter said, his tone more sincere, "I'm grateful to have you as my mentor. I learn something new from you every time we're out there."

Michael's expression softened. "And I'm proud to call you my disciple, Pete. You've come a long way since that radioactive spider bite."

With a shared nod of understanding, they turned their attention back to the city streets, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead as a team.

[Loe Halloway side]

In the office of Director Loe Halloway at S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, tension hung heavy in the air as the search for Kingkong continued to yield no results.

"Any updates on Kingkong?" Loe asked Agent Coulson, his tone heavy with concern.

Coulson shook his head wearily. "I'm afraid not, Director. It seems there's been no progress. We've lost his trail since his escape," he reported, his tone reflecting the gravity of the situation.

The frustration in Loe's voice was evident as he slammed his fist against his desk. "Tsk," he muttered in frustration before pausing to collect his thoughts. With a furrowed brow, he pondered aloud, "How could this happen? Who allowed him to escape? And someone who can shapeshift into anyone..." His voice trailed off as he considered the implications.

Turning to his laptop, Loe pulled up a file, studying the image displayed on the screen. "How is it possible? He really does look like me," he murmured to himself, his brows furrowing in deep thought.

Agent Coulson, sensing the gravity of the situation, asked, "What's our next move, sir?"

With determination, Loe made a decision. "Gather all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. I have an announcement to make." he declared, He was already thinking about how to catch Kingkong.

[Meanwhile Adrian side]

Adrian Toomes, still seething with resentment after being fired by Norman Osborn, found himself in the dimly lit basement of his workshop, his frustration palpable in the air. Suddenly, a mysterious figure appeared, his presence commanding attention.

Suddenly, a voice broke the tense silence, echoing through the dimly lit basement. "Is your suit done yet?"

"Not yet," Adrian responded, his tone heavy with frustration and bitterness.

"Then hurry up because we are going to put an end to that son of a bitch Norman," urged the mysterious figure who had entered the room.

Adrian nodded grimly, his resentment towards Norman Osborn boiling beneath the surface. "I've done everything to that man, and yet he fired me, made me a fool," he muttered, his voice thick with indignation.

The figure placed a hand on Adrian's shoulder, their shared animosity towards Osborn palpable. "He stole my work.....," the figure seethed. "And then had the audacity to claim it as his own because of his damn resources!"

Adrian sighed, acknowledging the familiar grievance. "You've told me this countless times, Vond Finch," he said wearily.

Then Vond's gaze turned towards the distance, his resentment burning fiercely. "Anyway If it weren't for Spider-Man, I would have made Osborn pay," he growled, his fists clenching in frustration. "And now there are two Spider-Man!!!"

Adrian's concern deepened at the thought of facing not one but two adversaries. "What do we do if Spider-Man appears again?" he pondered aloud.

Vond's lips curled into a smirk. "Don't worry. Remember, I owe my escape to someone," he said cryptically.

Adrian furrowed his brow in confusion. "Someone? Who?"

Vond's smirk widened. "Chameleon," he revealed, his tone filled with anticipation.

Adrian's eyes widened in realization. "Chameleon?"

Vond nodded, his gaze unwavering. "You'll meet him soon enough," he assured Adrian before redirecting his focus to the unfinished suit before them. "But for now, focus on finishing that suit of yours."

Adrian nodded determinedly. "It will be finished tonight," he declared with newfound resolve.

"Good," Vond replied, nodding in approval. Then, with a hint of curiosity, he asked, "By the way, what's your villain name?"

Adrian rolled his eyes at the notion of adopting a stereotypical villain name. "Seriously? Villain names are so cliché," he remarked, his voice tinged with skepticism.

Vond let out an exasperated sigh. "Just tell me, okay? You know villains have villain names," he insisted, urging Adrian to comply.

Finally giving in to Vond's persistence, Adrian agreed with a reluctant nod. "Fine," he conceded before pausing for a moment, contemplating his choice. Then, a mischievous smirk crept across his face as an idea formed in his mind.

"I know now what I should be called," Adrian announced, his smirk growing wider with anticipation.

Vond leaned in, curiosity piqued. "And what is that?" he inquired eagerly, awaiting Adrian's revelation.

With a confident smirk, Adrian declared, "Vulture," his voice dripping with defiance and determination.

With that, a new chapter in the story of Michael Wilson and Peter Parker unfolded: "The Alliance of the Beasts."
