Chapter 134 - Side Chapter: Missing Case

As the day turned to night, the city of New York buzzed with activity, oblivious to the dangers lurking within New York.

Meanwhile, at the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, the agents worked tirelessly to analyze the information gathered from the field and devise strategies to figure out how to deal with the new dangers.

In a secluded corner of the facility, Thomas Halloway, also known as The New Angel, sat at his desk, poring over the reports and surveillance footage with intense focus. His mind raced with thoughts of the recent encounter with the Terrorist.

Suddenly, a voice broke through his concentration, pulling him back to the present. It was Nightwing, his trusted ally and partner, who had entered the room with a sense of urgency.

"Thomas, we've got a situation," Mark exclaimed, his voice tense with concern.

Thomas looked up, his expression serious as he met Nightwing's gaze. "What's going on?"

Mark quickly filled Thomas in on the latest developments, detailing a series of coordinated attacks by the Kingpin's forces across the city. "It's worse than we thought," Mark concluded, his voice grim.

Thomas nodded, his mind already racing with plans to counter the threat. "Shit," he said determinedly. "We need to act fast."

As everyone tensed up, the silence was broken by the creak of a door. Emily Hawkins entered the room confidently, catching everyone's attention. Right behind her was a man dressed like Daredevil.

"Here is Daredevil, Babe, and Angel," Emily announced, her gaze shifting between Nightwing and Thomas, her voice is soft.

When Emily and Daredevil walked in, everyone felt a sudden rush of seriousness. Thomas looked at them.

"Daredevil," Thomas acknowledged with a nod, his voice steady despite the mounting pressure. "Thanks for joining us."

Daredevil nodded in response, showing that he understood the seriousness of the situation. "No worries, Angel," he said calmly but firmly. "I'm here to assist however I can."

Emily then stepped forward, her eyes meeting Thomas's with a mixture of concern and determination. "There is no time to waste Gentlemen, we need to act fast now" she urged, her voice echoing the urgency of the moment.

Thomas nodded in agreement, his mind already spinning with potential strategies. "Agreed," he said firmly. "Let's coordinate with S.H.I.E.L.D. and devise a plan to take down the Kingpin's forces before they cause any more damage."

With a clear plan in place and the team united in purpose, Angel, Nightwing, Lady Vamp, Daredevil, and the support of S.H.I.E.L.D. mobilized to counter the threat posed by the Kingpin's forces.

Their first objective was to gather intel on the locations and activities of the Kingpin's operatives spread throughout the city. Utilizing a network of informants and advanced surveillance technology provided by S.H.I.E.L.D., they quickly pieced together a comprehensive overview of the enemy's movements and resources.

Then as night descended upon the city, the team split into smaller groups, each assigned specific targets and objectives. Angel and Nightwing took to the streets, alert for any signs of trouble. With their sharp instincts and heightened awareness, they scanned their surroundings, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.cted.

...

[Lady Vamp side]

Meanwhile As night fell, Lady Vamp and Daredevil moved quietly through the base. Their goal: gather important information without being noticed. Lady Vamp had special powers due to being a Half Vampire, and Daredevil had super senses, which helped them blend in and listen to conversations and watch out for anything suspicious without anyone knowing they were there.

Lady Vamp leaned in close to Daredevil, her voice barely above a whisper as she shared her discovery. "I can smell them," she said quietly, her words tinged with urgency. "They're vampires."

Daredevil's brow furrowed in concern as he processed Lady Vamp's revelation. He knew the danger that vampires posed, and he understood the gravity of the situation.

As Lady Vamp and Daredevil eavesdropped on the conversation, their senses honed in on every word exchanged between the vampires.

The vampire's voice cut through the base, his tone cautious yet conspiratorial. "Yeah, we need to be careful in these operations. Kingpin said he will give us something in return if we guard his resources."

His companion's voice held a note of curiosity. "Why do they need this so called adamantium anyway?"

The first vampire glanced around, ensuring their conversation remained private. "Don't tell anyone, but I heard about what Kingpin said," he whispered. After a brief pause, he continued, "It looks like Kingpin wants to sell it to a mutant called Magneto."

The mention of Magneto sent a shiver down Lady Vamp's spine. She exchanged a quick glance with Daredevil, their shared concern evident in their expressions.

The other vampire expressed disbelief. "Magneto? You mean that Magneto who killed thousands of people ten years ago?"

The first vampire confirmed solemnly, "Yep, that Magneto"

The revelation sent a chill down Lady Vamp's spine. Everyone knew Magneto history, the destruction and chaos he did during 1900s. Then She exchanged a glance with Daredevil, and they both understood how serious this was without saying a word.

Daredevil's expression remained stoic, but his mind raced with possibilities. If Kingpin was planning to sell adamantium to Magneto, it could only mean trouble for the city and beyond. They needed to act swiftly to prevent this dangerous transaction from taking place.

Quietly, Lady Vamp and Daredevil withdrew from their position, careful not to alert the vampires to their presence. Once at a safe distance, they talked to Angel and Nightwing, telling them all the important stuff they had heard.

"We need to intercept this deal before it goes down," Nightwing stated, his voice firm with determination.

Angel nodded in agreement, his mind already formulating a plan of action. "We'll need to coordinate with S.H.I.E.L.D. and gather more intel on the exact location and timing of the transaction."

Nightwing's urgency cut through the air like a blade as he interjected, "Nonono, it will be too late. We need to act now." His tone brooked no argument, his conviction clear as he emphasized the need for immediate action.

Feeling the urgency in Nightwing's words, Lady Vamp agreed. "You're right, Babe," She said firmly. "We can't wait. We have to act fast to stop this deal."

Thomas and Daredevil, understanding the urgency of the situation, nodded in agreement. They knew that time was of the essence, and they couldn't afford to let the Kingpin and Magneto's plans come to fruition.

As Angel, Nightwing, Lady Vamp, and Daredevil headed out to stop these things. They were all alert and focused as they moved through the dark streets of New York City.

"We'll need to move quickly and quietly," Nightwing whispered, his voice barely audible over the city. "I and Lady Vamp, we take out the guards at the entrance. Daredevil and Angel will go that way."

Angel nodded in agreement with Nightwing's plan. "Alright, let's split up and gather as much information as we can. We need to know the exact location and timing of the transaction to intercept it successfully."

With a shared glance, the team of Nightwing, Lady Vamp, Daredevil, and Angel nodded in silent agreement. Each understood their role and the importance of their mission.

Then the atmosphere was tense as Nightwing's strong words rang out, catching the guards' attention. "We're here, you jerk!" he shouted, his voice filled with defiance. His words not only warned the guards but also to distract them for Angel and Daredevil.

As Nightwing and Lady Vamp braced themselves for a confrontation, Daredevil and Angel seized the opportunity to slip away unnoticed, their movements was fast and silent as they vanished into the darkness.

And as the guards closed in on Nightwing and Lady Vamp, the two heroes sprung into action. They fought fiercely, using their training and skills to take down their opponents quickly. With well-aimed hits and smart moves, they managed to knock out the guards, making sure they couldn't sound any alarms.

Nightwing swiftly swung his baton, knocking one of the guards to the ground with a solid thud. Before the other guard could react, Nightwing delivered a powerful kick, sending him staggering backward. With precision, Nightwing struck again with his baton, rendering the second guard unconscious.

Meanwhile, Lady Vamp unleashed her strength, her punch landing with a force that sent her opponent backward. As a hybrid of human and vampire, her enhanced abilities made her punches devastatingly effective. The guard stumbled back, dazed by the impact, before collapsing to the ground, knocked out by Lady Vamp's powerful punch.

 ...

[Angel Side]

In the dark, Daredevil and Angel moved quietly toward their target. They were really focused, using their sharp senses to find any clues. As they got closer, they felt the pressure of their mission weighing on them. But they didn't let it slow them down. They kept moving forward with determination.

As Angel and Daredevil moved forward on their mission, walking quietly in the dark, they suddenly came face to face with two vampires. The vampires looked scary and spoke to the heroes with a threatening sound.

"Who are you guys?!" one of the vampires asked, sounding angry and confuse at the same time.

Angel and Daredevil realized they had no option but to fight the vampires when they got cornered.

 ...

[Nightwing side]

As Nightwing and Lady Vamp quickly subdued the guards, Nightwing wasted no time in interrogating them for information. He knew that time was of the essence, and they couldn't afford to waste a single moment.

Nightwing leaned in close to one of the guards, his voice low and demanding. "Where and what time is the deal happening?" he demanded, his tone brooking no defiance.

The guard, still reeling from the effects of Nightwing's blows, let out a bitter laugh. "Fool," he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "It's already happening."

"Boss is not here in the base anymore as he has a deal with Magneto," one of the guards announced, his smirk widening with each word. "You guys are too late."

Nightwing's jaw clenched with frustration at the news. They had missed their chance to confront the Kingpin directly, and now he was off making deals with one of the most dangerous mutants in the world.

.....

{Magneto side}

In a dimly lit room, Kingpin stood before Magneto, his posture confident despite the weight of the situation. The air crackled with tension as the two formidable figures checking each other up, their eyes locked in a silent exchange of power and authority.

"You are here, Kingpin, Where is it?" Magneto stated, his voice cold and commanding as he fixed his gaze on the crime lord.

Kingpin looked Magneto in the eye, staying calm and collected. "Don't worry, Magneto," he said smoothly. "The adamantium is already here." His confidence was evident in his tone.

Magneto's gaze bore into the Kingpin's, his expression unreadable as he processed the information. The air between them crackled with tension as the weight of their alliance hung heavy in the air.

"Show me," Magneto commanded, his voice cold and commanding.

With a nod to his henchmen, Kingpin gestured towards the box they were carrying. With a swift motion, one of the henchmen stepped forward, opening the box to reveal its contents.

Inside lay several gleaming bars of adamantium, the metal glinting in the dim light of the room. Magneto's eyes narrowed slightly as he surveyed the precious metal, his mind already racing with the possibilities it presented.

"Excellent," Magneto said, his voice tinged with satisfaction. "You have done well, Kingpin."

Kingpin nodded, a self-satisfied grin spreading across his face. "It was my pleasure, Magneto," he replied smoothly. "I trust that this will be the beginning of a profitable partnership for both of us."

Magneto's gaze remained fixed on the adamantium, remembering all the bad things that happened to mutants like him. The metal wasn't just valuable—it was a sign that he was ready to fight back against all the people who hurt mutants.

With a little nod, Magneto said quietly, "This will be the beginning of my revenge," he declared, his tone filled with conviction.
