Chereads / I Am the Mentor of Spider-Man / Chapter 132 - Chapter 110 –The Mutant (3)

Chapter 132 - Chapter 110 –The Mutant (3)

As the museum was rocked by the destructive force, Quicksilver was nearby, leisurely enjoying an ice cream cone. With a quick glance, he spotted the chaos unfolding and immediately sprang into action. "No, you don't," he muttered to himself, determination flashing in his eyes.

[Don't Stop Me Now

Song by Queen]

I'm gonna have myself a real good time

I feel alive

And the world, I'll turn it inside out, yeah

I'm floating around in ecstasy, so

Don't stop me 'cause I'm having a good time, having a good time

I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky

Like a tiger, defying the laws of gravity

I'm a racing car passing by, like Lady Godiva

I'm gonna go, go, go there's no stopping me

I'm burning through the sky, yeah

Two hundred degrees, that's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit

I'm travelling at the speed of light

I wanna make a supersonic man outta you

 ....

In a flash, Quicksilver dashed into the museum. To him, it seemed like time had stopped because he was moving so fast. He quickly navigated through the wreckage, rescuing people from the danger. He saved students , Teacher and visitors, one after another, making sure they were safe.

In the middle of all the chaos, Quicksilver noticed a girl who seemed frozen in shock, holding onto her cola tightly. With a smirk, he smoothly took the cola from her hand and had a sip. "Think of this as payment for rescuing you," he joked with a chuckle, before swiftly taking her to safety outside the museum.

As Quicksilver zoomed through the wreckage, his actions were a blur of speed and accuracy. He rescued everyone he could find, making sure they were safe amidst the chaos of the collapsing museum.

After emerging from the debris and bringing the last of the rescued individuals to safety, Quicksilver looked over the scene with a feeling of accomplishment. Despite the museum being in ruins, he knew that the people were safe, all thanks to his quick thinking and lightning-fast actions.

As Quicksilver sped away from the museum, the effects of his incredible speed began to wane. Time resumed its normal pace, and the world around the rescued individuals gradually regained its usual rhythm.

People blinked in confusion, disoriented by the sudden shift from slow motion back to real-time. They glanced around, trying to make sense of what had just happened, their hearts still racing from the adrenaline of the rescue.

Then as Quicksilver stood amidst the aftermath of the chaos, a voice behind him interrupted his thoughts. "Hoh, a speedster. You must be Quicksilver."

Startled, Quicksilver turned around to see who had addressed him. His surprise grew when he saw who it was – Magneto, standing with his allies.

"You..." Quicksilver's voice faltered for a moment, disbelief evident in his tone. "You are Magneto."

Magneto regarded Quicksilver with a cool demeanor, his presence commanding respect. "Indeed, I am," he confirmed, his voice carrying an air of authority. "And you are just in time to witness the dawn of a new era."

Quicksilver's eyes narrowed as he processed Magneto's words. The realization hit him like a bolt of lightning – Magneto was responsible for the chaos and destruction that had engulfed the museum.

"You caused this?" Quicksilver exclaimed, his voice laced with incredulity and anger. "Why would you do such a thing?"

Magneto's expression remained stoic as he regarded Quicksilver. "For the greater good, of course," he replied calmly, his tone unapologetic. "Sometimes sacrifices must be made to achieve our goals."

Quicksilver's fists clenched at his sides, his frustration and outrage boiling over. "Sacrifices? You call endangering innocent lives a sacrifice?" he shot back, his voice trembling with emotion.

Magneto's gaze hardened, his resolve unwavering. "In the grand scheme of things, yes," he asserted, his voice carrying an air of superiority. "But you wouldn't understand, kid. You're too focused on your own narrow view of the world."

"Just because you are fast doesn't mean we can't beat you," Magneto declared confidently, turning to his allies for support. "Aper, do you think you can adapt his speed?"

Aper, one of Magneto's trusted comrades, nodded in response. "Yes, my lord," he affirmed, his voice filled with determination. "When he used his speed earlier, I felt it just a little bit more, and I believe I can adapt his power."

With this revelation, Quicksilver's heart skipped a beat. It meant that his usual strategy of using his speed might not work against this opponent. But he wasn't the type to run from a fight especially with the people he rescued are there.

 ......

[Meanwhile Peter Parker]

Looking around, they noticed they were no longer inside the museum. Instead, they found themselves outside, surrounded by trees and green grass.

As Peter and the others tried to figure out what was happening, they felt completely lost and confused. The chaos at the museum had left them feeling scared and unsure about what they should do next.

"What just happened?" Mary Jane exclaimed, her voice tinged with fear as she surveyed their surroundings. "One moment we were in the museum, and now we're... here?"

Harry Osborn seemed just as confused as the rest of them. "I have no idea what's happening, Mary jane," he said, looking puzzled. "But whatever it is, it doesn't seem like it's going to end well."

"Where are we?" one of the students asked, voicing the question that was on everyone's minds.

Peter Parker stepped forward, his expression similar to the confusion and concern of those around him. "I'm not sure," he admitted, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "This doesnt make sense."

Unaware of Magneto and Quicksilver's identities, the trio observed the group from a distance, their curiosity piqued by the conversation unfolding before them.

Who are they?" Mary Jane whispered, barely audible, as she gestured toward the mysterious figures.

Peter furrowed his brow, his gaze fixed on Magneto as he tried to make sense of their presence. "I'm not sure," he admitted quietly, a sense of unease settling over him. "But something tells me they're not here to help us."

Location:Museum

I swung through the city, feeling the wind rush past me, my heart pounding with determination and fear. My mission was simple: protect the people from Magneto and his mutant allies. As I approached the museum, I saw chaos and destruction, confirming the urgency of the situation.

There, I spotted Peter Parker and others. Thank goodness he was safe, along with the rest. Peter explained he was supposed to be on a history tour today, but it seemed that plan had been disrupted."

As I approached Peter and the others, I couldn't help but notice the shock and surprise on their faces as they recognized me in my iconic black suit and blue eyes. It was Spider-Man, their friendly neighborhood hero, standing before them.

"Hey kid, Are you okay?" I asked Peter, trying to assess the situation and understand the chaos that had unfolded.

Peter's eyes widened in disbelief as he processed the sight before him. "Spider-Man? Is that really you?" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with awe and disbelief.

I nodded, offering a reassuring smile despite the urgency of the situation. "Yeah, it's me," I confirmed, my tone steady and reassuring. "But right now, we need to focus on keeping everyone safe from the bad people okay."

Taking in the chaotic scene, my senses sharpened by the urgency of the moment, I spotted Quicksilver right away. His unique appearance, with that shock of white hair and the sleek suit, instantly reminded me of the X-Men movies.

"That is Quicksilver," I whispered to myself, recognizing him from the films. It hit me then – this was really happening, That this is a canon event of X-Men.

With a sense of determination, I focused on the task at hand. My priority was to protect the innocent civilians and stop Magneto and his mutant allies from causing further harm. As I swung into action, my mind raced with strategies to counter their powers and neutralize the threat they posed.

"Stay back," I warned Peter and the others, my voice firm yet filled with concern. "I'll handle this."

With that, I leaped into them, ready to confront Magneto and his allies head-on.

.......

[Meanwhile Quicksilver]

As Quicksilver lay on the ground, overwhelmed by the combined force of the mutants, he locked eyes with the man called Aper. Gritting through the pain and exhaustion, Quicksilver managed a smirk. "So you can really adapt to my speed, huh?"

Aper chuckled, shaking his head. "Yep, I can. But don't misunderstand; my power is different. I can't move faster like you. My power is about adaptation. Give me a few minutes, and your speed won't work on me."

Magneto, growing impatient, interrupted. "Enough of this nonsense. Kill him."

"Yes, boss," Aper replied with a smirk, turning his attention back to Quicksilver. "Bye-bye, quickie."

But just as Aper lunged forward, ready to strike, someone intervened. With lightning-fast reflexes, a figure swung into action, grabbing Aper's arms with strands of sticky, resilient webbing and hurling him away.

Magneto's gaze shifted to the newcomer, his eyes narrowing with recognition. "You are the Legendary Spider-Man."

[Meanwhile Charles side]

As they soared through the skies on their jet plane, Professor Xavier addressed his team with a sense of urgency in his voice. "Everyone, get ready. We're about to confront Magneto and his mutant allies."

With his telepathic abilities, Charles had already gathered crucial information about What's happening

Each member of the X-Men nodded in solemn determination. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Angel, Iceman, Rogue, Storm, and lastly Wolverine all prepared themselves for what lay ahead.

Wolverine, always eager for action, grinned and muttered, "It's showtime."

Charles, always the calm voice of reason, softly interjected, "You better wait, Eric." His words silently begged for restraint, holding out hope that Magneto, his old friend, could still be persuaded.
