In the lively streets of New York City in 1952, the city buzzed with activity, its vibrant and nostalgic city, It reminds me again that I really came in the past. Swinging gracefully between the towering skyscrapers, dressed in my black and blue costume, I couldn't help but feel proud of how much I'd grown since becoming Spider-Man four years ago.

As I landed on a nearby building, its rooftop empty, I took a moment to breathe and look around. The cool air felt refreshing after swinging through the city.

Taking a quick look around to make sure I was alone, I activated my Spider-Man System and requested an update on my status. "Show me my status, system," I said quietly.

As I glanced at the glowing screen of my Spider-Man System, checking my status and available points, a familiar voice interrupted my thoughts—a call from my father, Captain Edward Wilson.

"Hello, Michael," Dad's voice crackled through the mcall device.

My dad and I often bond over fighting crime together. He rose to the rank of executive captain in the police force. And of course, Nightwing, my friend Mark, and Loe, the new Angel— the three of us are always together fighting crimes. But sometimes, Mark occasionally operates solo, He told me that he can handle himself, and I agree. After all, he's trained for years, so I believe that Mark can easily handle himself. While I trust in Mark's capabilities, I still express concern for his safety and urge him to contact me if he ever feels overwhelmed. And then there's Loe. He's also similar to Mark; sometimes, he fights criminals by himself. Well, he is stronger than Mark after all. I also gave Loe some serum boost, just like I did for Mark. And Loe has more experience than Mark, so yeah. Anyway, With Loe and Mark occupied on the other side of New York City, I find myself flying solo for now.

My dad's voice broke through my thoughts, pulling me back to reality.

"Hello, Michael? Are you there?" Captain Edward Wilson's voice came through the mcall device.

"Sorry, Dad, I was lost in thought for a moment there. What's up?" I replied, snapping back to attention.

"Um, I just wanted to... you know, have some father-son bonding time," Dad said, his tone warm and inviting.

No Mom this time, just you and me. I want to bond with you for now, son," said Edward

"Sure, Dad, I'd love that," I said warmly. "Where do you want to meet?"

"How about that little Italian place downtown? You know, the one we used to go 2 years before?" Dad suggested, a hint of nostalgia in his voice.

"Yeah, I remember," I replied, a smile playing on my lips. "That sounds perfect. I'll meet you there in an hour?"

"Sounds like a plan. See you then, son," Dad said before ending the call.

Ending the call with my dad, Captain Edward Wilson, I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth at the thought of spending quality time with him. Despite our busy lives—him as a high-ranking officer in the police force, and me as the vigilant Spider-Man—we always made time for each other.

With eager anticipation, I leaped off the rooftop and swung effortlessly through the city streets, the wind rushing past me as I made my way to the designated meeting spot. The familiar sights and sounds of New York City enveloped me, the lively activity of the bustling metropolis serving as a comforting backdrop to my thoughts.

As I arrived at the cozy Italian restaurant downtown, memories flooded back to me of the times my father and I had shared meals here, bonding over plates of pasta and stories of our adventures. Stepping inside, the familiar scent of garlic and tomatoes greeted me like an old friend, wrapping around me in a comforting hug.

I saw Dad sitting at a corner table, his face lit up with a smile as he waved me over. Walking toward him, I couldn't resist smiling back, thankful for this opportunity to bond with him away from our usual crime-fighting routines.

"Hey, Dad," I greeted warmly as I slid into the seat opposite him. "So, how's your day been, Dad? Any trouble with the criminals running amok?"

Dad chuckled, shaking his head slightly as he leaned back in his chair. "Ah, you know how it is, Michael. The city's always keeping us on our toes. But nothing we can't handle."

I raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk tugging at my lips. "Come on, Dad, spill the beans. You know I'm always up for a good crime-fighting story."

Dad chuckled again, then said "Well, there was this one incident earlier today. A group of bank robbers thought they could outsmart us police, but little did they know, we had them cornered from the start."

I leaned in closer, eager to hear more. "And then what happened? Did you catch them in the act?"

Dad nodded, a satisfied grin spreading across his face. "You bet we did. It was a classic case of good old-fashioned police work. We tracked them down, busted their hideout, and rounded them up before they even had a chance to make a getaway

"Damn, that's so cool, Dad," I said to my father, genuinely impressed by his stories of crime-fighting heroics.

Dad raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "What about you, Michael? How's everything been going with your... Spider-Man activities?" he said to me quietly only I could hear.

Looking around to ensure our conversation remained private, I leaned in and whispered, "It's been alright, Dad. Pretty crazy, actually. But I'm managing. Just trying to keep the city safe, you know?"

Meanwhile

In another part of the city, Mark Fletcher, also known as Night Wing, and Loe Halloway, the new "Angel" Vigilante, were out fighting crime without Michael this time.

In the alleyway, Mark, with his swift and precise movements, launched a series of powerful strikes at the criminals in front of him. His punches hit their mark with speed and accuracy, forcing one thug to stumble back. As one thug stumbled backward from Mark's punch to the face, another received a devastating back kick, sending him crashing to the ground. Without missing a beat, Mark executed a perfectly timed axe kick, knocking the last assailant to the pavement.

Then as Loe fought off the remaining criminals with a combination of speed and agility, Mark kept a watchful eye on his partner's back. Seeing a new danger approaching, he shouted a quick alert to Loe, his voice piercing through the commotion of the battle.

"Angel, behind you!" Mark shouted, his senses on high alert as he prepared to intervene if necessary.

Reacting with a fast reflexes, Loe spun around just in time to catch sight of the criminal sneaking up behind him. Without hesitation, he launched himself into a powerful elbow strike, connecting solidly with the would-be attacker's jaw and sending him staggering backward.

In the middle of the fight, Loe couldn't help but be impressed by Nightwing's swift and precise moves. "Hey, not bad, Nightwing!" he called out, a touch of surprise evident in his typically sassy tone. "Looks like you've become more reliable than before although not as strong as me"

With a grin, Mark nodded towards Loe. "Thanks, Angel. Just keep an eye out behind you, okay? We wouldn't want any surprises ruining that pretty face of yours."

Rolling his eyes in mock annoyance, Loe shot back, "Oh, please. Like I need your protection, Mr. Too Booksmart for School. I can handle myself just fine

Mark chuckled under his breath, impressed by Loe's stubborn determination even in the heat of battle. "Sure - Sure you can, Angel."

As the last of the criminals fell unconscious to the ground, Mark's mcall device suddenly began to ring. With a quick glance, he saw it was his girlfriend Emily calling.

"Hey, Em, what's up?" Mark answered, trying to sound casual despite the urgency in her tone.

"What's up? Didn't I say we're supposed to be on our date right now?" Emily's voice came through the device, a hint of disappointment evident.

Mark's heart sank as he realized his mistake. "Of course, I didn't forget about it, babe. Who do you think I am?" he reassured her, though inwardly, he cursed himself for losing track of time.

"Okay, babe, just be ready, okay? I'll be there at our usual spot," Emily replied before ending the call.

Mark sighed heavily, his mind racing to come up with a solution. "Man, I'm sorry, Loe, but I need you to handle this alone," he said, turning to his vigilant partner.

Loe's eyes widened in disbelief. "Wait, what? Alone?" he exclaimed, trying to reason with Mark, but before he could protest further, Mark was already darting away.

"I'm sorry, Loe! I'll buy you something next time!" Mark shouted back as he disappeared into the distance, leaving Loe to deal with the aftermath of the fight on his own.

"Shit!" Loe cursed under his breath, feeling a mix of frustration and annoyance. With a heavy sigh, he started to tie up the unconscious criminals. He knew he'd have to deal with this mess on his own now. "Fuck you mark" he thought bitterly.
