As I open the door, there they were: Chris and, just as I suspected, his father standing beside him. Talk about a Sherlock moment. Sheesh!
Chris looked up, relief washing over his face as he saw Spider-Man standing in the doorway. "Spider-Man!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with gratitude and hope. "Thank goodness you're here!"
"Are you all alright, Sir Hilton and Young Hilton?" I asked, worried about their well-being.
"Do you know us?" Conrad Hilton asked, his voice tinged with surprise.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the question. "Of course, Mr. Hilton! Who doesn't know you and your family? You're one of the richest men in the world," I replied with a smile, trying to lighten the mood despite the seriousness of the situation.
"Dad, seriously?" Chris exclaimed, his disbelief evident in his tone. "To think that my dad, who's good at thinking, would ask such a stupid question."
Conrad Hilton laughed softly at his son's comment, understanding how silly his question sounded given the situation. "You're right, Chris," he conceded with a little bit of smile. "That was a silly thing to ask, considering the circumstances." Then, looking at me, he said, "Spider-Man, thank you for helping us. Your being here means a lot."
Chris nodded in agreement, his expression softening with gratitude. "Yeah, thanks, Spider-Man," he said, his tone more relaxed now. "We really appreciate you showing up when things looking bad."
I nodded to show that I understood, relieved to see them remaining this calm despite the tough situation. "I'm happy I could help," I said with a smile, trying to comfort them. "But we need to get out of here quickly. It's not safe."
As we headed for the way out, someone suddenly shouted, "Spiderman!!!!" I turned to see a man who appeared to be Russian, wearing old-fashioned clothes from like a 1940s, and of course because this is 1947.
(Meanwhile Before this happened)
Thomas Halloway and Loe hurried towards the room where Spiderman had told them to go. With every step, Thomas's heart raced with anticipation and worry for the safety of those they were going to rescue. As they reached the door, Thomas paused for a moment, gathering his resolve before pushing it open. In his mind, Thomas whispered, "I hope you're here, Chris."
As Thomas opened the door, he was surprised by what he saw. Instead of the rescued normal civilians, there were rich-looking people inside. They looked scared and were holding guns (they have taken those gun from the bad guys Spiderman had knocked out back then). Thomas could tell that they thought he and Loe were enemies, and they seemed ready to defend themselves.
Suddenly, a voice cried out, "Teacher Thomas!" Thomas turned towards the voice and was shocked to see Mark and Emily standing there.
"Guys, lower your weapons, it's okay. This is Teacher Thomas, he's my teacher," Mark exclaimed, trying to reassure the others. But as he glanced towards Teacher Thomas, he noticed the buzz-cut 15-year-old boy standing beside him, the same one who had nearly killed him before.
"Teacher Thomas, why is he with you?" Mark asked, his voice showing how puzzled and worried he was.
"Hi there, tall guy," Loe greeted casually.
"You!" Mark said angrily, glaring at Loe.
"He's... um, different now," Thomas chuckled awkwardly, trying to calm Mark down. "He's actually a good kid. I promise he's on our team now."
Emily stood next to Mark, eyeing Loe cautiously. Her face showed she wasn't sure about him and what was happening. She didn't say anything, just watched as Loe, Mark, and Teacher Thomas talked, looking a bit worried.
Then suddenly, Emily's father, Gary Hawkins, and her mother, Sharon Hawkins, appeared in front of them. Gary Hawkins addressed Teacher Thomas respectfully, "So, you must be Teacher Thomas, the one Emily has been talking about." He continued with admiration, "I heard you saved Emily during the tragedy at school two weeks ago."
Thomas Halloway's smile grew bigger, and he looked at Emily with pride. "It was my job to keep all the students safe," he said proudly. "Emily was really brave during the bad times."
Gary Hawkins nodded seriously, looking thankful and respectful. "We're really thankful," he said honestly. "Please, if there's anything we can do to repay your kindness, don't hesitate to ask."
Thomas Halloway smiled kindly, feeling humble. "No need to pay back, Mr. Hawkins," he said gently. "Keeping our young' uns safe is all the thanks I need." His words showed he was sure about his job to keep children safe.
Teacher Thomas looked around the room and felt a wave of sadness as he saw the three dead bodies. It reminded him how dangerous the slums could be. He turned to Gary Hawkins with a worried expression. "What's going on? What happen When Spiderman save you?" he asked urgently.
Before Gary could speak, Mark's voice interrupted. Thomas looked over to see Loe aiming his guns at an unconscious African man on the ground. Mark exclaimed, "What are you doing?!" his tone alarmed and furious, showing concern for the man on the ground.
"He's the one who killed my boss!" Loe exclaimed, pointing his gun at the African man. "I'm sure he's responsible for those three deaths too."
"Wait, Loe, hold your fire," Thomas interjected, his voice firm yet composed. "Accusations like that need evidence, not assumptions." He glanced at Loe, his expression a mix of concern and caution. "Let's not jump to conclusions until we know the full story."
Then Mark pointed to the unconsious african man, he clarified, "He's not the one who killed the other two. The man responsible for those deaths is him," gesturing towards a dead body with a hole in his head. "And you know what's ironic? The one who killed him is this African man, the terrorist, who's now knocked out by Spiderman."
"I don't care! He's the one who killed Boss Albert. I will kill him now!" Loe exclaimed, his voice filled with rage and determination.
Mark stepped forward, his expression a mix of concern and disbelief. "Is that even worth it?" he questioned, his tone imploring Loe to reconsider his actions.
Mark's words hung heavy in the tense air as he recounted his own loss. "Back then, I also lost someone too," he began, his voice tinged with sorrow and resolve. "My teacher, Dan. He was the one who saved me and other students back then." Mark paused, his gaze intense as he locked eyes with Loe.
"Now, think about it," Mark continued, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "Is it worth it? Is taking revenge worth sacrificing your humanity, your morals? Killing him won't bring back your Boss. It won't undo what's been done. All it will do is perpetuate the cycle of violence and hatred." Mark's message was clear: revenge solves nothing.
"What's the point of your words?" retorted Loe, his tone defensive. "I already killed someone back then," he added firmly.
Mark shook his head. "No, you didn't," he stated, his voice unwavering. "I know you didn't because Back then when your gun was pointed at my head, I saw your hands shaking," he explained. "It means you're afraid to take someone's life." Mark's observation shed light on Loe's true feelings, challenging his claim of having committed murder.
As Mark spoke, everyone got really quiet. The rich folks who were holding guns looked surprised and worried. Some looked at each other nervously, trying to figure out what to do next. They were thinking hard about what Mark said and what it meant for Loe. It was like time stopped for a moment, and nobody knew what to say or do next.
Suddenly, Thomas broke the silence with a hint of surprise in his voice. "Wow, that's new," he remarked, before turning his attention to Gary with a serious expression. "Tell me what happened here. I need to know the full story."

As I turned towards the voice calling my name, my gaze landed on the Russian man, though his identity remained unknown to me at the time. A sudden curiosity compelled me to seek information about him, prompting me to silently request an analysis of his status from the system.
"System, please provide the status of the individual," I mentally directed the query to the Spider-Man System embedded within me.
"Affirmative, host. Status analysis initiated... Complete," the system responded, and in an instant, a holographic projector materialized before me, ready to display the results of the analysis.
