"Wait, if Chris got caught, what about Michael, my son?" Captain Edward Wilson's voice crackled through the telephone, his concern palpable. "Em, my wife told me that Michael is hanging out with Mark and Chris and Emily. If Chris got caught, where are they?"
Thomas Halloway's heart sank at the mention of Michael. He couldn't let Captain Wilson find out that Michael was in danger. "Don't worry about Mark and Emily," he responded quickly, his mind racing. "They are not here, and Michael also."
"Shit, I cannot let him find out that Michael is here. I don't even know where he is. He might get caught by those unknown intruders," Thomas thought anxiously.
"Wait a minute, let me just call Michael for a sec on my Mcall device," said Edward Wilson.
Thomas's anxiety heightened as he anticipated the outcome of the call. He knew he had to keep Michael's whereabouts a secret to protect him from harm.
"Hello, Michael," Edward Wilson's voice sounded through the phone.
"Hello, Dad," came Michael Wilson's response.
Thomas listened intently, his heart pounding in his chest, as he heard Michael's voice through the telephone.
"Thank God you're okay. Where are you?" Edward Wilson's voice held a mixture of relief and concern.
"Um, I'm just here, Dad, in the neighborhood with some friends," replied Michael Wilson.
"Okay, just be careful, okay? And come home. Your mother is probably worried by now," said Edward Wilson, his tone filled with parental concern.
"Okay, Dad," said Michael Wilson before hanging up the Mcall device.
"He's okay. Thank God," said Edward Wilson, his voice filled with relief.
"I told you he's okay," Thomas Halloway said, his own relief palpable. But internally, he knew the danger wasn't over until they found Chris Hilton. "For now, I have to look for Chris. As long as Michael is fine..."
But before Thomas could finish his thought, Edward Wilson interrupted, bringing him back to the urgency of their situation.
"Continue our discussion, Sir Thomas. We will deploy our police officers. Just give us the locations," said Edward Wilson, his tone serious.
Meanwhile (Michael POV)
As I was following them secretly, my Mcall device suddenly rang,My heart skipped a beat as I glanced at the caller number. It was my father
Michael's heart raced as he heard his father's voice. He knew he couldn't reveal his true identity as Spider-Man, especially now that his father was calling him.
I picked up the call, attempting to sound relaxed despite the rush of adrenaline. "Hi, Dad," I greeted, hoping my voice sounded calm despite my nervousness.
"Thank God you're okay. Where are you?" father's voice held a mixture of relief and concern.
I quickly gathered myself before answering, "Um, I'm just here, Dad, in the neighborhood with some friends,"
"Okay, just be careful, okay? And come home. Your mother is probably worried by now," my father replied, his tone tinged with concern.
"Okay, Dad," I assured him before hastily ending the call.
As I went back to focusing on my mission, guilt crept into my thoughts. I felt bad for lying to my dad, but I couldn't risk telling him where I actually was. Taking a deep breath, I pushed the guilt aside and concentrated on tracking them. My determination to stop the criminals' plans only grew stronger.
As I continued to watch them closely, my chi sense scanning their every move, I waited anxiously for them to reach their destination in the slums. I needed to know where they were planning to take Chris. My heart pounded with anticipation as I swung silently through the slums, staying just out of sight, determined to uncover their plans and rescue Chris before it was too late.
Meanwhile
As Lander took his last breath, a hushed silence fell over the room, broken only by the haunting echoes of his final cries. His lifeless body slumped to the ground, a grotesque sight with his head split open, revealing the shattered remnants of his skull. His eyes, once full of life, now bulged grotesquely from their sockets, a harsh reminder of the violence they had just witness.
The captives were horrified, their eyes fixed on the gruesome scene before them.
Elizabeth's anguished cries filled the air as she struggled against her handcuffs, unable to reach her husband's lifeless body. Her heart shattered as she witnessed the cruel fate that had befallen them, knowing she was powerless to change it.
Elizabeth's voice broke through, filled with raw anguish and despair.
"Oh God, no," she sobbed, her voice trembling with disbelief. "Lander... oh, Lander, please..."
Her cries echoed off the walls of the dimly lit room, a haunting lamentation for the loss of her beloved husband. With each futile attempt to break free from her restraints from her hands. she felt the crushing weight of her powerlessness..
"I can't... I can't reach him," she choked out, her voice breaking with sorrow. "Please... please, someone help him..."
Her pleas fell on deaf ears as the captives watched in silent horror.
In the midst of their despair and horror, the captives began to whisper among themselves, their voices shaking with grief and disbelief.
"Oh God, how could this happen?" a woman from the Astor family choked out, her voice thick with tears. "We were just... just going about our lives... How did we end up here?"
Her words weighed heavily in the air, reminding everyone of the sudden and brutal turn their lives had taken.
We gotta hold it together," another voice whispered, shaky with doubt. "We gotta figure a way outta this mess."
"But how?" a man interjected, his voice filled with desperation. "We're stuck... no way out..."
Fear and sadness enveloped the captives as they faced the grim truth of their situation.
Then Suddenly Luke's eyes burned with a mixture of rage and grief as he watched his father's life snuffed out in such a merciless manner. Tears streamed down his face, but his hands tightened into fists, showing his resolve.
"You'll pay for this," he whispered hoarsely, his voice trembling with emotion. "Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but one day... one day you'll pay for this."
His words hung heavy in the air, a solemn promise amidst the overwhelming grief. Tears stained his cheeks as he silently vowed to avenge his father's cruel fate.
[On the other side]
Emily Hawkins, a 15-year-old with bright green hair and blue eyes, stood with her parents, Gary and Sharon. Tears streaked down their faces as they stared in disbelief at the horror around them. Emily, especially, looked shaken, her heart heavy with the chaos unfolding. They were trapped in a nightmare with no way out.
Despite being unable to touch due to their restraints, Emily sought solace in her parents' eyes. She found comfort in their shared sorrow, knowing they were in this together.
"Dad... Mom..." Emily's voice shook, her words begging for comfort and understanding.
Gary and Sharon Hawkins exchanged a look, feeling their hearts ache seeing their daughter so upset.
Emily's distress was evident as she grappled to understand the horror before her. "Why would they do this?" she whispered, her voice shaking with disbelief. "This can't be real... It's like a nightmare. Please, someone, wake me up..."
Gary Hawkins fought against the cuffs, heart wrenching at his daughter's anguish. Tears filled his eyes as he struggled against the unyielding metal. "Let me out!" he begged, voice strained with desperation. But no matter how hard he tried, the cuffs wouldn't budge, leaving him powerless to comfort Emily.
Sharon Hawkins, tears streaming down her face, cried out in despair. Her voice shook as she begged for help. "Please, we can't stay trapped like this," she sobbed, her heart breaking for her family's safety. But her pleas fell on deaf ears in the room, the heavy burden of their captivity pressing down on them all.
[Back to George side]
"Quiet, all of you," George's voice cut through the room with a chilling command. He turned his attention to Luke, a cruel smile twisting his lips. "And you, young man," he sneered, amusement dancing in his eyes, "do you think you can kill me?" He laughed mockingly, his tone dripping with disdain for Luke's bravado.
"You're just lucky that I cannot touch children," George taunted, his smirk widening at the sight of Luke's anguish. "That's what Boss Jon said: don't touch children." His voice dripped with malice as he continued, "But maybe your mother is the next one." He sneered, relishing in the fear that flashed across Luke's face at the mention of his mother."
But before Luke could respond, George's chilling words cut through the air like a knife, sending a shiver down his spine. "Hoh, You're Indeed Lucky," George sneered, his voice dripping with malice. "Because I've taken a liking to your mother."his grin sending shivers down Luke's spine. "I haven't had my fun with her yet, but perhaps that will change soon." His voice dripped with a sickening mixture of lust and cruelty as he reveled in the psychological torment he was inflicting on the young man.
Luke felt a chill shoot down his spine at George's words, imagining the unimaginable horror of his mother being targeted by such a vile individual.
With everyone handcuffed and unable to move their arms, their options for escape seemed bleak. Then George saying something.
But perhaps I'll take out my frustration on that family over there." He gestured toward the Gallagher family, their faces pale with fear at the mention of their impending doom.
The Gallagher family, with Amon at their head, prominent figures in the car industry, paled at George's threat. They stood frozen in fear, their eyes wide with terror as they grasped the severity of their situation. Amon Gallagher attempted to project a sense of movement despite the handcuffs restraining him.
Amon Gallagher's voice trembled as he pleaded, desperation evident in every word. "Please," he implored, his tone quivering with fear. "We'll comply with any demand you make. Just spare my family, I beg of you."
Ignoring Amon's pleas, George swung his bat with a vicious force towards Rena Gallagher. The metal bar struck her with a sickening thud, and Rena let out a cry of pain as she collapsed to the ground, her hands still bound to a metal helplessly. The room fell silent except for the echoes of her agony, the other captives paralyzed with shock and horror at the brutal display before them.
The strength of the strike left Rena Gallagher writhing in agony, her chest now a gory tableau of blood and exposed bone. Her screams reverberated through the room, sending chills down the spines of the other prisoners. The other captives recoiled in horror, unable to look away from the brutality unfolding before them.
Amon Gallagher's heart filled with agony as he witnessed his wife's suffering, his fists tightening with impotent rage. "Please, no more!" he begged, his voice trembling with tears. But George remained unmoved, his brutal assault showing no signs of mercy. The sickening sounds of bones fracturing and flesh tearing seemed to echo off the walls, intensifying Amon Gallagher's despair.
As Rena. Gallagher lay in agony on the ground, her chest mutilated and blood pooling around her, George stepped back with a malicious grin, enjoying the fear he had unleashed. A thick silence enveloped the room, shattered only by the heart-wrenching cries of the captives, their dreams of freedom fading with every second.
Mark Fletcher, a lanky and tall 15-year-old boy, stood frozen in shock, his eyes wide with horror at the brutal scene unfolding before him .His hands trembled uncontrollably as he struggled to process the gruesome sight of A Women's mutilated body. A surge of sickness churned in his stomach, threatening to overwhelm him, but he fought to keep it together. all while his hands remained bound by handcuffs. Despite the terror gripping his heart and the physical restraints holding him back, a fierce determination burned within him, driving him to find a way to escape this nightmare. He silently prayed for someone, anyone, to intervene and save them from this living nightmare.
