Chapter 36 - Chapter 30 School Arc (14)

As Jord continued looking, he came across Brad, Gall Morson, and Dale Dallas, along with a bunch of other students. They were all searching for their missing classmates. Jord smiled when he saw them.

"Well, well, well, what do we got here?" Jord sneered, his voice filled with malice as he approached the group of students. "Maybe a bunch of wannabe heroes, trying to save their friends."

Brad, Gall, and Dale looked at each other with worry, feeling the threat coming from Jord's powerful Vibranium arm. They understood they couldn't take him on no matter what outcome.

"Who... who are you?" Dale Dallas stuttered, fear clear in his voice as he looked at the menacing figure in front of them.

Jord's grin grew wider as he walked closer, his eyes full of malice. Suddenly, he dashed in front of them quickly, his left hand striking Gall Morson's stomach with a fast punch. Despite not using his full strength, the hit caused Gall to bend over in pain, making him throw up.

"Gall!" Brad shouted, his eyes widening in shock and anger as he saw his friend writhing in pain on the ground.

Reacting fast, Brad and Dale grabbed the weapons from the terrorist they had taken down. Their hands shook with adrenaline as they got ready to defend themselves against the vicious enemy.

Without pausing, they fired their guns rapidly at Jord, surprising him with the sudden attack. Even though Jord was tough and strong due to the Buff, the bullets still hurt him. He winced in pain as each bullet hit him, making him stumble a bit.

"Gah, damn it!" Jord grunted, his frustration clear as he endured the barrage of bullets.

As Brad kept shooting, he yelled at Dale to grab Gall and get to safety. Jord, furious at being shoot  by students, glared angrily at them. His eyes showed how angry he was.

As Brad was about to say something, he was suddenly hit by a left punch, sending him flying backward through the wall with a loud crash. The impact left him unconscious, lying amidst the broken pieces of the wall.

The other students who had been watching in horror gasped in shock at the sight of Brad being sent flying through the wall, their eyes wide with disbelief at the display of sheer force.

"Dale, hurry up! Let's get out of here!" a student yelled, shaking Dale out of his daze.

As Dale and Gall Morson tried to run away, Jord suddenly appeared in front of them with a wicked smile. Before they could do anything, Jord punched one of the students who had spoken earlier right in the chest. The student stumbled back, gasping for air and clutching his chest in pain. Jord then sneered at him, saying, "You're annoying."

With a wicked grin, Jord aimed to play with the students before Spider-Man showed up. He knew Spider-Man would get mad if he saw such cruelty.

The students watching in front were frozen in shock and horror. They couldn't utter a word as they witnessed the terrifying scene unfolding before them. They stood there, paralyzed, tears streaming down their faces, realizing there was no hope of escape from the menacing figure before them.

Then, without hesitation, he grabbed another student, a girl, and forcefully slapped her across the face with his left hand, the one without Vibranium. "Who's going to save you now? Are you crying?" he cruelly mocked, before delivering another forceful slap, heightening the terror of the moment.

Just as he reached out to grab another student, Jord was interrupted by the sound of gunfire once again. he saw Dale, who had been frozen in shock, now taking action. Dale, summoning his courage, he fired his weapon at Jord in a desperate attempt to stop him.

"You monster!" Dale exclaimed.

"Me, a monster?" Jord smirked, a twisted amusement in his eyes. "You're probably right." With a quick movements, he delivered a kick to Dale's face, silencing the young man's protest.

Jord then pressed his shoe against Dale's face, his eyes gleaming with malice as he taunted the helpless student. "And what are you going to do about it? Your classmates are knocked out. Look at that classmate of yours who told you to run; I punched him, and now he's unconscious, probably lying through that wall. And your other classmate over there? He's squirming like a worm after I punched him in the gut," Jord sneered, emphasizing the students' helplessness. "So what are you going to do, cry or struggle? Consider this a lesson, You see, in this world, it's full of hardships. So You all should be thankful to me, cause  you're learning how cruel the world can be. Then Let me ask you again one more time , am I a monster?"

Dale, too scared to speak, couldn't argue as Jord stood over him. Then, Jord spoke once more.

(Sigh) "This is boring. I should kill one of you, starting from you," Jord declared with a chilling tone. Suddenly, a smoke bomb was thrown in front of him, catching both the students and Jord off guard. Amidst the billowing smoke, Jord's voice pierced through, filled with recognition and disdain. "You're here, Spider-Man," he snarled, his tone dripping with contempt as he braced himself for the inevitable showdown.

Spider-Man quickly used his chi sense to identify the students in danger and swiftly zapped them out of harm's way, ensuring their safety. Meanwhile, Jord was left disoriented in the thick smoke, unable to see due to the cover it provided. However, Spider-Man's chi sense allowed him to navigate the smoke easily, giving him the upper hand.

BEFORE THIS HAPPENED

MC POV

As I explained the plan to Teacher Thomas, It was time to trust my chi sense, a skill I'd relied on in tight spots before.

As I focused my mind and tapped into my chi sense, I could feel Jord's presence amidst a multitude of other energies in the area. But there was something peculiar. Among the weaker signatures, three stood out distinctly.

The weaker chi I sensed didn't feel hostile like Jord's. Instead, it felt more like the normal energy of students caught in the chaos. Realizing this, I figured Jord had probably taken hostages or was targeting the students as his victim.

"Mr. Thomas, we have to hurry," I said quickly, putting away everything in my inventory except the throwing knives.

Confusion flickered across Mr. Thomas's face as he asked, "What's going on?"

I spared no time for detailed explanations. "There's no time to explain," I replied urgently. "All you need to know is that the students are in danger, and we need to act fast."

"Mr. Thomas, do you recall our plan that I mentioned earlier?" I asked, handing him all 30 throwing knives.

"Ah, you mean the plan where I play the knife-throwing sidekick while you do the kick and punch?" Thomas said, as he loaded up with knives.

"Exactly, that's the plan," I confirmed, nodding to Teacher Thomas as he equipped himself with the throwing knives. With everything in place, it was time to put our strategy into action.

"Grab my hand, let's move," I urged, extending my hand towards Teacher Thomas. As he clasped onto my hand tightly, I activated my organic web ability, propelling us swiftly towards the direction where I sensed Jord's presence among the students' chi signatures.

As Teacher Thomas and I sped through the chaos, I couldn't shake the sense of urgency gripping me. The safety of the students weighed heavily on my mind. As I swung through the air, my chi sense detected another weakened chi signature, bringing the total to four. "I need to hurry," I thought, feeling the pressure mount with each passing second. Every moment counted, and I couldn't afford to waste any time. With each swing, I pushed myself to go faster, focused solely on reaching the students and stopping the danger they were in.

As we got closer, my chi sense detected another weakened chi signature, bringing the count to five. Urgency gripped me tighter as I neared the source of danger.  Suddenly, I heard Jord's menacing words: "This is boring. I should kill one of you, starting from you." Without hesitation, I summoned a smoke bomb from my inventory into my hand and swiftly threw it at him, hoping to disrupt his plans and protect the students.

After throwing several smoke bomb, I quickly appeared in front of Jord, who was obscured by the smoke along with the other students. Urgently, I started zapping the students from the smoke, one by one, making sure they were safe. As I concentrated on this task, I heard Jord's voice cut through the smoke, recognizing me with contempt. "So you're here, Spider-Man," he sneered, his disdain evident in his tone.

After zapping the last two students, I realized they were Dale and Gall, the bullies along with Brad. They were shocked as I rescued them from the smoke. Gall seemed particularly injured, struggling to catch his breath, while Dale was visibly grateful, thanking me through tears.

With tears welling in his eyes and a heartfelt tone, Dale echoed his gratitude, saying, "Spider-Man, thank you, thank you," his voice slightly choked with emotion.

Without hesitation, I retrieved five health potions from my inventory and handed them to Dale, who could still move. Urgently, I instructed him, "Drink these. I don't have time to explain, but these potions will heal your injuries instantly. Give the remaining four to the other kids."

Dale nodded, showing he understood, his gratitude evident despite his injuries. "Thanks, Spider-Man," he said between hiccups, his voice full of appreciation.

As Dale took the potions and began to drink them, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. These kids, didn't deserve to be subjected to such brutality. It was a harsh reminder of the dangers lurking in the world, even within the supposed safety of these school.

"Now, go and distribute the remaining potions to the other students,"I instructed Dale, my focus shifting back to Jord, who was still struggling from the effects of the smoke bomb  and being barraged by throwing knives from Teacher Thomas.

"You despicable fiend!" Jord growled angrily, his voice seething with rage as he struggled to fend off the relentless barrage of knives.

"Alright, let's do this," I muttered to myself with determination as I quickly advanced towards the thick smoke. Jord was blinded by the smoke, but I could sense his presence clearly

Meanwhile outside of the smoke

"Tsik," Thomas Halloway muttered in frustration. "I only have 15 knives left. Seems like Spider-Man already went into the smoke. I hope his plan worked; after all, this is suicidal."

The students who were rescued by Spider-Man began to ask for Thomas Halloway. Among them, a young girl with red hair, appearing to be around 14 years old, spoke up. "Will Spider-Man be okay, Teacher Thomas?" she inquired, her voice tinged with concern.

"Don't worry," Thomas reassured the young girl with confidence in his voice."He will win because if he doesn't, we all face danger." He paused briefly before continuing, "But that won't happen. Heroes always defeat villains."  His words were aimed at comforting her, given her young age and the gravity of the situation

Back to Michael Wilson

As I moved through the dense smoke, I could feel my senses sharpening due to chi sensing, honing in on Jord's location within the smoke. With each step forward, I readied myself for the  showdown.

In the thick smoke, I could sense Jord's presence like a guiding light, spurring me into action. With my chi senses, I unleashed a rapid punch aimed directly at his midsection. The strike connected flawlessly, causing Jord to stagger backward, thrown off balance by the unexpected blow. Blinded by the smoke, he had no chance to anticipate the attack, leaving him vulnerable to my assault.

Jord's frustration grew, fueling his determination to find and defeat Spider-Man. "You can't hide forever, Spider-Man!" he roared into the smoke, his voice echoing with menace. "I'll find you, and when I do, you'll regret crossing me!" Yet, little did he know that with every strike, I was inching closer to victory, my determination matching his own, my chi senses guiding me through the smoke.

As Jord regained his footing, I wasted no time, springing into the air with a jumping front kick. My foot made contact with his chest, knocking him back and disrupting his balance.

"Aurg!" Jord reacted to the blow, his chest heaving as he struggled to regain his balance. Despite the impact, he refused to back down, his resolve unyielding.  "Come out, Spider-Man! Fight me like the man you are, don't hide like a coward!" His voice pierced through the swirling mist, charged with frustration and rage.

"Are you a fool?" I retorted, my voice cutting through the smoke. "I fought you back then you almost got defeated by me until you resorted to that buff you injected yourself with. You are the coward and the cheater here, not me!" My words echoed in the smoke atmosphere, carrying the weight of truth as I stood my ground.

Throughout the exchange, I stayed vigilant, relying on my spider sense to anticipate Jord's every move despite the dense smoke impairing my vision and also Despite his speed and agility, he couldn't catch me off guard, well you know why its because he couldn't see me while I could sense him through my chi sense, giving me the advantage in predicting his attacks with precision.

As Jord grappled with the frustration of being unable to see his opponent, a plan began to form in his mind. "This guy, I cannot see him," he thought, realizing the limitations imposed by the thick smoke. "It seems like I need to use my Vibranium to punch through the tiles below us. That way, we'll be the only ones left, and I can escape in the smoke." Determined to gain the upper hand, Jord prepared to unleash his Vibranium-enhanced strength to create an opening for his escape. He also acknowledged the distraction caused by Teacher Thomas's relentless knife attacks, understanding that being alone with Spider-Man was key to his plan.

As I prepared to throw a Crescent kick targeting his body, I suddenly felt the ground beneath me shaking. "Shit," I cursed under my breath as I realized what was happening. Before I could react, Jord destroyed the tiles beneath us with a powerful strike in his vibranium. "This motherfucker," I muttered angrily, my focus now shifting to maintaining my balance amidst the crumbling ground.

......

As everyone sensed something was wrong, Teacher Thomas looked towards the spot where Spider-Man and Jord had been. He was surprised to see a hole in the ground, showing they had fallen through. Dale and Brad watched in shock as Brad drank the potion Dale gave him.

........

After the ground gave way beneath us, we finally landed below, crashing onto the ground. As I quickly assessed our surroundings, I realized we were in the science lab.
