I mean he was right.
Me and sayoka wasn't dead yet.
Just in time, me and sayoka simultaneously healed ourself with our incantations.
Sayoka thought of a plan.
She told me to follow along with it but I was abit confused.
Similarly so was hakairo.
But I trusted her.
"Arcane gate Siblical bond".
"Arcane gate universal strength".
"Arcane gate sinister statue".
What this clash done was,
Overlap sayoka gate over mine and overlap mine over pops.
This is flipping ingenious.
We then tried to destroy the statue as soon as possible.
He then had enough and started to increase the output tremendously.
"Allow me to help" said a familiar voice.
I glimpsed and saw it was truso
He then wrapped the space between me and sayoka gate with a impenetrable barrier.
"Couldn't this situation get any worse".
"Well it just did" said a mysterious voice.
I was confused as I had previously thought that truso defeated his opponent.
But funnily enough there she was standing unfazed and unscathed.
I would complain but she was on our side.
"Kirin" said truso
"Yes my dear"

Decided to get all lovey dovey with each other?

He seriously needs some needs better taste in women.
But that wasn't important.
What was important was her being on our side.

We couldn't possibly lose.
"I had enough…" said dad
He pulled out something from a little portal.
It was a portal technique similar to mine.
Me Kirin sayoka truso all came down in our knees.
He held a bottle with the most arcane energy in history.
And from what I could infer, it was his.
Shivers went up our spine in disbelief on what was infront of us
"NOW LET THE PARTY GET STARTED"
He drank up his arcane energy reserves and became a total monster.
He gained an extra 2 pairs of arms and an extra face.
He slowly started to transform more to a monster than a human.
"CHRONO SLASH"
Our gates all shattered including truso barrier.
And now we were in front of the full extent of sinister statue.
"Chrono slash".
This one was different.
It wasn't from father but from sayoka.
She had finally adapted to the brunt of chrono slash.
We then witnessed the gate get sliced perfectly in half.
"Who are you" said dad
"The one that will someday be the strongest arcane user in history" responded sayoka in the most cockiest attitude.
"You can never be the strongest if I exist" said dad responding in a madman manner.
"Well then, you just won't exist" said sayoka.
She came from the gutters of the city.
She was left with no father no mother.
And she still somehow managed to get by.
So I made a promise to myself.
If sayoka wasn't going to give up on her dream.
I wasn't going to give up at her.
"Kirin Siro truso. Let's go and kick his ass".
Truso made a barrier for everyone and a very potent one at that.
We all started to gang up on him.
"Ice technique. Glacier".
She summoned a ginormous glacier which covered at least half of the canyon.
Me and sayoka being the heavy hitters of this group climbed up the glacier but…
"Chrono slash"
We still ran up the falling glacier and then jumped.
"Arcane technique nebula pistol".
I shot out a blast of cosmic energy to eradicate him.
He miraculously slapped it out the way.
I was shocked.
How was I supposed to beat him.
"CHRONO SLASH" said hakairo.
It was coming straight at me.
"Chrono slash" said sayoka.
The 2 slashes both counteracted with each other.
He then sent another slash straight in the sky.
But me and sayoka both dodged mid air.
"Astral force". Said sayoka.
Hakairo got pushed all the way back.
I then used my astral pull technique to then push him forward which was followed by Kirin then used her ice cage to trap Hakairo in.
Then I couldn't believe what happened.
He then released not 1 but 10 chrono slashes and absolutely destroyed the cage.
"Arcane technique. Shadow scythe". Said sayoka
I then used my Arcane technique astral blade.
"Ice technique frozen katana". Said Kirin
We all decided that the only way we were going to beat this calamity was to do a all out frontal assault.
"Brother how long is the barrier going to hold". I said to truso
"20 minutes" he said
I told him that was more than enough time.
We all tried to slash him at the same time.
He grabbed all of our blades and punched us all in the chest.
Luckily due to the barrier none of us sustained serious damage.
But just because we didn't take any damage, doesn't mean the barrier didn't sustain any serious damage.
We then later got informed that there was 15 minutes left until the barrier was broken completely.
Flashback
"What is this" I asked truso
"This is a prison if you would call it that".
I asked him what does it do.
He told me that it would seal away any and all techniques.
However that will be used as a last resort if we all fail to beat him.
It was a shiny crystal and a massive one at that.
"All of his power will be trapped inside of here" he said.
I told him that it wasn't necessary for it and that we would beat him.
Back to present day
It looked extremely unlikely.
Our only hope was sayoka.
How her adapting technique works after she has adapted is that she will progressively reach the height of the person she had adapted.
Although it may not have been too visible, she had already started to reach his level.
Although I may lose, I know that in due time she will beat him.
And become the strongest in history.
