I was scared. I just couldn't believe I narrowly escaped my fate. I couldn't move.
My arm and leg was way to battered and bruised and I struggled to feel my legs let alone stand.
I didn't know what to do in this situation.
Normally I would use my magic to nullify the pain completely.
But since it's gone, I had to do it the traditional way.
I ripped pieces of my clothes to wrap up my hands.
I then crawled out of the hole and then I got hit from the back.
My world was going fuzzy. I could only just make out the muffled sounds of 2 men and a child.
With my faint voice I asked who are you and what their business was with me.
They then said "take her into custody".
And that's when I blanked out.
I was scared.
Did the soldiers capture me.
Did father get me.
I didn't know what to do.
I woke up with a bright light in front of me.
I then looked at my arms and legged and they were bandaged up.
I then realised that these people saved me and that I owed my life to them.
I then went back to sleep now knowing that I was in safe hands.
After I fully gained consciousness, I was awakened by a charming voice asking me if I was ok.
As a girl who was surrounded by guys all her life I didn't know what to say.
I wasn't just going to fumble the bag so I said the best possible thing in that situation.
I said yeahhhhhhhhhhh in the most weirdest voice ever.
I wanted to kill myself at that moment
Do you know them Prince Charming in them princess movies.
Just imagine that.
But 10 times better.
He had luscious blonde hair and stunning green eyes and wore the nicest clothes I have seen for a while.
I asked for his name
He said his name was karo
And I said to him that the name was boring.
It wasn't enticing.
I told him I would call him charming
"Ok ok just tell me if you need anything" said charming in the most sweetest voice
I was just lying down in a not so bad cave.
It was decorated with lights and it looked cozy.
Knowing I was in safe hands and that I just met my soulmate, I went back to sleep.
*7 days go by*
I could finally move my legs.
Obviously I couldn't do any massive movements but it helped that charming was helping me walk.
I COMPLETELY FORGOT SOMETHING.
I forgot to ask them who they were and why the outside was like this"
I asked charming who they were.
He said that they wanted to overthrow the king.
How he decimated this world.
He said they go by the resistance.
I asked them if they had anybody who could use magic.
He said that the king created a barrier to stop any magic from occurring so that they could prevent a revolt.
Hold on
When I jumped underground to hide from the barrier, they couldn't get me down here.
So I tried a simple spell
"Arcane magic. Light"
I was surprised it worked
But that then left a predicament. We couldn't use magic on the ground but we can use it underground. However we can't attack them from the top.
So the only way to destroy them is to destroy the barrier holding it together.
Barrier wasn't my specialty that was truso.
He always found a way to make barriers easy.
Ofcource I wasn't anywhere close to him let alone be able to counteract a barrier of fathers calibre.
He did try to teach me a thing or 2 about barriers.
But he was just going on and on and my head started to hurt.
But from what I could remember, he said you need to use the power of an imaginary force to find a some outside time.
He then said to get that area of dense arcane energy and expand it.
And finally implement your own arcane technique inside it.
Using these steps I decided to create a simple gate.
This would prevent father technique he implemented into the barrier from effecting.
Everyone stared at me in disbelief on how I was able to use arcane magic so effortlessly
I showed them it was because of this mark I had possessed near my face.
It would glow blue any time it was in effect.
This led to me being able to use my technique with little to know drawback.
When normal people use arcane the energy from their body gets depleted.
However. My mark takes that energy that was used and slows it down to such a small amount effectively making me use techniques with little to no drawback.
However this all happens due to my brain constantly changing the energy usage.
Despite me being super human my brain is still human.
So after some time it rots up.
I started to ask around what type of techniques people could use.
Long story short they could only use simple spells.
So I asked them if they wanted to use my own techniques.
This would prove to be quite the difficult challenge but I took the job.
I wasn't cut out to be a teacher.
My lack of tolerance towards people who don't listen was starting to show.
But charming came up to me and said that they might not be the sharpest tools in the shed, but they are the only tools we have so we have to use them to our fullest.
These words changed my perspective and he leaned in for a kiss.
I didn't know what to do in this situation so I panicked and set up a barrier between us.
Needless to say he was not fond of what I did just now and he left.
I felt like such a idiot and I went to the bathroom and started to cry.
If only mom was here. She would know what to do.
I fell asleep in the barrier and I started to have a dream.
It was my mom and she told me that I might be difficult to get along with due to my attitude and personality.
But if someone accepts that or who you are they are a keeper.
I woke up and went all the way to charming and I said
"Listen I get it I might not be perfect and I might not be the smartest person but your the only person that has ever liked me. And I am sorry". "And I love you"
He kissed me.
At that moment I finally felt like I have completed life
This was all perfect
It couldn't possibly go wrong.
I had the love of my life.
I had people around me who actually wanted my company.
Nothing could go wrong.
After that I went right back to teaching people about my arcane magic.
I told them before they learn techniques, they have to learn what arcane really is and how they need to channel it.
So i started teaching them classes with the help of my charming ofcource.
The second day was way better than the first. We were finally making progress in teaching people about arcane.
So I told them to channel arcane through their hands and hit the rocks with just pure arcane energy.
And every single one of them aced the test.
I was surprised that they could do something so hard in such a quick time spam.
I went to sleep that night.
I was awoken by a cry saying someone died.
I rushed there asking who it was.
They said it was karo.
At that moment nothing but rage filled my head.
I didn't know what to do at that moment.
Everything started shaking.
I started to fly breaking the entire cave.
I then let out the biggest arcane energy wave to date.
This spammed over a 200 km radius incinerating everything and anything
I then woke up breathing heavily on what just happened.
Charming rushed towards me asking what was wrong.
I told him I thought he died.
That I destroyed and killed everyone.
He then kissed me on the forehead saying that would never happen.
But I knew what was going on.
Was it a prophecy?
A foreshadowing waiting to happen.
I wasn't sure.
But what I was sure is that.
The world relied on him not dying.
