I was jarred out of my thoughts when he gave me the shock of my life. He leaned in and kissed me on the cheek before he pulled me into a hug. I was speechless, and flabbergasted. After a while, he pulled out of the hug and asked.
"Has it been long since you arrived?" There was a hint of a smug smile on his lower lip, as if he was trying not to burst into laughter for whatever reason I had no idea about.
Perhaps, the whole show felt like a joke to him, and he had only acted that way to give the public something to talk about. Of course we had attracted a pair of curious eyes, but none of them dared come close because of his bodyguards who surrounded us now.
