Noyomi was a young boy who lived in poverty with his mother, due to conditions of war, Noyomi lost his father, one day when Noyomi was outside doing small jobs for money:
Noyomi: Alright sir, so the items you need are:
Baking soda
Premix
Whipped cream
Strawberry jam
Did I get that all?
Noyomi was working for a rich man named Fushimoto
Fushimoto: Ah, yes, that'd be all!
Noyomi: I'll be right back then...
Noyomi bowed, as a sign of respect and went to the market
At the market:
Noyomi: I'll need baking soda, premix, whipped cream and strawberry jam...
Shopkeeper: Alright that'll be $12!
Noyomi: Here!
He passed a $20 bill to the shop keeper and got his exchange and Fushimoto's items
Shopkeeper: Have a good day!
Noyomi: You too!
Noyomi said that and left with the items
While walking Noyomi saw a small shine in the street's road, he approached it
The glow was coming from a ring with different spirits engraved on it
Noyomi inspected the ring, and picked it up thinking he could sell it
The ring suddenly latched onto Noyomi's index, tightly too, for that matter
Noyomi: AHHH! WHAT THE HELL?!
Noyomi tried taking the ring off but it was of no avail as if the ring became one with his skin
He was completely terrified of what had just happened, seeming to be still in place from shock
Noyomi is definitely not having a good day...
He tried to shrug it off but he just couldn't, he made his way back to Fushimoto's house
Noyomi: Sir, I got the items you listed, here!
He politely gave the bag of items to Fushimoto
Fushimoto: Thank you very much!
Fushimoto passed a $20 bill to Noyomi
Noyomi: Thank you sir!
He bowed again and left
Fushimoto: Such a polite young man...
Noyomi made his way to his house, puzzled about this weird ring
When he reached home, he saw his mother doing chores in the house
Noyomi: Mom, I told you to rest today! That back pain won't leave unless you rest!
Mom: You don't need to worry about this...
She rubbed her back trying to relieve the pain
Noyomi: Just be careful, alright?
Mom: Fine... Sigh
Suddenly, she noticed the ring in Noyomi's hand and raised in eyebrow
Noyomi noticed her gaze and tried to hide it
Mom: What's that?
Noyomi tried to hide his arm
She held out Noyomi's arm to inspect the ring
Mom: Care to explain?
Noyomi: It's a long story...
Mom: I don't mind listening to a story or two...
Noyomi: Sigh... Fine!
He explained everything that happened
Mom: THE RING WHAT?!
Noyomi: Yes, it latched onto my finger and now it's not coming off...
He said that in an irritated tone
Mom: You're acting like it's normal!
Noyomi: I had the same reaction...
Noyomi's mother then tried the soap trick to take it off but to no avail
Mom: Noyo! This is NOT good!
Noyomi: Stating the obvious.
