Chereads / 000 - What Makes The Sky Blue / Chapter 125 - 111. Primal Beast Orchid

Chapter 125 - 111. Primal Beast Orchid

Primal Beast...

What is Primal Beast...

Even Rei doesn't know the answer of that question beside they're creation of Astral.

But not all primal beast created by Astral because there is some primal beast based on real mythology.

But their power is basically more lower than primal beast created by astral and doesn't have any intelligence or personality.

Since Astrals are considered perfect version of Sky-realm denizens and blessed with the Power of Creation, they also possessed the ability to bring forth an abstract.

This is inherited by primal beast they have created as well where The Myth/Concept that is brought to Existence/Sentience do not in any case possess the ability to cease themselves from existences nor is capable of death.

True Death of Primal Beast can be achieve by either disrupting the fabric of Creation which is Providence created by the "Omnipotent" using Chaos which not only kills the Primal Beast but also kill their very essence which are abstract, concept, faith, mythos etc.

Or by using the power of each half of the "Omnipotent" which is termed as harvesting but the latter would only separate them from the Abstract/Concept/Idea/Myth thus the concept will remain and will not cause distortion due to a concept no longer existing.

Lucilius ability to ignore immortality and defense like Paradise Lost and The End can actually kill them too.

But their immortality is the least of the problem if involving Primal beast.

The real problem is their power and ability that way too much for usual power level in anime.

Ability to Rewrite History, Soul Manipulation, Conceptual Manipulation, Gravity manipulation, Fate Manipulation, Reality warping, Physics Manipulation, Law Manipulation, Causality Manipulation, Life Manipulation, Death Manipulation & Space-Time Manipulation.

Their ability is just absurd if even one of them going to another anime or game Rei sure their world not gonna stand a chance even a little bit.

He doesn't even know how Sky Realm still intact with so many of Primal Beast around.

How wide is Sky Realm, and why people from another world often coming to this world.

The first Primal Beast astral created is Lucifer by Lucilius.

The first primarch and the first archangel.

But for Rei the first primal beast he's created is Orchid.

Unlike in the game where Orchid only have golem body as replacement after giving Orchis body back to her.

This time Rei making sure she's have actual body with human function and need.

Except her body is just not human but also a Primal Beast.

Primal Beast Orchid...

Every primal beast have different kind of ability they governor.

Tiamat wind, Leviathan water, Yggdrasil Earth, Luminiera absolute devotion, Celeste Death.

And now Orchid Governance of Thread or Dominion of Puppetry.

Rei actually doesn't know what kind of ability she's gonna get after that.

Because he only created the concept of her core so for the ability she's gonna get it's depending on her.

Manipulation with Thread she's probably can use the same thing like Chakra that Kankuro use in Naruto.

But of course it's not that simple because she is Primal Beast.

But for now this should be enough.

"It's done..." Rei said while looking up at Orchid, who was floating in the air.

The others still didn't say anything and just kept watching him as he stared at Orchid.

Witnessing the birth of a Primal Beast... Even if they told their friends, no one would believe them.

Because it was too absurd, especially considering that the ones who created Primal Beasts were Astrals themselves.

Sky Realm people also managed to create Primal Beast imitations, like Colossus, which was created by the people of Valtz Duchy during the Great War.

But they took so long to create it that they didn't manage to finish it before the Great War was over.

And Rei could still control Colossus with his ability as an Astral, so all they did was a waste of time.

Orchid slowly began descending, and seeing that, Rei walked a little forward while raising both his hands upward.

Slowly, Orchid got closer to him, and then he caught her in a princess carry.

As Rei held Orchid in his arms, he couldn't help but notice the delicate sensation of her body. Her skin was pale, almost like freshly fallen snow, smooth and cool to the touch. It felt so fragile, yet there was an undeniable strength hidden beneath the surface—a reminder that she was no longer just Orchid, but a Primal Beast.

Her long, flowing white hair cascaded down like silk, each strand smooth and flawless, shimmering faintly in the light. It brushed against his arm as he adjusted his grip to hold her more securely.

For a brief moment, Rei closed his eyes, letting out a small sigh of relief. Everything had gone according to plan—Orchid was alive, her soul perfectly fused with her new body.

"She's... so light," Rei muttered softly to himself, his voice barely audible to those nearby.

Slowly, Orchid's eyelashes fluttered as if she was starting to wake up. Rei's gaze softened as he spoke in a calm, reassuring voice, "It's okay, Orchid. I'm here."

The moment Orchid opened her eyes, Rei could see her unfocused sky-blue gaze looking at him.

She seemed confused at first, glancing around briefly before her eyes finally focused and realized she was staring directly at Rei.

"Rei..." she muttered softly, her voice weak. Slowly, she raised her right hand, her delicate palm coming to rest against Rei's left cheek.

"Thank you..." she whispered faintly, her strength not yet fully recovered.

"Of course," Rei replied with a warm smile before turning to face the others.

"It's done, everyone. You can come here."

Hearing his words, the others finally began to move again, with Apollo immediately rushing toward Orchis, who was still unconscious nearby.

"Well, that was intense..." Eugen said with a sigh of relief.

"So... she's a Primal Beast now? When did you even learn to do something like that?" Vyrn asked, his curiosity plain on his face as he stared at Orchid.

"During my time in another timeline. I learned a lot, and this is one of those things," Rei answered casually.

"Do you feel anything different, Orchid?" Lyria asked worriedly, her voice gentle.

Orchid looked at her hand for a moment, clenching and unclenching her fist a few times, as if testing something.

"I feel... free," she said softly after a moment of silence.

The others seemed confused by her response, except for Rei.

He understood perfectly. In her previous body, Orchid had always felt restricted. The body she used wasn't truly hers; it belonged to Orchis. Every movement, every step, every breath carried the weight of responsibility—of not damaging what wasn't hers. She had tried her best to care for it, to preserve it, so that when Orchis returned, she wouldn't hate her for using her body.

But now... this was her body. Her own self. Her own strength.

She was no longer confined by restrictions or guilt.

"Yes, I don't feel anything wrong or strange with this body," Orchid said confidently, her voice steadier now.

Hearing those words, smiles broke out among the crew. Relief washed over them, and they began to gather around Orchid, asking her questions—how it felt to become a Primal Beast, if anything seemed different, or if she had any new abilities.
