A day passed after Djeeta and the others arrived at Port Breeze. After taking a brief rest while waiting for Belle to awaken, the day began with Djeeta deep in thought at the edge of the Grandcypher. She sat at the ship's deck, looking out into the endless blue sky as the Grandcypher was docked on the edge of the island.
"No, that won't work... Future Lyria didn't tell me what kind of abilities Lucillus has or what weapons he possesses. Using that plan would be too risky..." Djeeta muttered.
"And we don't know how strong he's going to be after he regains more of his power..."
If things kept going this way, she would have no choice but to keep trying to force Belle awake, no matter what. They didn't have much time before Lucillus fully recovered.
"Djeeta," a voice suddenly called out, along with the sound of footsteps approaching.
Djeeta turned toward the source of the voice and saw Halluel, Malluel, and Sandalphon coming toward her.
"You three? If I'm not mistaken, you're Halluel, Malluel, and Sandalphon, right?"
"Yes, I'm Malluel, and this is my older sister Halluel, and of course, Sandalphon," Malluel introduced.
"Hello," Halluel and Sandalphon greeted Djeeta.
"Are you still trying to figure out how to get the others involved in the fight?" Sandalphon asked.
"Yeah... it's just that with their current abilities and weapons, they definitely can't fight Rei. The only thing I can think of is letting them use my Revenant weapons, but that would weaken me," Djeeta explained, standing up to face the three of them.
"You're Archangels, right? And Sandalphon, with the power of the Supreme Primarch, you're probably the second strongest one in our group. So, I'm going to have to rely on you for support."
"Is my power really enough to fight Rei with his twelve wings? Even with the Supreme Primarch's power, I only have six wings," Sandalphon said, a bit worried.
"Maybe... but like I said before, we don't need to defeat him; we just need to prolong the fight," Djeeta reassured her.
The four of them continued discussing and sharing ideas, but they couldn't come up with anything concrete. Facing an Astral who had absorbed multiple primal beasts, combined with the enhanced power of the Supreme Primarch, was going to be an incredibly difficult battle.
"What about Gran? He's the Singularity of this timeline and basically another version of you. Can't he use the same power you did?" Halluel asked.
"The requirements to access this power are very difficult to achieve. The easiest way is by using a Catalyst," Djeeta said as she extended her right hand in front of her.
A blue light appeared in the palm of her hand, forming a glowing sphere. The sphere then split into ten smaller orbs, which transformed into ten Revenant weapons.
The weapons, made from blue aura and surrounded by starlight, floated around her hand.
"That's beautiful..." Malluel murmured in awe.
"Are those the Revenant weapons?" Halluel asked.
"Yes, these are the Revenant weapons. The easiest way to access Boundary Power is by using these ten weapons. The weapons resonate with your body, allowing you to tap into the power," Djeeta explained.
"Or, you can use the harder way—by using your own power, breaking the rules of the world, and accessing the power beyond it... and that's the Boundary Power."
While the three were in the middle of their conversation, Gran had just returned to the Grandcypher after his training. As he stepped onto the ship, he noticed four figures gathered at the far end of the deck, a faint blue light glowing between them. Curious, he decided to approach them.
"What are you all doing?" Gran asked as he drew closer.
"Huh? Oh, Gran, you're back from your training already. We were just observing Djeeta's Boundary Power," Halluel replied.
Hearing that only piqued Gran's curiosity further. As he stepped closer, his eyes landed on the blue aura radiating from Djeeta's palm. Floating above her hand were ten magnificent weapons, each shimmering with an otherworldly glow. They weren't ordinary weapons—they were the Revenant weapons, formed from pure Boundary Power, and the sight of them sent a strange sensation through Gran's body.
As Gran gazed at the weapons, something deep inside him stirred. A faint resonance echoed within him, as if the weapons were calling out to him, their energy vibrating in harmony with something he hadn't realized existed within his own soul.
"What... is this feeling?" Gran muttered, placing a hand on his chest. His heart beat in sync with the pulses of energy from the Revenant weapons, and for a moment, it felt like his body was being drawn toward the power that Djeeta wielded.
Djeeta noticed the change in Gran, her eyes widening slightly. "You feel it too, don't you? The Boundary Power... it's resonating with you," she said softly.
Gran frowned, confused yet intrigued. "Resonating? But how? I've never felt anything like this before."
Djeeta smiled knowingly. "You're the Singularity of this timeline, Gran. You have a connection to powers beyond this world, even if you've never tapped into it fully. The Boundary Power is responding to that connection. It's possible... you could wield it too, with the right guidance."
Gran looked at the weapons circling above Djeeta's hand, then back at her. "So, you're saying I could access this power as well?"
"Yes," Djeeta confirmed, "but it's not easy. It requires an immense amount of energy and willpower. The Revenant weapons make it more manageable, but even then, you need to be prepared. If you can tap into that connection, it could be the key to helping us fight Rei."
Gran's expression grew serious as he considered her words. "If this power can help us save Rei, then I'll do whatever it takes."
"Everyone! Belle is starting to wake up!" Suddenly, they heard Lyria shout.
Hearing this, Djeeta quickly deactivated her power, and along with the others, rushed over to where Lyria was standing.
"When did she wake up?" Sandalphon immediately asked.
"Just a moment ago," Lyria replied. "She refuses to speak until she meets with someone she calls 'the Singularity.'"
"My other self and the Tetra Archangels are watching her, so she won't be able to run."
Hearing that, they decided to head to where Belle was, deep inside the Grandcypher.
---
"Talk, Fallen Angel! Where is Lucillus right now?" Michael was glaring at Belle, holding her axe threateningly close to Belle's neck.
But Belle just smiled in response to the threat, clearly not taking it seriously.
"She's really not taking us seriously at all," Gabriel remarked to the others.
"That's because she knows she's the only one who can tell us where he is, and we can't do anything to her," Uriel added.
"Can't we use the mortal method of interrogation? You know, beat them until they confess?" Raphael suggested.
"That's a good idea," Michael said, grinning as she looked at Belle.
But before she could act, Djeeta and the others arrived just in time.
"What do you want from me?" Djeeta asked directly, eyes locked onto Belle, who was now staring back at her.
"Ahh, the Singularity... No, more like an Irregularity," Belle smiled slyly.
"Irregularity? Why did she call you that?" Lyria² asked, looking confused.
"It's obvious. I'm the only one singularity without a life link to my Lyria. But that doesn't matter. What do you want from me?" Djeeta replied calmly, brushing it off.
"Fufufu... you know, I'm a bit shy doing this with so many people watching. Could the others leave for a bit?" Belle said, glancing around with a sly smile.
"What are you even talking about?" Uriel shot back, clearly irritated.
"Oh, you know exactly what I mean, Uriel. Just give us some privacy, and then maybe I'll start talking~," Belle replied, her tone playful but suggestive.
"You seriously think we'd let Djeeta be alone with you so you can try to escape or whatever twisted plan you have?" Halluel interjected, eyeing Belle suspiciously before glancing briefly at Djeeta's open stomach, clearly not trusting Belle's intentions.
"Too bad, Halluel. I'm not like you, drooling over other woman 'assets.' I have my own prey to catch," Belle said, smirking as she hinted at Halluel's interest.
"Sure, I don't mind. Everyone, can you leave for a moment?" Djeeta suddenly said, cutting through the tension.
"What?? Djeeta, you know how cunning this fallen angel is! She's probably planning something," Malluel protested, clearly unhappy with the idea.
"It's fine. Even if she tries something, I can take her down easily. We don't have time to waste. We need to find Rei as soon as possible."
Though they still looked hesitant, Raphael was the first to leave, stepping out without saying anything. After seeing him leave, the other Archangels—Gabriel, Uriel, and Michael—reluctantly followed suit. Sandalphon was the last to go, casting one last wary glance at Belle before stepping out.
Next came Halluel and Malluel, followed by Gran, who looked concerned but said nothing.
"Are you really sure you'll be fine alone?" Lyria asked, worried.
"I'll be fine, Lyria. Just prepare for the battle later, okay? You too the other Lyria," Djeeta reassured them.
With that, Lyria and Lyria² reluctantly left the room, leaving only Djeeta and Belle behind.
"So, what do you want?" Djeeta asked directly, not wasting any time.
"I can tell you where Rei is, but only if you agree to my... terms~," Belle replied, her voice teasing and playful.
"Terms? It's your fault that he's in this state, and now you want some kind of deal?" Djeeta retorted, clearly frustrated.
"My, my~ Don't be so harsh. The deal won't hurt anyone. I get what I want, and you get what you need. It's a win-win situation for both of us," Belle said with a mischievous grin.
"And, let's be honest, even without my help, he'll remember who he is sooner or later. He's going to revert to his real self eventually. Doing it now is actually for the best, while he's still not fully recovered," she added with a knowing look.
Djeeta couldn't deny it. What Belle was saying was true. Future Lyria had warned her that Rei losing control was inevitable during their stay in this timeline. If he didn't the future where Future Lyria had suffered might repeat itself.
It was better to let Rei lose control now before he absorbed more Primal Beasts and became even stronger—stronger than any of them could handle.
"Hahhh..." Djeeta sighed deeply, realizing that she had little choice in the matter.
And with that, the two continued their conversation, going back and forth for a while, negotiating the terms of the deal.
