"Don Carlos and I have decided to stay here. This place is well-stocked and secure. It is the best chance we have for survival."
Logan was smugly caught off guard by her statement. He furrowed his brow. "You are just going to stay here? With everything going on out there?"
"Yes," Aisha said firmly. "It's too dangerous to keep moving, and we have enough supplies here to last a while. We can fortify this place and make it a safe haven."
But unlike herself, Logan was stuck with this stupid watch with countless tasks to perform, which made it difficult for him to stay in one place for too long. "I don't have that luxury; I have to keep moving. You guys can stay if you want, I've played my part in getting you to safety. I have someone out there who is waiting for me."
