Around him, shadows darted swiftly, creating faint movements among the dense foliage. However, in the distance, Aric could see the dim light emanating from the surface of a magnificent city. It was Eclipsia, the capital of Eclipta, where all manner of beings coexisted in their daily lives.

Shortly after, Aric was greeted by an old man who introduced himself as Mentor Thalion, guardian of ancient knowledge. Thalion informed Aric about the war between the forces of darkness and light that had haunted Eclipta for centuries, and how Aric's arrival could be a turning point in that battle.

"This world needs you, Aric," Thalion said solemnly, his eyes shining with sincere determination. "You are our last hope to confront the growing darkness."
