A little over 20 minutes after leaving their hotel, Zac and Ewan were arriving at a residential neighborhood, far from the center, in a popular area of the city.

There were many simple families living there, families of people who worked in basic services such as housekeeping, security for stores, salespeople, teachers, in short, the basis of the city's population.

Wages in Corton were definitely better on average than in Walney. While in Walney, the average person could make up to 1,000 Lunar Pennies a month in a single job, the average resident of the capital earned around 1,500 Lunar Pennies.

This gave city residents a higher quality of life. However, the cost of living in Corton was also more expensive than in Walney.

And even though there was a slight advantage in the returns of residents over similar people in Walney, the majority in this beautiful city were not rich, but ordinary, poor citizens.
