When he thought of bringing Amy into the church to learn the methods of these people, Zac didn't think she could quickly gain powers, become strong, and who knows how to deal with her own illness.
Everyone at today's meeting, except for him, must have had decades of experience as a member of the church. If Amy wasn't like him, it would most likely take a long time for her to gain powers.
