As she moved on without looking at Lydia, the blonde woman glanced at Zac and imagined that his companion was just as interested as she was in this monastery.
She smiled and went after him, walking not too fast but not too slow, while observing the beautiful historical building of the temple.
Before they entered a long, covered corridor leading to the meditation platforms on the other side of the building, two monks appeared in front of Zac and stopped him in his tracks.
Neither of the monks opened their mouths to stop Zac. They looked at him and shook their heads negatively.
Zac came back to reality when he realized he had gone too far without permission, still looking toward where some ancient monks were meditating.
'That... That's not normal! I'm pretty sure those monks aren't just ordinary humans!' Zac thought to himself as he considered what to do.
