Or perhaps, regarding that project we discussed earlier, I'll invest a million dollars if you'll forgive my behavior today," Eric pleaded anxiously, fearing that Ava might hold this incident against him.
Ava ignored Eric. After this incident, she had completely removed him from her list of potential partners. Her studio was thriving, and she didn't need an investor with questionable character. She had only agreed to meet him out of respect for their past association.
