Just as Eric's hand was about to touch Ava, she quickly intercepted his arm.
"Mr. Eric, I can handle this myself," Ava said firmly.
Eric raised an eyebrow in surprise, not expecting her to react so quickly. However, he thought to himself, with just the two of them in the room, what difference could her quick reflexes make?
Eric, with a malicious smile, watched as Ava lowered her gaze. He reached for her chest again and shamelessly said, "Ms. Sterling, there's no need to be so polite. Since I made the mess, I should be the one to clean it up."
Realizing his intentions, Ava frowned and took a couple of steps back, leaving Eric's hand grasping at the air.
"I said no! Mr. Eric, please respect yourself!" Ava insisted.
Seeing that his attempt had failed and that Ava was now on guard, Eric dropped his pretense. He approached Ava with a cold smile. "And what if I insist?"
