Seeing Zoe's reaction, Ava felt a pang of anxiety. Did Zoe disagree?
"I completely agree with you," Zoe said seriously, looking at Ava.
Ava breathed a sigh of relief.
"But Ava, why do you suddenly have this idea?"
Ava hesitated for a moment before speaking the truth. "Because I want to be independent, to carve out my own space, and not be controlled by others."
Zoe raised an eyebrow, quickly grasping Ava's point. "You mean... Nathan?"
"Yes, I've realized that Nathan has too much influence over the studio. He could threaten me with it anytime. Perhaps it's because our studio is too small. But regardless, I don't want to remain passive. Zoe, do you understand what I mean?"
Zoe nodded thoughtfully. "You're right. Nathan has sent people to manage the studio before, so he knows our weaknesses and can easily manipulate you."
