Nathan walked over to Ava and pulled her into his embrace.
"My woman, and you dare to touch her?" Nathan's voice was cold and menacing, his powerful aura making the greasy man tremble.
Realizing his mistake, the greasy man thought, "I'm usually like this, how could I know I crossed a line today?" Knowing Nathan's temperament, the greasy man, hoping to save the newly secured deal, hurried to apologize.
He approached Ava, his voice filled with fear. "Ms. Sterling, I am so sorry. I didn't realize who you were. Please forgive me, I truly didn't mean any harm."
