Zoe nodded, "Alright, I got it."
After this little interlude, Zoe affectionately linked arms with Ava, proudly saying, "Ava, you won't believe the fancy place I booked!"
"I always trust your taste."
"Of course!"
When they arrived, they found that Zoe had booked a hotel that looked at least three-star, if not more. Their colleagues were all exclaiming in amazement.
"Wow, Zoe, are we really eating here tonight? It looks so upscale. Is it going to be expensive?"
Zoe waved her hand dismissively with a grand gesture, "Don't worry about the cost. All you need to do today is eat, drink, and have fun. Ava and I will handle everything else."
The crowd cheered and began gathering in small groups toward the elevators. Once most people had gone, Zoe whispered to Ava, "Don't worry, Ava. This hotel is having an event today, so the total cost for our group won't exceed eight thousand."
