Seeing Zoe acting indifferent, Ava glanced at her. "If I do find a suitable competition, how about I enter you too? As I recall, you've never participated in a formal competition..."
Zoe was so startled that she almost dropped her chicken drumstick. She quickly gave Ava a pleading look.
"No, no, please, sis, you know I'm only good for small tasks around the studio. I've been living well enough under your wing. I don't need any sharpening, thank you very much. Besides, with you, who needs anything else? Or are you planning to abandon me for some other rich lady?"
Zoe dramatically covered her face with her hand, playing up her reaction. Ava laughed and knocked Zoe's hand away.
"Always so theatrical. Fine, you don't have to go. But I did get you a new project. Do it well, and there'll be a bonus for you at the end of the year."
