For Thomas, being able to work here was a rare opportunity, one he wouldn't leave easily.
"Zoe, did Thomas leave too?" Ava asked.
Zoe, looking frustrated, slapped the table and said, "Look at me, I completely forgot about that. No, Thomas hasn't left..." Her eyes darted around as she spoke, clearly feeling guilty.
"Then why haven't I seen him?"
"To be honest, ever since you left, I've been struggling to manage the studio alone. So, Nathan helped me out a bit."
Ava was surprised to hear this. "When did this happen?"
"Three months ago. Even though he can be quite troublesome sometimes, he's reliable when it counts." Zoe reflected on Nathan's assistance with gratitude.
"But what does his help have to do with Thomas?"
Ava couldn't understand the connection. She knew Thomas and Nathan must know each other, and given Zoe's reaction, it seemed Thomas hadn't left.
