Alex couldn't contain his anger any longer after hearing Nathan speak.
Nathan remained unfazed and smiled warmly, "If you had listened to your parents and gone back to marry that wealthy woman, none of this would have happened, right? So, Alex, you played a part in your grandmother's hospitalization."
Ava looked at Nathan in disbelief, her voice trembling, "You..."
"And I didn't try to hide anything, did I? That's why I'm here telling Ava about it now," Nathan said, his expression soft as he gazed at Ava.
Seeing Nathan's unapologetic demeanor, Ava couldn't hold back any longer. Her eyes red, she raised her hand and slapped Nathan hard.
"Nathan, you've gone too far!"
Ava's slap was forceful, causing Nathan to slightly turn his face. A few red marks quickly appeared on his cheek, and even his lip split, bleeding.
