She didn't really want to come, but there were things that needed to be said. So, today she decided to come along with Ethan.
"Brother, what brings you here?" Ava said with pleasant surprise.
"Why wouldn't I come? And you, having a baby is such a big deal, and you didn't tell us anything. I only found out through Zoe," Ethan replied, a hint of reproach in his voice.
He looked Ava over, feeling a pang of sorrow. She had lost weight again, and now she was all alone. He had heard she divorced Nathan. Ava, such a wonderful person, why did she have to suffer so much?
Noticing Ethan's increasingly strange expression, Ava couldn't help but speak up. "Brother, if you have something to say, just say it. You're giving me goosebumps staring at me like that."
Ethan snapped out of it and gave Ava an apologetic smile. "Sorry, I was just worried because you've lost weight. Are you alone in the hospital now?"
